Amy---congrats on the US.....

Amber-the cramping is a once in a while occasion here too, not to easing but nothing ever comes of it. Sometimes it turns out to be gas pain in disguise.

Deepa---YEAH, glad you have a double dose of fun times and good news. I feel nauseated most of the day, seems worse than better but seems also to be relieved by bland foods-so, at least I can eat without........puking--yuck!

Lacy-I glad to hear the HB again and see the little one. I don't know much of the condition you mentioned but I pray all continues smooth sailing for you.

Welcome must love dogs---congrats on your pregnancy!

Well, I had my first OB appt today. It was a exactly a week after my last RE appt so not much of anything new on the US except getting to see my sweet pea move-it is amazing. they gave me a little bag of goodies---bunch of magazines, journal, coupons, little mini book, clothes catalog, Graco catolog, etc just a lot of neat things to keep my brain busy and my lips a smiling! It was good to see my doc again who didn't know what to say when he walked in the room, he did not yet receive the letter from my RE (since only last week) so he didnt know I was preggo. Anyway, no more appts for 4 weeks. I finish Estrace today and next Friday, no more Progesterone!!! yeah, I am so excited.

Hannah, Katie, Miranda, Laurie, and all the gals, glad to hear we have had a great, uneventful week.

Lacy, I get to take a baby aspirin every day because I've had a couple of m/c's. I've been told it can prevent m/c's due to clotting issues, which i don't even know if i have. I've been assured it can't hurt, can only help.

-Deepa, happy Deepavali. Hope you had a wonderful time.
- Laurie, let's pray you keep getting better and better.
-Lacy, Hannah, Katie, how are you girls?
-Amber - aren't u so lucky? You sh'd indeed keep that person closer to you.
-MustLoveDogs, . You will find this place and these ladies absolutely wonderful!!!

Today was my 2nd resting day. I had a blast doing nothing. My DH took me to watch a movie "Knocked Up", which was so hillarious.

I'm trying to get someone to buy the bella belt and send it over to me - your praise for it has caught up with me, so I will do my best to get it.

Gotta go get some sleep - it's 2.00am my time. I know you girls are up and running. "Talk" to ya'll tomorrow, God-willing. Stay blessed.

Deepa,

I am not sure where everybody else got the Bella Band, I did an internet search and they pulled up everywhere, mostly the same price around $26.00, different colors etc. I think the place I just ordered mine was ThePregnancyStore.

mine is on its way so I am not yet an official Bella Band sista!!!!

let us know when you got it.

Laurie-glad you had a good day, you so deserve it---

Happy Friday, my friends!!

Deepa, my DH pulled up the website for the company that makes the bella bands and then you can search for stores that sell them. The website is: Ingrid and Isabel's BellaBand. I found a store close to my work called Hot Mama and bought 2 there. I searched the internet extensively to see if I could get them cheaper anywhere else, but it seems that they all sell at retail price and you may as well go to the store rather than pay shipping. Oh, and YES, I'm still on the u/s high big time, and loving every minute of it!!

Lisa, your bag of goodies sounds so great! I have to find an OB that I want to work with since my old one left and I live further away from her now anyway. I don't know where I'm going to go!

Lacy, I'm sorry that it seems like you have more hoops to jump through. I'm glad your baby looked good though!

Miranda, I get exhausted in the afternoon too and I only have ONE baby kicking my butt! I already take 2 hour naps on the weekend. If I was you, I'd NEVER get out of bed!

Hannah, have fun with your mom!

Nalongo, I agree that Knocked Up is one of the funniest movies I've seen in a long time! I think it would be especially funny now that I'm pregnant!

Jenm, I'm glad you are feeling so good today! I hope it stays that way so that you can kick back, relax, and enjoy the rest of your pregnancy!

Katie, congrats on graduating!! My RE sent me packing after this one u/s, so I know what you mean about missing the weekly updates. It's a good thing though because it means our babies are growing nice and strong and we don't need to worry!

Mustlovedogs, welcome and I hope you have a relaxing and uneventful pregnancy!

My bb's really hurt today and I was yawning constantly even though I went to bed at 8:30 last night. I know that some of my coworkers are starting to wonder what's up with me. They probably think I'm out partying it up with my friends! Little do they know...

Lacy, yes, I'm in Singapore. I've been here since '99. it's a great, HOT!, place to live. I guess i can see you if you move here! Bummer about your genetic blood disorder. How did they know to look for that?

Hannah, i want to come too. Palm Beach sounds great.
It's great having a woman doctor. My Ob is a woman and it makes me feel so comfortable.

Miranda! Looks like the m/s bug got passed to you! Oh no! I hope you don't feel as bad as i did. Eat someting totally bland every 2 hrs. like 3 saltine crackers. It might work.

Deepa, where's your home town? Near to Singapore? Is your family from southern India? Can you believe I haven't gone to India yet? I need to go.

I don't have a bella band, but my SIL doesn't like hers and she's giving it to me.

Welcome must love dogs!

Lisa, your gift pack sounds so cool, too. i will have to start researching twin strollers, etc...soon to make sure it's the best one to get. Those things are so expensive. There are so many different styles, too, so it's hard to know which one to get. I know I need one that is easy to get in and out of a car.

There's a boutique baby store down my street which is so lovely. i think I might pop by there today. They have the cutest cribs, etc... for nurseries. I wonder if I have to buy two cribs, or can both babies fit into one big one? So many questions.

Sorry if I haven't replied to everyone. my eyelids are getting heavier and heavier. gotta rest.

Have a great day everyone

Deepa I also did a google search for bella bands....million places poped up that sell them. $26 seems to be the going rate.

autumnridge2006 G O O D L U C K

Laura I also have been thinking about strollers for twins. cribs....I have a friend that has twins and she is doing the one crib thing. I am not sure what I will do. When they are itty bitty I will want them together but when they get better will they wake each other up all the time?? Things to think about for us I guess!! My sister LOVES the side by side strollers and says they are a must! (she had to boys 11 months apart)

Hi gals. Hope you're all doing fine. I just popped in to ask about the bella bands. Friend of mine is coming over to the States and i wanted to be sure which size I shd buy. I'm ordinarily a size 9 to 10 U.S - what size bella band should i buy? Do I buy a size bigger, or should i stick to my normal size?

Laurie- I've also been pondering on whether to buy one crib or let them share. I also have a spare double bed that I thought c'd to the trick. Still undecided.

Today i popped in at my RE's (my next apptmt wasn't due till Thurs next week. The nurse decided to give me a check since the RE was around. The babies are doing fine. Heartbeats are stronger. It felt so good. My next appointmt is in 2 wks to have my cervix stitched a bit. Has this happened to anyone? They said it's standard procedure for ladies carrying twins.

Gotta go - p'se let me know about the bella band size.
Happy pregnant week!

Nalongo, I have the bella band sizing chart in front of me and here are the sizes (prepregnancy):

0-8: Size 1
10-14: Size 2
16-22: Size 3
24+: Size 4

I would say that you're a size 2 because they are made really stretchy on top so that they will grow with you throughout your pregnancy. I hope that helps!
