Peachy - Your SIL cracks me up. "Not her color?!" That is the silliest thing I have ever heard. We're doing stripes in the nursery too! Actually, I'm having wide beadboard installed that will create a little ledge and then above that we're doing one wide horizontal stripe with other smaller ones. Then we'll stencil the baby's name in the wide horizontal stripe above the baby's crib. Not that I've thought out too much or anything...teehee.
Cat - I can't believe your husband was interested enough to logon and add things to the registry! It's cute! My DH was excited about the stroller, but otherwise leaves the shopping up to me. I am, of course happy to oblige.  What's everyone up to this weekend? I am watching my sister's rugrats and trying to work on knitting a bleepin' baby blanket! If I work really hard, it might possibly be done by the time this piglet is five years old.  MM

Peachy-My baby will wear anything they get! Don’t get me wrong I LOVE nice things but there will be a lot of spitting up and stuff for a while!

Cat - Let us know how you are doing. We're thinking of you. I hope the spotting has stopped. I know that would help your peace of mind. Thanks for the advice on the registry list. I'll have to password protect mine from DH! Maybebaby - My kid is wearing anything in any color too! Robin - There is lots of cute Winnie the Pooh stuff out there. I keep running into it everywhere. Gotta run and show some more ghetto houses to this crazy client of mine! Last time I swear. I thought I had her talked out of the neighborhood last week but all the houses she wanted in the "good" neighborhood went under contract. Urgh.

The Kingdom-movie
Last night I had the privilege of seeing an AWESOME called The Kingdom The Kingdom - The Official Movie Site. In Theaters September 28th (check out the trailer!), it stars Jamie Foxx, Jennifer Garner, Jason Bateman & Chris Cooper. It was action filled, thought provoking, it even had a few comedic moments. A must see for the fall!
As for my weekend on Saturday I have my final RE visit and then I will hang out with a friend of mine and he little cousin. On Sunday I am going on a dinner/dance boat cruise around the Toronto harbour.

Hi Everyone!
Well I suvived my dad and the ding-dong Step mom. She was actually pretty tame this time around. Last night I played the video of the NT u/s scan. They were both pretty amazed since the technology has changed so much. In the beginning of IVF, my dad kept asking, so "when does it turn into a REAL baby"?? I guess he kept thinking it was a test tube baby or something...I asked him last night if it was a "real" baby yet and he was like "wow! that is so cool"! I didnt let them hear the heartbeat with the monitor because most of you know, you gotta go WAY down there to pick it up. They heard it on the video so it worked out. Oh funny-Dad said he had a gift for me and I got all excited opening it and it was the lame nightlight with his companies logo on it. Can you believe?? haha Dad also said not to buy anything until after the baby was born, and I said I had to get a carseat! He was like "why??" just hold it on the way home! (Im amazed that he has 3 children) Im starting to believe that he was at the golfcourse everyday! MaggieMay-ummm, I'm feeling really really inadequate now about the shopping. I dont have ANYTHING picked out, not even a rattle, and you have this totally professionally designed baby nursery. Maybe I can drag DH to the stores again today. I think Ive been working too much... Peach-Be careful in the ghetto today. I want you coming back alive! That client of yours needs to get with the program and hurry up and buy something. Oh and your SIL is crazy! Not her color?? As DH would say "como"??? (WHAT??)

Havana - don't worry! I don't really have anything picked out yet either! Seems silly for me to start picking things out and accumulating them in my house when we won't even be able to live in the house until 3 or 4 months after the baby is born. I'm glad you survived the visit from your dad and step-mom...they must have loved seeing the video!!
Peachy - Wow...your SIL has some pretty specific ideas for her daughter! Yikes. If she controls so much now, can you imagine what it will be like as that little girls starts growing up? I think I see a very rebellious teenager in her future! hahaha Cat - I hope everything goes well with the u/s. Please keep us updated!! I think it's so great that your DH actually logged into the registry and added stuff! My DH all ready told me that he wants no part of registering for stuff (just like our wedding...hahaha) so, I'm going to go with my friend that just had a baby so she can point out all the stuff she's found to be the most helpful/useful. I'm heading to the beach house this weekend for some much needed R&R. I'm hoping I'll be able to sleep comfortably down there though. The past few nights, I keep waking up with strange pins and needles and a cold/numb feeling in one area of my left thigh and sometimes I wake up with pins and needles or numbness in my left arm. So strange. The beds at the house on the Cape are SUPER firm so, I'm hoping it doesn't make whatever is causing this worse. I guess I'll add it to the list of questions for my next OB appt!!

i'm back! sorry, it took a while. everything looked okay to me on the u/s. Of course, the tech can't tell you too much, but the heartrate was 163 and I could see him kicking and moving-- oh yeah, I got the first results of cvs, I'm having a boy!
Still waiting for the genetic results, probably about 2 more weeks.

Oh Cat!!! I've been thinking of you all day. I'm so glad everything is ok. The spotting is really nerve wracking. So, add another boy to our list, huh? Congrats!! So far it looks like all of us with ICSI are having boys. Hmmm....
Havana - I survived the ghetto. I can't believe this client. I literally told her today that for me my safety has no monetary value and I don't know why she doesn't value herself the same way. Life is just to short to live somewhere with boarded up windows! I am so glad you survived the visit with Dad. The nightlight is cracking me up too. I think your Dad and mine raised kids together. I got the same "don't buy anything till the baby is born" speech from my Dad too. We need a relaxing day at the pool next week! Robin - Hmm... a three page list of baby gear. What books are you reading?? I need some of that advice! MaggieMay - I'm babysitting tomorrow too for the niece that doesn't wear green Maybebaby - Your weekend dancing cruise sounds very fun & romantic. Have a great time!
