Me: 30, blocked tubes (endo and scarring from the endo) DH: 32, healthy and incredibly supportive  1st IVF CycleLate March - April 2007: BCP, Lupron, Gonal-F & Repronex 04/17 ER - 6 eggs retrieved, 4 fertilized 04/20 ET - 2 embryos 04/29 - 05/04 hpts each day - positive!! 05/04 1st Beta = 514   05/06 2nd Beta = 1234  05/15 1st u/s - we saw our little bean!! 05/25 2nd u/s - everything looks great!! Heartbeat 152bpm! 06/18 - 1st OB appt - heard heartbeat for the 1st time! 160bpm! 06/27 - NT Scan 07/16 - 2nd OB appt - looking good!! 08/13 - Anatomy scan @ 1pm 09/10 - OB appt - everything's going well 09/12 - u/s - it's a girl!!! EDD = January 8, 2008! Julia Katherine was born Jan 10th at 6:23pm. 7lbs, 4.4 oz and 20.5 inches

I haven't told anyone but, I have a feeling that I'm having a boy....maybe it's because there are so many of us expecting boys! But, when I'm looking baby bedding, clothes, etc. I've been more drawn to all the boy stuff and usually I am 100% drawn to the girl stuff.

well, i consider getting to know the gender early as a small positive in the whole stick a huge needle in your stomach procedure!
I am excited about having a boy, but I wanted dd to have a sister close in age... I guess when this one is a year old, we'll have to try for the twins ;p (dh is rather content at staying at just these 2 but I figure i have a year + the rest of this pregnancy before I have to break in the idea of another!) as far as credit card statements, i'm totally in charge of them at our house! DH never knows what's on there

I am sure once your DH holds this precious little one for the first time, he'll warm to the idea of more of them!

I'll have to post a picture of pup later... I wish I could do a little video. It really is funny... even though that is mean. He even hops down the stairs! Oh, and he's all dopped up when I get him from the hospital so it makes his eyes all droopy. Quite a sight.
Off to look at an investment house. Got to make some money for baby. Be back soon!

Low lying placenta for Mom 8/1 - emerg. u/s - Placenta previa -baby boy! 8/15 - Level 2 u/s - Baby flashed us! 9/26 - Still full placenta previa 10/24 - Placenta check - still previa 11/28 - u/s baby is 5lbs.3oz!! Watching for preeclampsia 12/12 - Baby is 6lbs. 4oz. Aiden Maxwell born via c-section on 12/27 at 12:07pm 6lbs. 14 ozs!!

peach- what do you do w/ investment houses- do you try and fix them up some? Do you just hold onto them for a little bit? just wondering... And I hope your doggy has a quick recovery! poor thing!
Robin- my dd has a blue bedroom! And we have many balls for her to play with. Granted, she also LOVES to play babydoll, but I think you'll manage dd has exact rules for everyone when they play too-- mommy up, mommy sit here, mommy feed baby.... it's really quite funny. especially when she tries to play w/ granpa!

I think that dd got into dolls because of daycare actually-- around 12-18 months they love to start emulating those around them and she saw the women at daycare taking care of the babies and started doing that w/ her stuffed animals and baby dolls.... of course, we fully intend to get her a little golf set soon

When I told one of my childhood friends I was pregnant, she said she couldn't wait to take the little one moutain bikining, camping, etc. And I'm glad for that because if I have a little girl, I want her to see that women can be sporty and active too! If you have a little girl, she'll discover the girly things if she has girly friends.

you are right... it is, what it is... we will figure thigs out when the time comes... i would like to have a girl, no question about it, i am just a little scared, that's all.... cat, how many kids do you want? you are already talking about having more we would like to have at least 2 with a maximum of 4, but we will see...
