Peachy- Evan held his bottle for the first time today too. Very cute that Aiden has a girlfriend. I can't believe the similarity between your Dad and Aiden, good future for that baby.
So Mirka and Peachy, we went to another farm today, and surprise surprise, took lots of pictures. There's also a beautiful butterfly garden. Thanks for the optimism about Evan sleeping again someday, It's just so much easier to take him to bed with me than to let him cry himself back to sleep. Just look at how nervous Dad is that Evan is gonna eat some rocks. The calf in the picture is just so cute in person

Mirka - You are too funny! I think there is a strong resemblance too. Just don't tell my dh... he's a little annoyed that Aiden looks nothing like him but looks just like his FIL
I know my Dad was born very close to Hanover. The house in the picture is a house where they were renting a place after the war. My Grandma told me the name of the town but it was one of those long names! My Grandma was actually born in the town of Auschwitz. Is that anywhere near where you are from? I can't remember if we've talked about this before.Lynn - I love the farm pics! Too cute. It looks like the boys are absolutely amazed by everything and love the animals. Good news about Evan feeding himself. I'm sure you would love to have a free hand one of these days! off to bed for me... |

Peachy, I dont know area around Hannover, but I had a friend from small town between Essen, Dusseldorf and Duisburg, I dont even remember that name, it is 20 years ago, I was there for 3 weeks and did visit also Netherland. Than with hockey team (what I was working for as travel agent) we were few times for 4 days trips and than I went manytimes for skiing on east side of Bavaria (region), just next to Austria. No, I am not from Germany, I am from Czech Republic, but there was time, when I did speak Deutsch, that time is gone, when you stop using it - you loosing it, I have only one brain and has its own limits and I am not for sure language person, I guess.....

Robin - I voted too. All pink! Well, hopefully Aiden will keep my dad's twinkley blue eyes but get dh's metabolism to avoid the little belly
![]() Mirka - I was thinking you were from Poland for some reason. Ah, Czech Republic. Now I'll remember! I took Aiden to the petting zoo today since it's finally cooler and cloudy today. He wasn't so sure about sharing the graham crackers anymore. I would say the deer ate 2/3 and Aiden ate the rest! |

Robin- I voted one of each.
Peachy- Are you guys going to get any of the rain from Fay? It'll be ugly here my way come tomorrow.

Bri - We have a chance of rain over the weekend. Today was just cloudy. People here are praying for rain but it looks like it might miss us this far north in the state. My Dad just drove through Fay today to take the grandparents back and he said there was lots of rain!
We must be getting another tooth over here. There is just an endless fountain of drool today and tongue sticking out. Either that or Aiden became a vampire overnight ![]() I took him to the petting zoo today since it was nice and cool for a change. Lots of fun. Aiden loved petting the deer but he wasn't too sure about sharing those graham crackers anymore! ![]() My house looks like a mini tornado. Since all the crawling is in full force, Aiden has pulled off anything he can possibly reach on lower shelves. VCR tapes everywhere. You get the idea! There will be lots of baby proofing occuring this weekend! |

OK Lynn :-) Here are pics from the zoo. I didn't get too many since the animals kept trying to sneak into the stroller and get our food. I had my hands full! I don't know if you can see it, but Aiden is holding tight to a graham cracker in every picture! Oh, and he is petting the deer in the second photo. That little pigmy goat followed us all around and kept nibbling on my stroller!

Peachy- Those are some great pictures!! Aidan looks so cute! He is so big!
Havana & I met up in Florida. Got to meet her Dh. We met up the Cheesecake Factory at the SawGrass Mills Mall outlet (fantastic place to shop) and had lunch there with my sister. She is GORGEOUS!! Little bitty tiny thing. I felt like an elephant next to her. Here is me, a South Florida, hot, sticky, humid-just-had-a-downpour frizzy hair, I need a nap & shower desperately, and still need to lose a few pounds, white mud stained pants. Across the way comes this beautiful, no-way-did-you-have-a-baby-Havana. Wearing a strapless blouse & skirt with HEELS!! Life is unfair. Matteos was just as adorable in person as he is in his pics. His eyelashes curl like someone does that professionally. What a little sweetie pie. I just adored him. Sean & he didn't pay much attention to each other. It was past Sean's nap time so he was screeching (cute the first 2 minutes, not so cute 15 minutes later). I salivated over her Orbit. I now want one. She is so funny & incredibly sweet. So glad that we got to meet!! Nat

Nat- You both look great! Must have been a very fun meetup. Can we convince you and Sean to make a trip to atlanta next? Glad you had so much fun. Was it nice to see your family again?
I've finally figured out the video camera thing and got two videos posted to YouTube of Aiden and Cooper. The two new ones have crawling in the title. No walking here yet. Gregor is definitely the gymnast in the crowd! YouTube - Babynboxer's Channel Aiden had a crazy night last night. I put him to bed and he went to sleep super fast. Then, woke up screaming 20 mins later. He could not settle himself and the sobbing was getting worse. I finally had to go in there. As soon as I picked him up, he was silent. I just held him in my arms for a few mins and then put him back in the crib. Of course, he started crying again but quickly went back to sleep. Weird. He hasn't cried in his sleep in months and usually he always settles himself during the night and I just see him shifting around. He has a horrible runny nose so I'm praying it's just another tooth coming in. I know there has suddenly been lots of sleep issues around here. Doesn't everyone just love these phases? ![]() |

Peachy- What a cute video!! I have to show Dh. I just love how he sniffs him to check his diaper and then decides that Aiden doesn't have a dirty one. But he thinks "Oh well, might as well clean up his hands & face.". hahahahaha Thanks for sharing that with us!
Poor Aiden. It definitely sounds like teething. Hope tonight is better. Nat ![]() |

Peachy- I think the video is so cute. We have lot's of wind and rain here so far. The worst is yet to come. Our house is officially on the market. Wish us luck!
