MM, what helped me was picking a spot on the ceiling, focusing on it and just concentrating on breathing. Good luck! I hope everything goes well and it's not too painful for you! Of course, after you're done, dh should bring you lunch & dinner in bed oh- and too funny about dh not noticing the couches, my DH would definately notice that. (at least, I think he would, I have rearranged furniture before and it's taken him a few days to figure out what's different)

boston- does nordstrom carry maternity instore or only online? And does the xs fit you perfectly right now? I'm trying to decide between xs and small but the sale shirts are 3/4 length and given the rate i'm growing, i'm thinking small...

Joy- Which jeans did you buy again? I really want one really cute nice outfit to wear out. (which will mean shoes too of course) And there are so many baby-related ideas that got people rich. Really, we need to come up w/ something.

Nathalie- good to see you over here

i do like the idea of setting up a website that will let people vote, though... i might have to look into it from home...

Joy - thanks for the info on the journals! I have a blog for the construction project and I tried to past the link to the expectnet.com voting into it (just to see if it would work) but it wouldn't let me. I'll check out babycrowd.com! Thanks!!

Robin - I hear you. I haven't updated my construction blog in two weeks (since things really got started) and I want to keep a private journal for the baby but, I have yet to make the time to sit down and start it. I keep telling myself that this weekend will be the weekend I get things in order! And then the weekend gets hectic and nothing gets in order. haha

Cat - I had to order my Nordstrom stuff on-line. I don't think the once closest to me (all the way in RI) carries maternity...I know the one that is opening near my house in Sept won't have it in-store either. The XS gave me some room to grow...but I am really not big yet. A lot of people in work keep telling me I'm not showing at all. You could order one of each size and return the one that doesn't fit.

Nordstroms doesn't carry much beyond the "Pregnancy Survival Kit" for maternity clothes, but their online selection is great and...you can do returns in store which is a major bonus! I'm constantly buying things online and then having to pack up half of it and ship it back because it doesn't fit right.

All this shopping talk brings a tear to my eye...hehe.

Good morning Everyone!

MM- Got the list! LOVE IT!!!!! I will be thinking of you tomorrow

Peachy- do they have Pet insurance where you live? A coworker of mine has it and it has saved her quite a bit of money

Alicia- the cervix is closed so that’s a good thing! Keep resting.

Kris- when you say “weird” what do you mean? I have more than normal and I have had some that looks like fertile CM
Very cool that you felt the little ones move!

Bri01- glad everything went well with your NT. I haven’t had any bleeding so I cant speak on that, but my RE told me that IVF pregnancy are the same as “regular” pregnancies in term of delivery etc..
Iluvmy2 mutts- welcome to the thread! I will add you to the due date list! We’re not finding out the sex of the baby either

Robin- when I register I will be happy to share my registry

First of all thank you for the warm welcome. You girl's are so friendly!!

Jkris80- Joy, congratulations on having all girl's!! I called my Dh and told him about your triplets. A set of naturally occuring identicals and a fraternal. My Dh said "holy cow!!".

MaggieMay- I would love the list if you don't mind. I will PM you after this post. Thank you, thank you! Hey, lucky you for having a Dh that is totally oblivious to what you buy. I wish mine was like that. Goodluck on your amnio tomorrow!!

Cat915- Catherine! I missed you. I wondered where you went. So glad to see you over here. Congratulations on finding out that it's a boy!!!! Wonderful news.

Maybebaby- Okay, good at least there is someone else not finding out! I was feeling like the odd man out over here. I hope I can hold out on the surprise. I am afraid that I will just say "tell me what it is" at the Level 2 scan.

Boston77- Thanks for the compliment about being a strong woman but unfortunately that is the ONLY thing I have willpower for. Food comes around and I become weak at the knees. Craving p&j sandwiches and anything else that is carb loaded. How about you, are you craving anything right now?

Nathalie

Ilovemy2mutts / Nathalie - I LOVE seeing you over here. Welcome welcome officially to the January group. Girls, Nathalie and I have been PM'ing daily and she is a sweetie. Plus, she got me turned on to my baby heartbeat monitor so a daily thanks to Nathalie!

Joy - Glad the pup is feeling better. They do seem to love licking up the pepto! No worries about the CM post. We love the girlie stuff. I can't wait to see your registry! All in threes!

Robin - I'm fine with sharing my last name/registry info. I'm tempted just to register at this small store near my house that has everything instead of having to drive back and forth 20 mins. to BabiesRUs but they too have an online site. Oh, and my "real" name is Rachael but I'm not even sure I would recognize myself if I take on a new name around here

MM - I'm still loving all the shopping advice. Keep it coming! So funny about dress all the neices and nephews in green. My dad isn't a big fan of green either and we did his entire 60th party in green everything. Got a good chuckle. We'll all be thinking of you with the amnio. How long will you have to wait for the chromosomal results? Can DH spend the whole day with you? Of course, it will have to be an online shopping free day with him around.... When do the contractors start up on the baby room? I can't wait to see photos.

Cat - I know neither of the Nordstroms here in Atlanta carries maternity in store either but my friends rave about their stuff.

Boston - The online journal sounds very cute. I've been lazy about writing in mine too.... I thought it would be a cute idea if I had a girl but have lost some motivation lately. But, keep taking pictures of the construction project week by week! You'll be amazed when you look back. Plus, it always helped me when an outlet somehow got covered by shetrock to relocate it!

Bri - We always love having you here too. The tv home shows are definitely fun to watch. I did say at least a dozen times on my last project that I was so happy no one was following me around with a camera. Especially when I had to fire someone and wound up calling the police! Urgh. Not a screaming match I would want to relive on repeats

Pup is recovering over here. I forgot to take a shot of him with the temporary cast The vet told me to take it off this morning and let the wound air out. If it starts to bleed then I can bring him back for another one. He seems exhausted by everything and is just napping for now!

I'm still really torn over these cribs and the adjustable fronts. I was hoping to have everything decided so when we find out the gender we are ready to order. Still have 3 weeks to keep deliberating and driving DH nuts. Hmmm.... I'm really leaning towards the fixed front and buying a little step stool for when my Mom (5 ft tall) comes to visit and babysit.

I haven't had any cravings yet. I seem to enjoy eating less than I did before the pregnancy, unfortunately. I used to love trying new restaurants, new foods, etc....now I just eat the same things every day. *sigh*

ah, great to know that i can return instore, okay, online nordstrom shopping, here i come!

Peachy, if you like the one that doesn't drop the front, then get it. Just make sure dh knows how to change a crib mattress It's quite a hassel w/ a bumper and a crib mattress is supposed to be a tight fit and a sheet is supposed to be tight as well. Now i have a couple looser sheets and it's so much easier.

I've been wanting pizza. not so much a craving as much as it's the thing that sounds best to me, so i just went to target for lunch because they have pizza hut express there. Very healthy, i'm sure. I think tonight (if i have any energy), i'll try and go to the grocery store so I can buy some fruit & veggies to cut up and bring to work for snacks. Hmm, pineapple sounds good right now...

Oh and Peachy, I forgot to tell you that I love the idea of investment properties, and one day, i'm going to do that! We basically bought our first townhouse as a flip house because it was in such bad shape and we put a good amount of work into it and it was so nice when we sold it. (prob a little too nice, but I lived in it for 3 years, so I wanted improvements that I wanted

I'm still not positive that i will register, but if i do, i'll let you guys know! I'm currently debating whether i need a new infant carseat. Mine is over 4 years old and you're supposed to replace them more frequently than that, I think...

boston & peachy-- need a bathing suit? Olian Maternity Ribbon Tankini - Maternity - Nordstrom.com unfortunately, it only comes in xs and I know that's too small for my behind.

Hi Ladies!
It took me 3 pages to catch up with you this morning and then my frickin intenet blipped for a minute, and I'm finally back up and running!

Natalie- to our group!! I know that MaybeBaby will be adding you to our due date list. She holds the important title of "Organizing Chairwoman". And honored Canadian. (mostly we are lovingly jealous of her with her RE who has an internet cafe and a zillion ultrasounds and 1 year off maternity leave) LOL

Bri-Im so sorry you've been sick!! Its great to see you again!!

MM-Ok girl, I havent received the coveted "list". Maybe I'll get the 2nd addition since you're adding new items everyday. Check your PM, I accidently goofed on my email address-sorry!! Oh and if I buy a new candle my DH notices. Red couches?? He would go nuts bc he didnt help!!
Oh and did I miss what time the amnio is? I wish you could cover your belly with EMLA cream. That is the best stuff ever invented. Actually do you have any? Can you take it with you? Maybe they will let you. (?)
We're all here for you!!! We know everything is going to be ok!!!

Boston-I think the website is a great idea! I feel like such a dork because I have sent out every ultrasound pic to all of my friends since the beginning. I just sent out a round of belly shots recently. I'm really one of the last of my friends and family to have a baby, so I know they think I must have 1st time Mommy syndrome. (haha) So I just get to vent with you guys. Dont get me wrong, they're really excited for me, but I want lots of emails analyzing my pics and belly, right? (I think Due Date buddies has me spoiled)

Robin-I think swapping registries is a great idea. We could jut PM each others info. I'm totally fine with it, we shouldn't post it on the main thread I'm thinking. my DH is totally freaked about identity theft and all that crap, so if he saw it, he would die.

Joy-I think you've got estrogen overload going on in there, the reason for all the cm. I had it when I was on the estrogen patch and I was so embarrased asking the RE. She told me it was totally from the rise in estrogen. Who knows what hormones are going on in there these days..

Peach-Glad the puppy is doing better! Do all his girlfriend boxers get to sign his cast? hehe

Ok everyone I have a confession to make....since Joy brought it up, I'm feeling a bit brave. I've told Peachy and in hopes that she believes me, (because I know its early) but I've been feeling this baby move too!!
Its feels like a tiny catapillar or a butterfly. The strong ones feels like those hunger gurgles without the hunger. I mostly feel it at night after Im really still and laying on my back. You have to REALLY be paying attention or you'll miss it. I honestly think its because I'm only 5'1" and the baby doenst have alot of wiggle room in there, so maybe I'm feeling it early.

SO there's your homework for tonight. Lay on your back and really try to feel it. Its so cool!!

honestly, havana, i can feel this baby some too. And hello, you have belly shots and you didn't post them for US?

okay, I just did some damage at nordstrom, but see they had some really cute nikes on sale for dd, for only $20 & $24 (yes, she got two pairs, only they didn't have her size now so I got one size bigger hoping they'll fit sometime next year!) and then I just *had* to order the fleece lined jeans & matching onesie for this little boy (i find that if you get lined jeans, that they're very soft against baby's skin) and they had some really great deals on pjs for dd for the winter (only $13!) and then, of course, about 4 shirts for me poor dh, I didn't see anything for him...

oh and I'm all for pm'ing the registries as well
