Ladies, hope you had a nice day.
June - congs on seeing your little bean again. Wish we c'd do that everyday!
-Miranda - what a shopping experience! Hope you get better. Hang in there.
-Amy - you definitely need to look for another OB!
Ladies, I wonder, does any one of you feel itchy, esp after taking a shower? It's really become one of my after shower 'routines' - scratch, scratch, scratch. Can't seem to stop!

- Deepa, Hannah, Lacy, Laurie and all you pregnant gals, hope you're fine. Lots O' hugs.

I just got the call that my progesterone is high enough (blood work this morning) for me to stop taking the PIO and Estrace and I can now graduate to my OB/GYN. Yea! My DH asked if I thought we could get in quickly to the OB/GYN and I said ummmm...probably not. It's going to be a shock for both of us if we have to go very long with out an U/S to see our little one. Heck, my whole family is going to be going through withdrawals without U/S updates!

miranda, so sorry you are feeling so rotten! i have to say that i secretly went like this () however, because i know that you being so sick means your little girls are just growing away!

lotus you are lucky to be finishing the PIO! my lower back is one big hard knot. it is getting really hard to keep doing these shots.

Hannah, I totally cringed when you described your back. You poor thing. I have to say you are one dedicated momma! I'm sorry you're feeling so crabby. But 12 hrs of sleep sounds heavenly. I still have to get up in the morning with the dog and take her out. Sometimes I wish she could just take herself out.

Miranda, I know just how horrible that feeling is. I carry black plastic bags(that aren't see-through), and unscented baby wipes and snacks in my bag always for this reason. at least I know I can just throw up anywhere if i have to.

I've had three m/s free days and it's been wonderful! but it's hard not to think that maybe something is not right because there are no symptoms. I do get the occasional need for a nap, esp. after eating a big meal. I just want to sleep after that.

Amy, that does seem kinda long to wait. Doesn't your OB know that IVF girls are more special? hehe.

Lotus, congrats on graduating from the progesterone and on to the OB!

Katie, yes, I went through stretches of severe fatigue. I could fall asleep and three hours would just fly by.

June, I'm so glad you got to hear your baby's HB again. I can't wait for mine on Monday. I sure hope all is well in my belly.

Niki, I get itchy at night, too, but only on my stomach. Are you using soap? I find soap a little drying. Try to moisturize a little more if the scratching is driving you crazy. I have a friend that constantly scratched her belly with her long finger nails when she was pregnant. I think she had loads of scratch marks on her stomach from it, but she just couldn't help herself.

Laurie- It is so cool! I know you can't wait for yours and I'm sure it will be all ok, and amazing.

Lotus- It is a really good feeling to graduate to OB. I had my first telephone interview with his RN yesterday- before my appt next Wed. I wonder when the next u/s will be??

Miranda- Sorry you are still feeling so yucky! Hoping it will end soon.

Hannah- I stopped PIO a while ago, but remember quite vividly what it was like. I had knots and welts that were so sore and hot. Hope that you will be getting off of them soon!

Nalongo- I don't have the itchiness, but read in this cool new pregnancy book that I have that it is quite common. Have you tried Cetaphil? I use it for my psoriasis and I think it is the best stuff!

Katie- I hear you about the tiredness. I have to fly to Tennessee tomorrow night for DH's brother's wedding this weekend. I am so tired that all I can do is picture myself sleeping through the ceremony!

I just got off the phone from making my first OB appointment and he is seeing me tomorrow, which I thought was quick. I asked the receptionist if there would be a sonogram tomorrow and she said, "I have no idea what they're going to do with you." Nice, right? I was only asking so I would know what to tell my husband about coming or not, but I think he's going to come with me anyway so that he can see where the doctor's office is and meet the doctor, etc.

Junebug-what part of Tennessee are you going to? I'm originally from Tennessee and all of my family is still there. In fact, I think I'm going up there in January for a visit. I'm hoping to have at least a small bump to show off by then.

Hope everyone is having a good preggo day. I'm just having a fat day.

Hi girls, I just wanted to pop in and say hi to all of my IVF September buddies. You all sound so good! That has put a huge smile on my face. I love happy endings. Please keep me posted when you can as to the big milestones (graduating to OB, finding out the sex, etc.) if you feel like it. I wish you guys the very BEST of everything. I truly adored going through the cycle with you ladies. Hugs and kisses.

niki, i am sorry to hear about the itching! i too have heard it's very common from the skin starting to stretch. maybe try some kind of healing oil ... vitamin e, emu oil, shea butter ... one of those good moisturizing/healing oils. hope it feels better soon.

deepa, i know the lack of/fluctuation in symptoms really messes with your head. i just spent 10 mins analyzing my bbs and determined they have shrunk and are no longer sore. but - may i remind you, that prior to your last VERY good ultrasound, you also didn't have many symptoms. and things were great! my best friend is 25 weeks pregnant and i've talked to her every day of her pregnancy - literally her only symptom so far has been getting tired early. so i think just count your lucky stars and have faith things will be ok.

lotus, congrats on moving to ob! that is so weird the nurse couldn't tell you what they were going to do. why don't you call her back and ask her to please FIND OUT and let you know. that's only fair.

josee, it is very nice to see you!!

i hope everyone has a wonderful, uneventful pregnancy day!

Hello everyone! I havent been on in a couple days. I have been working and just busy. My symptoms these day's are exhaustion, and I get really hungry like every two hours, my bb's are tender and sore at night... That's about it. I am hoping the m/s stays away and the nausea as well.

I just wanted to say a quick hello!

Miranda- sorry those two babies are kicking your butt!!! HOpefully it will be over soon once your out of the first trimester.

Hannah- You are 11 wks?? Congrats only 1 more and your in the 2nd trimester!!! WOOHOO!!!

Deepa- You little baby is safe and sound, my best friend had absolutely no symptoms through out her whole pregnancy until the end, when she got a little hormonal....

Lotus congrats on getting right in to the OB.. I am still waiting to graduate....

I go for our u/s this friday and I am hoping my RE will say it's time to see your OB!

Have a great day of pregnancy ladies! I am going to take a nap!

josee hey girl!!! How was your trip to paradise?

So I just got back from my 1st appt with my Perinantal and she was nice, but VERY honest and blunt! (Which my OB warned me about already). I will have to take Lovenox injections for the entire pregnancy! They are to thin your blood. Then at about 36/38 weeks they will induce me (since you cant be on blood thinner while in labor!). UUUGGG MORE injections - at least each shot is prefilled and done sub. q. (which I had not problems with during IVF). One a lighter note the very honest and blunt perinatal dr. said very strern faced "The baby looks great and I see no reason you wont continue for entire pregancy." I LOVE hearing that! hehe
So now I have to see an OB & my perinatal dr. for entire pregnancy! hehe - just means I can see my little one more often on screen I guess! hehe

I hope everyone else is doing great! I cant wait until next week!!! I bought a shirt for myself at the Doctor's office today that says "We're Hungry!" i plan on wearing it to our big thanksgiving dinner!!!!

Lacy thats what I am on also Lovenox daily. The needle is tiny, thats a plus.....fair warning sweets your tummy will get lots of big huge yucky bruises from the blood thinner Mine is covered with them. This injection is the easiest one of them all. I started taking mine the day of the IUI. Sorry to hear you too have to do this but at least you found out you need them before it was too late.

Oh nice to know another person taking this medicine! Sorry we have to take it, but worth it! FORSURE! hehe

So do you know what your protocol will be? How long will you take Lovonex? Will you take heprin in 3rd trimester? Will they induce you?(I know I can not deliver while on blood thinners) So many questions! hehe

I wonder how the heck I will give these injections once my belly is big??? What location do you give the shots in? The paper they gave me showing closer to the "love handles" area ...? I thought I did the shot right under the belly button area?

Thank you for your advice! hehe
