Hey ladies! I got on today and "found you here now"!
I have been a bad june mommy and not been on here! Sorry! I have missed so much of your kids lives and your own it seems Kris that is a big move!!! Things here are getting normal, but BIG advice coming DO NOT GET BLUE ICING ON A BIRTHDAY CAKE FOR YOUR CHILD! it turns their poo LIME GREEN no more Neon Green for DAYS!!! more later on that story! want to hear how everyone is! i will try to upload pictures in a day or so, I have missed you all!

Kristen Me - 35 (surgeries for cysts, fibroids and endometriosis) DH - no one has qualified for the job yet  (au naturale) - 08/066 IUI's, feb 07-jul 07, bfn 1st IVF with ds ... ER 9/10, 9 eggs, ET 9/13 - 3 healthy embies transferred 9/21- beta #1, 8dp3dt, 34  9/24- beta #2 184  10/15- first u/s - saw my baby! HB is 133. 10/22- 2nd u/s- HB 163, measured perfect! 11/5 - 3rd u/s- HB 173... the picture, AMAZING! 11/15- 4th u/s- HB 165, omg i saw my baby moving around! 11/27- 1st ob appt- looks great! 11/28- NT screening 12/20- ultrasound. it's a boy! 01/04- my first 4-D ultrasound ... he is precious! 01/22- ob appt; my baby is size XL 02/19- right on track, measuring 26 weeks 04/28 - dilation has begun! 05/21... Simon Anders was born at 8 lbs 9 oz!!

Yay, June buddies 08 are back!
Question about discipline - have any of you read about when it is okay to start utilizing time-outs? Simon doesn't take me seriously when I say 'no'. I don't want to scream, that teaches them to scream. But using a firm tone doesn't work either - he thinks I'm playing with him and usually laughs. When can I start putting him in his room for a little time-out?

Kris, I do 1 minute time out with Desi. I've heard you do 1 minute for every year of age. Daycare said no time outs until 2, but i'm trying them right now. I usually put desi in her crib and walk away...

thanks daysi. i tried it for about 20 seconds (in his room) and it REALLY upset him. but then, he hasn't gone near the tv again ... so maybe it worked. we'll see.

Kris, glad to hear it worked. Desi understands no, and acts likes she didn't do anything when I tell it to her. I use time out when she throws tantrums only...

What a busy day today was.....walked around a big flea market...picked up some hand made jewelry...like I need more lol
