hey ladies, it sounds like we all have the same affliction ... we WANT to be sick. there must be a name for that. it makes sense though ... all you read on these pregnancy sites is how everyone has SUPER sore bbs, bad nausea, etc. so that's what you expect, and when it doesn't happen ... well of course you're going to panic. i suspect all of us at some point down the road are going to be gagging and wishing we could go back to the days of no symptoms.

i'm so glad our september group is growing!!!

caribbeanqueen, congrats on your 2nd beta today! man your number (more than) tripled! how many are you having??!

Hey Hannah--I had high hcg with DD, so I am still thinking that it's one! My nurse is out of the office this week, and when I asked the nurse who called me with my results what she thought, she said, "I don't make guesses anymore." Guess we'll have to wait 'til the u/s.

I just hope that everything is still going well with everyone. The first trimester is a bit of a nailbiter, no?

Can't wait to hear about everyone's first ultrasounds!

Christy, good luck with the US, can't wait to hear the results.

Well my 3nd beta did not make it to the double mark but my RE gave me a call himself and said no worries, he would want to see anything above 70%. So, I guess I won't worry but of course I wanted the perfect double.

On a good note, I've had sore nips and sensitive boobs. Not the inside, just to friction....whoa!!

and a weird metal feeling in my teeth and mouth that is driving me nuts----I don't know if that means anything though!

so guess i'll stay worried until the next US, then will be relieved for one day until the next test.............................................. ..

lisa, the hcg is supposed to double every 48-72 hours ... so you are EXACTLY where you should be. don't give it a second thought. congrats!! oh ... and the metal taste is supposedly a common early pregnancy symptom.

sarah, congrats on your first beta - looks awesome!

christy, good luck tomorrow! can't wait to hear how it goes.

yeah, Jen! I am glad you are here. Yes, we can all obsess together.

Hannah, thanks for the reassurance. I did not know about the 48-72 hr until some of you gals mentioned it. Of course, I used one of the on line beta calculators from that link you gave and I was at 53 hrs for doubling---------I thought, maybe I should not have gone at 7am, if I went in the afternoon, it wouldve been doubled. This stuff makes you psycho.

anyway, I can't wait til we start seeing these US results.
