Robin - HELP!!! I love the video camera that you recommended to us. Takes great videos. But... I can't get the videos to transfer to my laptop. WTH?? Both dh and I have tried on both of our laptops. Do you have any hints?? Have you been able to get the videos to your laptop and then burned onto a dvd with just the usb cord??

Peachy - i haven't tried it on my laptop because it's a MAC and i know it won't be easy... let me play with my PC tonight and i'll get you instructions on what to do... i don't remember it being all that difficult, but i can't tell you what to do without having everything in front of me...

Thanks Robin. DH told me late last night that he's had a little success on his laptop but is still having some issues. The camcorder came with 2 different installation option cds so I might try the other one today. I was just in brain exhaustion by late night last night!

Cat great idea to use a noodle, I've been using a rolled up towel and it isn't cutting it.
Peachy thanks for the ideas for bathing suits. Some store should sell overall bathing suits for portly babies. My mom and I took the boys to see Mamma Mia, it was a hit with all the music, not a terribly interesting movie though.
I'm hosting my first playdate friday, so excited. I'm having 9 kids under 1 year and 9 from 1-8. These are just my good friend's children, I never needed to join a mommy and me class.

Lynn- i went to a playdate w/ "just" 5 kids under 1 and I was exhausted after an hour- can't wait to hear about your playdate! What is Evan wearing for pjs? i'm having issues getting ones that fit my chubby boy. I need to go get a sleep sack for his size but they only carry them at bru and that's a 30 minute drive out of my way so i haven't gotten a chance to do it...

Peachy- Did you take Cooper to the vet? Those swimsuits are adorable. There is a Children's Place outlet at SawGrass Mills Mall in Sunrise, FL (suburb of Ft. Lauderdale) and I asked Havana if she wanted to go with me one day that week. I have to see if the the outlet will accept 15% coupon I got in the mail.

Grrrrrrrrr...Had a class for stamping cards tonight at 6pm. Had to take Sean because Dh had to fly to Europe on business, out of all the freaking days. Sean screamed after about an 1 1/2 hours and wouldn't stop (he was tired and wouldn't nurse because of the different sounds (grandfather clock!!). Had to leave. Sorry just venting. this too shall pass...this too shall pass...this too shall pass...(breathe in, breathe out)....

Cat, It's Nicholas who is my chubber but for pjs I just have them in onesies for now. We don't keep our house very cold for the summer but I think you're right about bru being the only place to buy a sleep sack. We're supposed to have a new one opening a little closer, hopefully before the boys are too old.
Peachy, I meant to tell you, we don't use overnight diapers but now I might try them for Nic. He wets through all the time. It doesn't wake him up but such an unpleasnt way for him to start the day.

Cat - While you're at bru for the sleepsacks, they do carry the Carter's footie pjs in bigger sizes there. I got some last week. Aiden skinny but some of these pjs are cut ridiculously small with that tag saying that pjs are meant to be tight to reduce fire issues? The carters are better in the width.

Lynn - Can't wait to hear about play group! That's basically a gymboree class at your house!

Nat - Wish I could be there to meet up with you fun gals. You are absolutely right that this too will pass. Do you bottle feed with pumped milk or just BF'ing? Maybe you could try something like water or water with a little juice in a sippy cup to try to get Sean used to different things. Maybe start bf'ing him at home with more noises in the room like music and different rooms in the house to get him adjusted to different settings? Sometimes even our men just have PMS days. Aiden had a day about a month ago where he totally refused to take one of his bottles and I freaked out thinking he liked solids too much and would start rejecting bottles. But, it was a one time thing and has never happened again. I call it pms! Hope today is better. Oh, and we met with our vet on Tues. about Cooper and she recommended we go to one of two places in the state for further evaluation. We have an appt. with a doggie oncologist at one of these places this coming Tuesday for a one day workup and to see what our options are and if we should do treatment or just let him be and enjoy life.

cat - we got the Carter's pjs... they are cool, you snap top and bottom portion together, so Alex doesn't wake with his top over his face...

robin- i think most of our guys sleep on their belly now. I lay Ty down on his back and he looks around for a bit and then flips to his stomach to go to sleep. The drs say it's fine once they do it by themself... I didn't see any of the ones that snap together at the carters outlet. i bought a couple at children's place but after getting them home, they look REALLY small...

nat- nope, i won't be there would be fun though! i don't have plans to be in florida till next fall when we take dd to disney... i'll prob be in chicago first- i'll let you know when! some days are like that- hope sean's okay today! ty just falls apart after 6:30 if he's not in bed. he's so much happier if we just let him go to sleep by 6 or 6:30- and i've tried taking him places in the evening and he falls apart too. just breaks your heart to hear them screaming so much, doesn't it?

Robin - dh finally had some luck with his laptop which is a little newer than mine. Thanks! Hmmm... sounds like a good option for pjs! Oh, and Aiden's a belly sleeper only for naps and at night.

Cat - If you put Ty to bed by 6:30, does he wake up super early? Aiden's been sleeping from 8:30pm-7:30am and I've been thinking about trying to move it up a little.

Here's the one video we've been able to upload. You'll see Aiden's belly laugh about half way through. Oh, and those are Cooper's treats on Aiden's play tray. When we give Aiden his teething biscuits, Cooper is good and doesn't steal them till Aiden drops them on the floor! I took this video last week. Aiden is a speed demon in the walker now! He's got backwards and forwards figured out and is fast!

Has anyone found any diapers that don't leak at night? Emily has started sleeping on her tummy and now her diaper leaks at times. I am using the Pampers Swaddlers size 2 and they have been great until she started to sleep on her tummy.

So, my MIL is staying with Emily 2 days this week and 4 days next week. I have been SO nervous about Emily being with her because she doesn't really know her. SO...my very good friend and neighbor has the same monitor as we do so if we're on the same frequency we can hear each other. So I have her spying on MIL the next 2 days! Am I awful!?!?!? I am just not comfortable with her being with her. My parents have been with her this month until yesterday and Emily is so comfortable with them. Needless to say, DH has NO idea I'm doing this!
