One more thing...I finally now when my shower is. I was starting to think my fam was not planning one for me. I had told my sister and mom that I did not want to be surprised but nothing was said. My sister told me today that it will me August 11. She said the my mom and MIL were having a fit that I wanted to know when it was. My bridal shower was supposed to be a surprised but since I hate surprises I anyalized everything until I figured out when it was so I thought I would save everyone the trouble this time and tell them that I wanted to know when it was. My sister respects my feelings therefor told me. If it was up to my mom of MIL, I wouldn't have found out the date!!!!

Thanks for the nice feedback ladies! I just had my appt today, check up with my new OB and he seemed great and I felt comfortable with him. I've put on 27 pounds as of today, so only two pounds over the last few weeks. It's odd because I certainly see the growth. The times I thought I didn't put on anything it was up 8 lbs this time just 2 so who knows. I don't think I should be worried, my doc didn't say anything. I think it may be because my stomach is getting squooshed and I get fuller faster, plus the heat. I think everything is going okay and I don't want to worry needlessly about that--I guess the weight gain is sporadic and not the same each week. I have an U/S next week and may ask then.
I've been considering the glider options too. I like your idea Shellie, to accomodate all of you. I'm not crazy with the looks of traditional gliders, and was leaning toward recliner or big stuffed chair, but did try out a Dutailier and boy was that comfortable! I'm hoping to be able to breastfeed but am thinking with two we might go for two regular chairs type comfy chairs if my DH is bottle feeding and I'm BF...this is where my inexperience really kicks in--I simply don't know what I'll need as I don't know what will work for us with twins. Maybe I won't be able to BF? The whole bottle thing confuses me too. Alana, I was looking into the ultimate crib sheet and found a few comments from parents saying they found their babies trapped underneath and having trouble breathing--of course this scared me, but don't know what to think. Did you hear about that? Katrina, I'm glad you found out the date for you shower and hope your furniture arrives soon! Okay, off to bed, or maybe another night of insomnia, we'll see Hope your week is going well!!

Katrina-I was half expecting to have my neice and nephews but I havent heard a word from them, and thank goodness, I love them dearly but all three are soooo busy and active! Yes I have not put up a picture yet...again as I have said before I still look like a sausage...but maybe I will have DH take a picture tonight and post it, but we will see how it looks first! Where did you get your furniture from? I am sure if you called the store and asked for them to track it they should be able to do it, you never know it may already be there and they didnt call you yet! Have fun in florida and I hate suprises too so it is nice that your sister told you.
Justine-I wouldnt worry about the weight gain if the doctor isnt worried...and I agree with the heat and the position and size of our stomachs now, especially your with twins I cannot eat as much, I was worried I wasnt eating enough and DH told me to stop worrying that my body would tell me if I needed to eat. I have a wooden rocket with a soft seat that was my great grandmothers and every child in my family starting with my grandma was rocked in it so we are going to try using that first and see how it goes, it is very comfy now but we will have to see what it is like with a baby! Hope you got a good nights sleep, but I am still struggling with it too! Anyone getting pain in their legs if they lay on one side for a certain period of time? And any numbness in the hands and fingers? I am getting super numb and it only happened when I layed on it, now it happens if I just put my hand up by my head! Oh and funny thing is when I was having all my issues the last week or so I googles (stupid I know) and came across a woman who was telling people not to put their arms above their heads because it would make the umbilical cord wrap around the baby's neck....how outragious is that? I guess it taught me to not believe everything that is posted on the internet!

I have lots of pain in my body these days.. especially when I sleep. I have a tempur-pedic king size matress and bought a pregnancy pillow and I still wake up in pain. My legs and back hurt and my arms fall asleep and get all tingly. I have had carpal tunnel for a couple of months now. My right hand remains tingly even during the day now. I don't have any advice as to how to relieve these symptoms. I think the only cure for me is childbirth and I don't want to do that just yet

I get up 2 to 3 times a night and have forever! but at least the round ligament pains are gone for now those made it even harder for me to get out of bed. I have been getting headaches around bedtime. I hope everyone else is doing okay... We may actually start on one of the rooms this weekend if I can keep dh motivated wish me luck. I will post both Victoria's room and Elizabeth's room if we ever get them done.

Amy-good luck on the u/s tomorrow...how exciting you will get to see your little girl!!! What papers are you getting? Are you going out early? I am hoping to go right up until my water breaks, lol!
Shelley & Christine-I too am having that rush to the bathroom, problem is I have a hard time getting out of bed now, I used to be able to roll over and sit right up but no more of that! Christine, glad to hear I am not the only one with that tearing type feeling, I was super worried about it at first but now I know it is normal and I get it almost every time I get up from bed! I might start working on the nursery curtain today, but I was thinking of making a roman shade but have never done one of those before so I will have to look it up and see how difficult it is, and once DH finishes with the closet the room is pretty much finished and I can put it together and post a picture! I am just in amazement that some of you ladies are in your 30th week!!! I cannot wait to get there, partially because that is when my 3D u/s is scheduled!, yaaaay!!

I didn't think the orange drink was that bad either - I was pleasantly surprised!
I have definitely been surprised at the amount of soreness you feel all over in pregnancy - I don't recall any of my pregnant friends ever mentioning it but I just feel sore and achy all over and walking, especially on my bad knees, is a chore. I told my dh that I need one of those handicapped bars beside the bed to help me get up in the middle of the night - it is becoming a challenge! I tell you one thing I am very, very sick of is this rib pain that I cannot get to go away no matter what I do - ahhh, like Shelley said delivery is the only cure and I don't want to do that any time soon so I'll just deal with it!

well insomnia set in kinda last night, i feel asleep at my normal time and slept so very peacefully until bathroom trip number 2 for the night just before 2am.....and when did i fall back to sleep - AFTER 4AM!
this is going to be a very long and exhausting day! Aedyn is having a great time, during my non sleep last night our Cat Peanut came and layed next to me putting his front paws and leaning his head on my belly......Aedyn was moving around so much - i think to hear that purring! it actually hurt for a moment and then when Peanut left, she went back to her normal spot and it hurt again! But it was really cool to know that she responded to the noise right outside and made such an effort to get closer to it.
