jen - i will post my u/s from today so you can see what it looks like right now- but that is so sad! my next appt is with an obgyn too and i fear i'll have the same experience.

deepa ... yes lexie bugs me too. i used to really like izzie but now with this whole george thing, i find her very annoying. 10 days will be up before you know it. especially with thanksgiving next week.

I am on my way to my 2nd official u/s with RE. I hope I graduate today. I have to go to this u/s alone, because DH is out of town for work, and my mom is in Tallahassee (she wanted so badly to come too ) So I just pray that all is ok, and I don't have to go through anything bad alone!!! I am sure everything is great because I feel preggo!

Sorry I haven't posted. I've started to worry before going in for my u/s on Monday. It's Friday night now and I'm starting to get really nervous. I haven't been taking all my vits and I've been feeling so good apart from some exhaustion everyday.

Lacy, did you find that info on Singapore helpful? you didn't mention anything about it.

Hannah, I can't believe you pulled another one!! That's too funny. Yes, please scan the u/s for us to drool over. I vote for changing the ticker, too, so we can just glance at it and know where you are.

I'm sorry most of you are having not so good experiences at the OB. I hope it gets a little better as time goes on. I guess Tom Cruise wasn't so crazy for buying his own u/s machine, then! He could see his baby whenever he wanted to.

I'm so excited about my DH coming home Sunday morn. he's been away for a little over 2 wks. He skipped the worst of my m/s, though. I'll have to ask my OB if we can do some BDing.

Oh, and I've noticed another pregnancy quirk of mine is that I can't eat a full meal after 6pm-ish. I can only snack after that time otherwise my stomach gets this real uncomfortable full feeling and I want to vomit. Weird, huh?

Laura I too feel full in the late evening....the other night I ate dinner late with my DH......well it did not stay down. I felt awful. Hope you have lots of Fun with your Dh this weekend!! My RE said BDing was fine!! I am sure your two lil beans are doing great in there and you will see that on mon!!

laurie, your ultrasound will be great. i get nervous before mine too, so i totally understand. my symptoms have completely changed as well - i know it's freaky, but it is normal. i'm glad your dh is coming home.

miranda! yes it is bad you haven't watched it. maybe go rent season 1 and see if you like it. you have to watch them in order.

oh, and i get sick if i eat too much at night as well! i wonder what that is all about. sounds like it happens to many of us. ok girls, have a great pregnancy day!

The u/s went great! I graduated to OB, my RE gave me a great picture frame that says Our babys first Picture, with the u/s photo from today in it!! As well as some great magazines and a gift card to babies r us!!!! How great and unexpected!!! I brought them all in cookies and holiday candy today, because I had a feeling this would be my last appt!

Our baby is measuring perfect at 8wks and 3days and the heartbeat was 145, they told my our baby was sleeping, because we didnt see any movement.... So now i am going to call my ob and schedule our first appt!!!

My first OB appointment went fine yesterday. He did an U/S so I have another pic of the baby. He looks pretty much the same as he did last week, although I think his little body is about as fat as his head now. I go back in 4 weeks.

This was kind of funny-DH went with me even though I didn't know if I was getting an U/S because he wanted to see where the office was, meet the doctor, etc. Well, while I was in the examining room, my doctor realized I hadn't had a pap smear since last August, so right before doing the U/S he went ahead and did the pap smear as well. My poor DH was stuck in the room for the whole thing. I thought he was going to die. Of course, at this point, my junk has been out for the whole world practically, so I don't really get embarrassed. Hmmm....that may not be a good thing.

aww thanks miranda! i feel such an overwhelming feeling of pride looking at those pictures! it's amazing. just think, you've got TWO of those inside you.

i meant to comment on the gift your RE gave you amber. i think that is so cool. i brought in cupcakes from a really nice bakery and a thank-you gift to my RE and his nurses. i wasn't sure what to bring ... flowers, food, ? they were all squealing over the cupcakes so i guess they liked them.

First of all, Miranda, you definitely need to rent season 1 of Grey's and see if you like it because I think it's fantastic!! I never miss a week, even if I do find Lexi and Izzy to be a little annoying these days. I'm totally hooked.

Hannah, what an amazing picture!! It really is amazing how fast they grow, isn't it? He/she really looks like a little baby now! And it definitely looks like the tongue is sticking out!

Lotus, I'm so glad that your u/s went well! And I honestly think it's good for guys to see what we girls have to go through for annual exams since they think the "turn your head and cough" experience is soooo awful!

Amber, congrats on the great u/s too! Those are some seriously nice graduation gifts! I think your RE's office should call mine and suggest something like that because I walked out with nothing! How cool that they did all that for you!!

Laurie, I know that Monday seems like an eternity away, but I'm sure that everything is going great for your little one in there. Do your best to relax and enjoy the weekend. You deserve it!

I've been nervous today because I've been feeling some cramping tonight, but I can't tell if it's real cramping or just gas. I have been having really bad gas the last 2 days (sorry, TMI). Has anyone else experienced this?
