Sarah, I hope my outcome will be as rosy as yours was yesterday! How beautiful to see and hear both of your babies' heartbeats! and so sweet that DH cried. I hope your babies grow nice and strong for you.

Grits, I don't think I would be jealous of me right now. It's just too much stress. Too many questions and too many different possible outcomes. I guess all will be revealed on 10/31! Halloween. I hope it's a treat and not a trick!

Amy, I wouldn't worry about the number. It just needs to rise.

Miranda, yes, please join. I'm sure there's room for plenty more!

Lacy, I didn't know about the empty bladder for transvaginal(dildocam!), either. Mine is always empty from all that waiting we have to do to see the doctor! But I will keep it in mind for future u/s. I can't believe you measured only 4 wks.

I know my online calculation was off by two days. I was actually two days behind the calculation, so i adjusted my ticker.

You know when we went in for u/s, the nurse took my weight and blood pressure just like all the other pregnant women I have watched over the years. It just felt weird to join their ranks. I think I'm still in a bit of shock that I'm actually preggo.

Miranda, never to full, the more the merrier. Congrats on your , great #'s, looks like you have waited quite the while for your little bean (s). Glad you are here.

Sara-WOW, that is an amazing US, so happy for you!

GRITS-I am thinking NOT on posting the belly pics. I am not very good with even knowing how to post pics, my DH had to do our pic for this forum!

Amy the the cramps, back aches are normal. Everybody has been so different and you will find that each day will be different for yourself. One day I like pizza, the next day, the same leftover pizza makes me want to hurl! you are fine, I had more cramps and back pains in the first week, they have tapered now.

Laurie.....LOL "Dildocam" you had me rolling on that one! hope you are feeling better and more confident about your US and beanS.

momto4kitties--30 sounds good for 10 DPO, congrats!

Welcome, Miranda! Isn't it fun to finally join this thread? I'll feel a lot better on Monday if I find out my beta levels are rising as well as yours are! You very well may have twins in there!

I'm just trying to get through the weekend to my 2nd beta. Since I lost my first little angel to a chemical pregnancy, I'm having a tough time staying calm while waiting. It's probably the only time I've EVER looked forward to a Monday!!

Congrats Sarah on your u/s results. Sounds like a really emotional experience.

Miranda, so glad you have joined. You are just a day ahead of me at least before my RE confirms my dates.

Laurie, I hope you're not stressing too much. Am so excited that you have officially joined the ranks of ladies with your weigh in and bl pressure monitoring. Really can't wait until I get to that stage.

Amy, don't worry too much about your number. It's really early days yet. Can't wait to hear how Monday goes.

I had to go and buy some new bras today as I am falling out of all of my current ones. My breasts are so swollen and sensitive which I know is largely due to the PIO shots. It seems a little early to have to "upgrade" already LOL. My DH is finding my transformation very amusing... Have any of you had this problem so early on?

Katie

I tried to post last night and this morning. The site was down.... UGH!!! I am glad I can finally communicate with my preggo buds.

My U/S was amazing yesterday. We heard and saw both heartbeats loud and clear. They released me to my OB. I will schedule my first apt. with him for 3 weeks from now. I am off the PIO injections. They switched me to suppositories for 3 weeks then I'll be done altogether!!! I am decreasing the estrogen patches and only taking 2 more doses of those also. Looks like I'll just be a regular pg chick before long!!!

Katie- My DH is also amused and has been for a few weeks. My BB's are sore and huge too.

Amy my first Beta was only 21 at 12 days but it doubled and my dr said it was fine so as long as the number doubles it is ok.

sarah and christy, congrats on your ultrasounds!!! and christy congrats on graduating to ob!

katie, my bbs have definitely gotten a bit bigger but not too bad. i'm mostly just tender - hard to tell whether that is from PIO or pregnancy.

amy, i know how you feel - i think we all do. each beta, ultrasound, etc. seems to be such a milestone. i have my second ultrasound on monday and am like you - can't WAIT for monday. will be crossing fingers and praying you've got a nice big doubled number!

miranda, i'm already having problems buttoning my jeans too. i ordered two bella-bands last night. have you heard of those? we had a discussion on here awhile back about them. it's kind of a nice pre-maternity clothes solution.

Congrats Christy on your u/s results yesterday. How exciting. You must be thrilled to not have to do the PIO shots anymore. That is something I will definitely not miss.
It's good to hear that I'm not alone with my "chest" issues btw

Definitely get the bella bands. I've been wearing them for two weeks!!

I wonder why my Dr. didn't tell me the hearbeat rates? He also didn't tell me how far along my babies measure. I noticed some of you have this info. and I wish I had it too. I asked him about the heartbeats and all he did is turn the thingy on so DH and I could hear them. Hmmmm..... maybe my OB will go there.

Brettsbabe, I love the pic! Very, very cool!!

Katie, you are so not alone in the swollen chest department. I feel like mine are looking like water balloons these days and I'm still really early! I can only imagine what will happen if they keep growing at this rate!

Martie, thanks so much for sharing your first beta. It is very reassuring and I'm feeling much better about my appointment on Monday, mostly because I have had pretty strong pregnancy symptoms all weekend.

I have a question about the bella bands... I was looking them up because I definitely want to buy some, but they're all around $26-$29. Is there a place to get them cheaper? Or is there a knock-off brand that works just as well? Buying one wouldn't be a big deal, but if I order 3 that's $100 already. Any ideas?
