Lacy- Kris is right, you are a smokin' hot preggo!!

Deepa- I am finally starting to show now. Might post a belly shot someday soon. First, I have to futz with my camera- Ic an get it to go on and upload to the computer, but not take any pics. Hmmm..

Miranda- Be careful with the RSV- adults can get it, too.

Amber- I want to come visit you in Fla...the wind chill factor is -9' here in Boston today. brrr... Love your crib set. We were considering dark/black wood...it looks so sleek.

Grits- Still can't believe we are in our 6th month! Guess it all seems to be going so fast to me. Imight still say 5 jsut to make myself feel better

Girls- Are you still getting roundf ligment pain? I was thinking it might be all over by now. But, every once in a while I get a sharp pain and I think it must be RL...

Hope everyone is having a great Monday. If you are in the Northeast like me, stay warm!!

Hi Ladies! I trust that you all had a good weekend. Sounds like we all like to bargain hunt on the web. I checked all the sites for my stroller/stroller accessories. I prefer to order through amazon since they have such a great reputation and I've never had a problem with them being over here.

I couldn't get a cheaper price for the stroller and then decided to use the same vendor for both stroller and bassinet accessory. BIG mistake. They listed both as being in stock. The stroller is no problem, but they emailed me and told me the bassinet is back-ordered for March! I had everything timed just perfectly for DH to bring these items back with him next week.

Of course, the vendor is blaming the manufacturer. It's NEVER their fault, is it? so, I'll have to get that thing shipped out to me next month. what a hassle...not to mention the extra expense.

Amber and Katie, what a cute nursery suite. I love it! Miranda, I think it's so cute your MIL is stocking up your little ones' wardrobe! My MIL has done the same thing. I've told her that I won't ever say 'no thank you' to whatever she wants to buy!

Lacy, I can't believe you thought you were fat and ugly! You are so far from it! I know we all feel a little bit like that. It happens when I go shopping with my girlfriends. They can look at all this cute stuff and try it on and I can't. But then I think about how much I really wanted these babies and then the feeling goes away.

DH is away for a week, so I'm trying to pack the week with all kinds of fun stuff like getting together with girlfriends, movies, and a pre-natal massage. Hopefully the week will just fly by!

Deepa, how ya doin with the GD diet? I'm ok. Got a little frustrated with my late night snack yesterday. I just got so tired of the same multi-grain crackers. But I found a nice combo yesterday. I love fruit and I can only have 3 servings a day. So I really wanted banana, but on it's own it's so boring. esp since it's only half a banana. I paired it with some sugar free jello and it was really good together. I've got to meet with the nurse educator today to learn how to take my blood sugar levels. hope it goes well.

Ok, girls, have a great day!

Hello, my June momma friends!

I was just wondering, with this being the week of love and all, how will you be celebrating Valentine's Day this year? DH and I are keeping it low key and will be going to dinner at a little Italian restaurant by our house. I love hearing about people's plans, so let's hear what you've got in store for the special day...

I got more goodies in the mail! I got my car seat, Swing and Bouncer. I put them all together and they are sitting here in my den til I get tired of them and put them in the nursery until it is time.

Laurie, it is easy to monitor your sugars. You will be fine. Bummer about the backorder....

Amy, DH has a Knights meeting Thursday night, so it will be me and my junior Valentines......maybe I will make heart shaped pancakes for dinner. Something fun.

DH took some pics of the bump and I tried to post on my own today-too large! He is working 24 hr shift so I'll have to get his help to shrink them and post them.

Deepa-you sound a lot better, I hope most of your worry is gone.

Miranda-I did work on the nursery, acessorizing and such. I did a multi-frame hanging with my all of my friends babies and kids pics and bought smaller wooden letters at Michaels (which I painted) that said "My Friends" and hung underneath. Also, did the same with some family members who passed this year, put their pics together and bought letters and painted to say "My angels" and hung. we did the painting and border last week and got the crib and dresser a week ago. curtains my mom made. so will have to get some pics. I can't wait for the pics of the elephants-sounds so cute.

Grits and Hannah getting gifts already (Grits I know you ordered yours) but still so exciting!

Amy-DH is working a 24 on V-day so not much will be happening here, romantically that is. I will stay home with my other little man and love him and his kicks all night long!

Laurie and Deepa-feeling for ya with the GD, especially during this trimester when the appetite picks up a little---you girls stay strong, you're doing awesome!

Lacy-your pics are gorgeous, have never seen one that has not been. Just looking even better with the bump. I had the same cry last week, but DH was laughing at me crying because of my wt gain so then I couldn't help but start laughing while I was crying! we're a mess! but you do look gorgous!!

ok, Im up late, worked late tonight. hitting the hay!

hello my pregnant friends! i hope everyone is doing well. i love all the nurseries coming together!

miranda that's a really good idea to buy diapers every time you go to the market. i am going to copy you.

lisa i love what you did for your nursery with the frames! what a neat idea. you guys are all so crafty.

grits, you've got it together - i need to chop chop and start buying some of this stuff too.

june- i am definitely still getting round ligament pains. more than before actually. when i sneeze, cough, stand-up, etc. i get one and it takes about 10 seconds for it to ease up.

so wondering if any of your babies have begun the transition from normal kicks to ... creature of the night trying to claw his way out of your stomach? this just started happening to me in the last week and it is so crazy. it's really like he's trying to PUSH his way out of my stomach. it cracks me up - but also makes me feel bad because maybe he's uncomfortable and/or claustrophobic and wants out? lol. ok fine, that sounded psycho, but it really is the strangest thing. very interested to know if you guys have experienced this as well. if not ... prepare yourselves!

Good morning Ladies
I've been very busy at work and at home. I really think I'm just getting slow. Anyway, I went for a little walk with one of my dogs around my neighborhood yesterday, and I was sooo tired before I got home. I'm so out of shape, and this has to change because I have to get prepared for Labor.
I also got dizzy at church Sunday...Kind of weird... I got hungry, then I got hot, then I got dizzy. I went out for a drink of water and I started to feel better...I will tell my Dr on my next visit.
I've been trying to keep up with posts, but I apologize before hand if I miss anyone...Got to go back to work soon.
Lacy-Please do not feel depressed...you look absolutely beautiful with your bump.
Hannah-I can definetly feel my baby crawling movements now. I've been touch everywhere around my tummy...It almost feel like an octopus...I guess little D has a lot of energy sometimes.
Lisa-I also took a picture of my bump...I got to get some help to get it out of my memory card.
Grits-WOW girl...You are really ahead of the game. That is just wonderful...I just started with the nursery...Lowe's will be doing the floors in the next week or two.
Deepa, Laurie- I hope you are doing well managing your GD. I have my test papers, and I will probably be doing that Thursday. Hopefully everything will be okay.
Mom for Kitties-I'll be home, and my husband will be working until 7:00 pm on Valentines. Maybe I'll just order something in since I'm not the greatest cook
June-Can't wait for the picture of your bump.
Amber-the crib looks beautiful. I'm pretty sure your nursery will be awesome!
Miranda-Send pictures of your work in progress if you can or do you want to wait until you get the nursery finished?
Sailor-I was also wondering if you are doing okay. Let us know.
To all other June ladies...Have a Great Tuesday!

Good morning ladies!!

QUESTION.....I am feeling so tired lately, I also find I have to take a break after everything I do. I just can't get things done like I used to. I have no energy. Are you ladies feeling the same way?

I am begining to worry that in a month I am going to be doing nothing but eating and sleeping LOL
maybe its a twin thing??

Miranda, That feeling tired deal is completely normal. I have to take breaks everytime I do my house chores. That is the reason that it takes me a long time to accomplish something. I can only imagine how you must be feeling with two little ones in there.

hello my pregnant mamas,

miranda - don't u worry about being tired. you're not alone. today, i walked in my office just in time for lunch, after which i felt so sleepy. decided to take a 30 min nap and ended up doing 2 hrs straight! talk about coming to work! i also sometimes feel like an elephant - esp after dinner. i have some bump pics but they're about 2 weeks back. i'm going to take my latest dinner baby bump and try to post it (hoping i will succeed....).

today i went to see my ob; listened to the heart beats and they were both very good! my disappointment was i didn't get to see the babies! i so wanted to find out the sexes this time. my next appointment is in 4 wks time and that's when i will get to know the sexes.

otherwise, i hope u're all doing fine. keep smiling, keep shopping....

I am tired a lot, I was getting worried about it! I want to talk to my Dr about it tomorrow.
Ok ladies answer this for me, I an still new in this house, my neighbor is going through a divorce with 3 kids, is the set-up, well she has a nanny, who is chronically late, so she has taken to calling me at 7:15-7:30 to rush over and watch the kids until the nanny gets there. Well I am not a morning person, and I am not usually up then unless I have to go to the bathroom, then I am back to bed for a little while since I am a night owl. I do not know how to tell her not to call. She called Sunday night at 10:30 to see if I can watch the kids all day on Monday I agree'd ( did I have a choice?) I was up and ready for them to come over at 7:30 on Monday, no kids, nothing, I called her at 7:40 and she said Oh the nanny showed up so she did not need me!! This morning she called and DH answered, she needed me to rush over again, he told her I was getting up and could be there in 20 minutes so I had to rush off to the shower, and go over there! I feel bado for her, but she seems needy, she calls to "borrow" things she is out of for dinner, and borrow internet if hers is down, or have DH help fix something broken in her house, I am frusterated. Any suggestions??
Thanks

Meredith- You have to nip this in the bud NOW! She clearly has no boundaries and is very comfortable mooching off of whoever she can. Either stop answering your phone, or call her and tell her sorry, but you are not available to watch her kids at a moment's notice. Perhaps she needs to get a more prompt nanny!

Daysi- I might need to get a new camera for that belly shot. Mine is really not taking any pics. By the time I get a new one, I will probably have a huge bump!

Niki- So disappointed that you didn't get to find out the sexes. I'm surprised they want to wait so long for the fetal survey. Don't they want to check out the heart, brain, spine, etc..?

Kris- thanks for your reply about the RL pain. I was starting to get a bit worried.

Miranda- I think I am on a different time schedule than most. I just recently got my energy back. Hope you get yours again soon.

We are just going out Fri night to a Japanese steak house for Valentine's day. Will be pretty quite I'm sure. I am going to get DH a little gift and a card...maybe a Daddy related gift if I can think of something cute.

Have an OB appt tomorrow morning. It think he said last time that after this, I will go every 2 weeks.

miranda, i definitely get tired like that. it's getting a little better, but i've had spells where i was like you described. make sure your iron is ok ... my energy levels really picked up once i started taking iron supplements.

daysi, i get dizzy spells too. i think it's probably worth asking your doctor about just to be sure, but that's happened to me quite a few times as well. my whole head kind of goes "whooosh" and i spin a bit.

june have a good appointment tomorrow!

niki, glad to hear your little ones are doing well. i bet you are so excited to find out the sex ... 4 weeks isn't that long. do you have any intuition about what you're having?

meredith, my solution: caller ID! (don't even think twice about it ... you are not her babysitter and you need your sleep.)

Now I feel bad, I went over there tonight to give her a birthday card and the baby sitter was still there, well the little one "hurt" his wrist and is in the ER getting x-rays.......... this is a new baby sitter and she has no reason or explination as to what happened, she said he was upstairs at 5 and she heard him crying, she went to see what was going on and he was holding his hand.
I am expecting her to call in the am for all day tomorrow but I have a Dr appointment. My specialist and not with her friend who works at my new dr's office, I can only imagine she will call the nurse tomorrow after I tell her no to see if I was in. I will have to explain I have more then one Dr and that is not really something I need to go into with a new Neighbor! Some days I feel I can not catch a break! I know I feel bad for her son, he is so sweet and if anyone hurt him it kills me but I can not keep doing this everyday and feeling like a grinch because I tell her no when she needs help! Plus we still have a garage full of empty boxes where we are waiting for the moving company to come get them from the move so my car sits in the driveway and she will know i am home by looking out her kids window! HELP??? Can I take like a hour long shower at 7:30 and "not hear the phone"?
