Jayden will eat whatever I give him, but it is mostly baby food. Robin your Alex is just a champ...don't know what else to say about that.

House has been on the market for a week and no activity.....

Dh comes home 2 morrow for 3 weeks and then he moves for work while I am stuck until this house moves.

DD turned 8 on Tuesday...her party is Sunday

Jayden is crawling and trying to pull himself up

He is into everything. DD was a much more laid back baby.

I go in and meet with my OB on Tuesday and see where we stand in regards to a hysterectomy....unless Ike comes for a visit.

Glad Aiden is feeling better. I hate it when they get sick.

Bri - don't worry about it yet... many are busy with their kids going back to school, they will "settle down" and start looking for a new place to live...

Lynn- Have you tried the puffs that dissolve? I give those to Jayden and it keeps him busy.

Robin- I wish I was as positive as you. This market is just slow moving. How is your weather today? Are you getting the rain and winds from Hanah?

Lynn - Aiden does pretty good now with the puffs and the teething biscuits which gives me some free time. Basically any sweet cracker will work... even Nila wafers or graham crackers.

Bri - This tends to be a slower month in areas with lots of kids for real estate. Actually, the busiest 2 months in my office traditionally are Nov. and Dec!

Crazy day. Let's see, the antibiotic has now caused diarrhea and we went through FOUR outfits today, I have no idea how many diapers, and now he has diaper rash too for the first time. Lovely week, isn't it?! He started screaming bloody murder tonight when you even just laid him down for a diaper change. Cried for about the last 20 mins of the night straight. Poor Aiden. His butt is bright red I slathered on the butt cream tonight and put him in the next size up diaper so it wouldn't be too tight. Any other suggestions? I gave him 1/2 a banana tonight to hopefully alleviate some of the diarrhea and I'll just keep giving bananas till I see a difference! Now I'm just hoping he makes it through the night. He pooped during all 3 naps today which is highly unusual. Fun times over here!

Oh, and dh has already informed me he is going to watch football all day tomorrow with the guys. Figures!

Definetly Rice cereal and bananas for Aiden, it really works for my guys. My Mom says blueberries are binding too.
Hana was a watse of time here too. It did blow down our flag though.

We didn't get a drop from Hanna and it looks like Ike is going to miss us too. Poor Gulf coast this year! Bri at least you are closer to the Atlantic side right?

Aiden was awake for a whole 1.5 hrs before his first diarrhea poop of the day. Maybe a little progress? It was bright green. yuck. But he didn't scream bloody murder and I smeared on the butt paste. I'll keep feeding him bananas till I see something change. Guess I should get some rice cereal too and mix it with the bananas! I only have oatmeal. He's not a huge fan of blueberries. But, he did sleep through the night without a peep!! Just want to get my cheerful happy Aiden back soon....

Peachy- Try letting him lay on a blanket without a diaper and letting him air out a bit before pasting him back up and putting a diaper on him.

We've been awful quiet this week. Just thought I would check in on everyone. I finally got the diaper rash under control so I guess that's one thing! Still, I don't think Aiden will be seeing any prunes until we are done with this antibiotic! I think the ear infection is on the mend too. This is the first morning he has woken without a runny nose.

Were still going through lots of transition though and neither Aiden nor I do well with those weeks. He is going from 3 naps down to 2 but it is definitely a work in progress. Went great Sun and Mon but yesterday he crashed mid-day. I'm sure we'll get it worked out in the next few days. He also just refuses to take 4 bottles a day. It's literally WWIII. So, I cut down to 3 bottles a day and he's doing much better and taking the full 8 ounces so that's 24 ounces a day.

Hope everyone else is hanging in. I'm thinking about all of you! Let me know what your little ones are up to

sounds good to me, that's what Alex gets too... glad Aiden is feeling better...

Peachy- Glad he is feeling a little better. Jayden still takes 4 bottles right now, but 2 of them are 5oz. He takes those after he eats other stuff.

Still no activity on the house and I had my appointment yesterday. She put a referal in to a GYN Oncologist. I should hear something from him next week.

Jayden continues to do the Army crawl and likes to get into stuff. We bought him a walker as well and his little feet barely touch the floor on the lowest setting..

Bri - Why an oncologist? Are they worried about something else causing you the pain? Jayden will get the hang of the walker in no time. It took Aiden about a week but now he speeds around the house like the Indy 500! He even does turns and looks over his shoulder to backup. It's very funny.

Robin - Are you going down to the Gulf or a beach on the Atlantic side? We'll hope those pesky hurricanes stay away for a while! Thanks for the bottle update. I know Alex isn't struggling with growing on 3 bottles a day so that makes me feel better.

Glad we're all hanging in. I've got to pick up Aiden from daycare early today. It's just a part time daycare at my gym so they recommended I bring him home to take his long nap rather than risking another kid making lots of noise and waking Aiden. He used to just take a short nap over there and did fine. We'll get the hang of this new schedule in another couple of days!

how many naps does Aiden take? Alex usually takes one (for an hour or so) if that...
