Robin - The teeth are adorable! That's it. I'm doing the pictures next week. Maybe I'll drag dh too and we could do a few family shots.
Lynn - the boys look great! Everytime I see their pictures, I'm reminded of twins I grew up with and their mom dressed them alike for years. I think it's too cute! Glad everyone had a good time. Nat - I can't wait to see pics of your get together with Havana. What else is Sean up to? Any teeth? Is he doing daycare at all? Sleeping ok? Cat - What is pumpkin patch? I don't think we have those yet. But, it was a trip to Janie & Jack that was the source of the finger cut over here. They've got a good sale going on now! I had ordered online but needed to do some returns. Hi Bri! We haven't heard any vacation stories yet. Thanks for all the finger cutting advice. I've been filing Aiden's nails b/c I was scared to death to cut him and look what happened anyways! It seems to have finally healed up. I was trying to keep a bandaid on it but finally gave up that fight. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Hi everyone...............
Peachy- You asked..... ![]() The vacation sucked. It took us 2 days to get there and 2 days back. My fil ended up in ICU for a ruptured ulcer in his esophagus, and I ended up in the ER 2 times with severe bleeding and cramping. My ob called back today and she has me scheduled for surgery on Wednesday where she will do a ablasion/D&C in the OR. If this does not work I'll be having a hysterectomy. Nat- We have not moved. DH turned down the DC job so for now we are sitting tight. We have no teeth here yet at all.

Oh my goodness Bri! You really do when the vacation from hell award
Does your OB think it is the endo coming back or she just thinks there is some scar tissue from the previa and the c-section? I hope you have an easy recovery from surgery on Wed and feel better soon. Can dh take some time off to help you with dd and ds after surgery?Rowan is such a cutie! Look at that hoodie vest. I love it all! I'm in love with madras. Cooper is holding up. We're just waiting for our next consultation on Monday for more information. I love all the outfits around here for the babies! I wish it wasn't hot as hell down here and I could dress Aiden in something more than a onesie! Last edited by JustPeachy : 07-18-2008 at 06:36 PM. |

Thanks Peachy! I love madras as well... the grey outfit is actually a terrycloth one piece, full snap with a hoddie that snaps - I love it! It's like a beach/boating/pool outfit that I got at GAP a few years ago. I loved it so much that I got 2 of them. How lucky was I that I got the right size?!
It's been really hot here as well in the last few days. He was in a onesie all day today but you're right - I love dressing him so I'd be bummed if he had to wear a onsie everyday! Good luck on Monday with Cooper.

Bri- OMG! How horrible. I am so sorry. Yes, I agree with Peachy. You win the award for having the WORST vacation ever. So sorry.
Are you glad you didn't move?Shb- Rowan is so adorable! What a little ham for the camera! Robin- Alex looks so cute! Who could miss those teeth? Peachy- Goodluck at the vet's. Keep us posted. No teeth for Sean yet, just a lot of drool and gumming it. Looks like they are going to pop soon. No daycare as of yet. I take him everywhere with me and he is really used to people. We have gotten a babysitter a few times for date nights but that is about it. Still bf so he is nursing at 2am STILL!! But other than that he is a great sleeper. Not complaining. Wanted you to know that Sean looks at all of his animals on the walls (the ones you picked up for me) and studies them intently. I name every one of them and tell him where they came from! ![]() Lynn- Those are some great pics of your twins! Nat |

Peachy- The endo is back and probably scar tissue from the surgeries I have had. She wants to do a hysterectomy but I want to wait until Jayden is walking since I won't be able to lift him for a while.
Nat- I am happy that we have not moved thus far. I am not sure that I ma ready for it anyways right now.

So I have to say, hubby really stepped it up and pulled his weight while we were away and I thought he really got. But wouldn't you know as of our return Thursday night he totally regressed. He hasn't changed a diaper, washed or taken out a bottle or picked up either boy without me asking. He said today he can't wait to get back to work to rest. Yeah, no kidding. We went to buy carseats today because Nichola sis about 20 lbs. We went with the gracos because they looked the narrowest and I need to be able to get in the back with them sometimes. Not loving it yet, really doesnt have the reclinability for rear facing. My friend has the seat and her boys fight over it (She didn't get 2 of the same as her guys are 17 months apart. )BRU is changing their return policy, after Aug, 10th no refunds without a reciept. Just FYI. Nicholas outgrew his 12 month bathing suit and my Mom doesn't approve of me letting him just wear a swimmy diaper, they're cute looking and I can't find a bathingsuit.

I have a quick question, can anyone do those transitional movements like from the belly to sitting or go up on all fours, besides Gregor of course, that little gymnast.

Hmmm. Aiden can go from sitting to all fours. Once he's on all fours, he either crawls backwards, spins in circles, or his new is to get on his tippy toes and stretch one arm forward and attempt to crawl forward. He can also get around pretty fast these days in the walker and loves it. My dh still has good days and bad over here. It is disappointing. Yesterday was his day off and he chose to sit in front of the tv rather than run some errands with Aiden and I and give me an extra hand. I was at The Childrens Place yesterday and they had tons of swimsuits on sale. See if any of these work
The Children's Place: Clothing for Kids - Category - swimwear Aiden has his second tooth now and we tried our first meat chicken yesterday. Blended up a rotesserie chicken with some apricots and he loved it. Has anyone been using the overnight diapers? I know I haven't and was just curious. Aiden's diaper is definitely soaked by the morning but it doesn't seem to be bothering him.

Lynn - I forgot to say earlier but we actually got one of the smaller Britax convertible seats. It only goes up to 40 lbs. but it does work better in our mini suv than the full sized 60 lbs. convertible and we'll just deal with a boster seat in a few years. The Britax website has a good comparison chart of all the different seats and their dimensions. I think this one may actually take up less space than our infant seat and it does have the ability to recline. Just in case you're still thinking about other options.

Lynn- Ty will go from sitting to all fours, but it's more because he can only sit for a few minutes of a time and he then puts his hands in front of him and walks himself down to all fours... I think just a swim diaper is fine! But target also has bathing suits still, at least near us they do. Did you use a pool noodle to install the carseat to get the right recline?
