Autumn is so cute!!!! Very adorable.

Dana, I need to start working out too, but I am just so lazy and tired. I gained 47 lbs and have lost about 26 so far. I am still wearing maternity clothes because I don’t want to buy new big clothes……Oh well, I’ll get tired of this eventually and then I am hopefully motivated enough.

Alli, how is Kellen doing?

Max will be seen by an ophthalmologist next month because of his eye. I think they may have him wear an eye patch. DH said he’ll wear one too then and they can both be pirates for Halloween. I doubt that, but you never know.

Oh, I quit my job…well I told my boss I would work from home part-time as a contractor and they agreed, so this is really what I had wanted all the time. That way I still get a little pay check. If anybody has any insight in regards to working from home, like filing taxes etc, please let me know. Thanks.

OK, I better go before Max wakes up. I hope everybody else is doing well.

autumn is so cute!

Connie congrats on working from home.

Sam has slept the last two nights in his nursery, still in the bassinet, but now not in our room, which is good. it was actually hard for me! I want him in the crib when I go back to work next month.

Wow Dana - Sleeping in his own crib is a big deal. A friend of mine is having a lot of trouble with her 6 week old, so I know what big of a deal this is. I don’t know why, but from day one we put Max in his crib and he does not have a problem with it.

So, this is my last week as a SAHM. Friday I’ll go in the office to officially resign and Monday I will start working from home. I am kind of excited but a little sad as well, although I know I have the 4 hours each day when Max is sleeping I still feel like I am taking away from him. We’ll see how it goes I guess.

So, I assume everybody else is busy with their little ones these days…I hope you are all doing well.

Hello Ladies!! Sorry I have been MIA, but life has been throwing me curve balls these past few weeks. Kellen is finally doing better. He has had diarrhea for weeks, but is finally going away. We are supplementing formula and he hates it so we have had a hard time getting him to eat. His little face finally has cleared up with exception to a few spots. He is up to at least 10lb now and poss more. He has been sleeping in his crib for about 4 weeks now and he is doing wonderful with it. He only gets up once to eat at night now! I started back to work and school 2 weeks ago and I am having a terrible time with it. There are days I leave the house at 7am and don't get home until 11pm. I'm tired, frustrated, and miss my family terribly. I gave in last night and slept in the chair with Kellen on my belly. I just couldn't take another min of missing my baby. Poor DH is about to rip his hair out along with myself. I'm sure it will take several weeks for all of us to get used to the new schedule, but it is just so hard right now. Kellen cries most of the time I'm gone and once I get home he just wants to snuggle. Well, anyways, I hope everyone is doing well. I will post some new pics soon!!

Alli- I am sorry you are so stressed, it sounds so tiring! I hope it gets better. At least the little guy is doing better. You are going to school to make a better life for him, and you will be done before he knows it!

Connie- I hope working from home works for you! I still have 2 weeks left of leave and I am dreading going back. DH is going to be a stay at home dad, so at least I know Sam is in good hands.

Sam is having problems gaining weight, he is only 7lbs 11oz at 2 months, we have had a few weight checks and he isn't going down, but he is not gaining either. We have more tests next week. Now we have to feed him by bottle after every breast feeding and I have to pump after every feed, we had to do this the first 2 weeks too, and it takes so much time and energy.

Hope everyone else is well.

Alli – I am sorry you are having such a hard time. I can only imagine. But, like Dana said, you’re doing it to be able to better provide for Kellen and that’s what counts. I am glad he is doing better too! Max has been sleeping until 4 AM the last few nights, but he is staying up longer at night as well. We’ll see how this week goes, but I love itJ

Dana – I hope Sam is able to gain more weight soon. I try to pump once in the AM and once at noon to build up my milk supply and think that’s already a lot, so I hope you’re not too burned out with pumping after every feeding. Do you or DH give him the bottle?

I hope everybody else is doing well and had a great weekend. We went baby shopping today and got all kinds of things to stock up on. Lots of clothes and diapers, so we should be fine for a while.

hi

hi everyone sorry to see the hard time everyones been having.
dana-i understand your problems with the weight gain we still have it with my dd, but must of hers is reflux(GERD) related but it still sucks, she's 2y2m and just hit 25lbs. it drives me crazy, somedays i just want to die from the frustration.
thank goodness Kaevin doesn't have that problem, when i was preg i told god that if he gave me a problem to deal with i would take anything but feeding issues, being that i still have to deal with her's, i think he herd my prayer because Kaevins a PIG! he is about 15 lbs. he is now sleeping a good 7hr stretch a then a 4hr at night the last 2 nights i have gotten too much sleep.
alli- i am glad kellens face is better, but i am so sorry your little family is have such a hard time right now, but it sounds like it can only get better from here.
well gotta run,
hope everyone is loving being a mom

Well I'm officially back at work and missing my baby terribly. At least the day is going by kinda fast! This is gonna be hard to get used to. I think she knew she wouldn't see me much today because she only slept for 2 1/2 hours last night. She needed the extra mommy time!!

Connie, you are so lucky to be able to work at home. I would give anything for that!! Hope you are enjoying the day and still having enough free time for Max.

Alli- I'm sorry you are having such a hard time. Sleep in the chair as much as you can!! I hope it gets better for you.

Dana-I hope Sam gains some weight soon!! Do they have any idea why he isn't gaining any? My sisters kids don't gain much either. Her 5 year old weighs 38lbs and her 2 year old weighs 18lbs. They are both healthy kids and eat great but the weight is just not there.

Myra - Kaevin is adorable. I just bought Jaylin an activity gym similar to that and she just falls asleep laying on it..lol.

Wow, Kaevin does look really healthy….and cute too!!! He is very adorable. Max loves his activity gym too…it seems all the pictures I take of him are on it.

Bambi, I hope you’re doing better at work and away from Jaylin. Working from home is great and I get most of it done while Max sleeps so he doesn’t miss out. I am just dreading the day he won’t sleep so much.

I hope everybody else is doing well. Busy with all the little cuties I am sureJ

Bambi - I understand how you feel I started work on Monday and cried all day. It was so hard to be away from the baby.

I'm home today because the Autumn has her first cold. I had to take her to the doc yesterday.

Hey ladies!! Sounds like everyone seems to be doing well. I know what you guys mean about crying having to go back to work. It has been 3 weeks since I started school/work again and I still cry some days. I think a lot of it has to do with the fact I don't get to breastfeed as much anymore. That was really the only time I got one on one with Kellen. Things are about the same here. I failed my first 2 tests due to not having the time to study so I have cut back on my hours at work, which didn't make DH real happy. All I have to say about that is he can go you know what himself. Sorry, I know that wasn't nice. I just can't imagine he would want to pay back almost 70,000 in school loans and me have nothing to show for it. Anyways, Kellen seems to be doing better. We have switched his formula again in hopes his gas gets better and he stays a little fuller longer. That poor kid eats every 1 1/2 still. I can't believe how big all our babies are getting. Anyone thinking of Halloween yet??

Ladies, I feel so bad for you having to go back to work, but I just count myself lucky that it all worked out financially for me due to my employer working with me. I quit offering them to work from home and they could have said no, which would have put us in some trouble financially. It is all worth it.

Alli – I have been thinking of Halloween ever since we started IVF last year, but I didn’t want to jinx it and held off on the costume until now. I am a huge turtle freak so Max will be Squirt from “Finding Nemo”J

I found the costume for $8 last month, so I was really happy.

I have a week and a half left of maternity leave, I am not looking forward to returning! My DH is going to be a stay at home dad, so at least I don't have to worry about that.

I haven't really tried our activity gym, we will give it a try today!

Sam is doing well, still a little guy, they have given him lots of tests, but all are negative.

I have attached an updated picture.
