Fossie - sorry to hear that you failed the test - it is not the end of the world - they should send you to a nutritionist....they can give you a better idea of the ideal amount of calories and carbs per meal.
Just remember Pizza and fried foods are NOT your friends!!! Shelley - you look great!!!!!

Thanks Justine! It wasnt a big celebration really, I made a nice dinner and we rented a movie and just hung out, it was a nice alternative to the going out to dinner and having to get all dressed up...lately all I want is a pair of comfy pants and a t-shirt, lol!
Amy-how exciting about the rooms! Is your daughter going to help paint and work in the room? I helped re-do my bedroom when I was 12 or so and it was so much fun! I hear ya on the aches at night! I am lucky and dont have to go to work so I have been sleeping until 9, which is a miracle in itself!

Thats too cute about the anniversary, ironic how those things happen huh?! I bet your daughter will really enjoy working on the rooms, and being able to help out with the baby's room is going to be so special for her! Once she learns how to fix the ac have her come to my house, lol!

Too funny - when my doc said that he was expecting more around 32/33 weeks he said "somewhere around August 11th" which will be our 7th Anniversary. Initially, before we knew it was twins, we thought they might be born on my dh's birthday which is September 30th because my due date is officially October 11th. Dh just laughed and said well, no matter when they are born if it is in September there goes my birthdays!
We still haven't done much on the room and can't really until after the shower on the 19th because that is when we get the bedding and curtains my grandmother is making, the furniture my dad is making and the help to put the cribs together :-)! We are not really decorating much, no painting, so without stuff there isn't much to do. I'm just glad that the room is finally empty and ready for nursery stuff although the closet still has all of my dh's things in it!!!

Fossie- He is probably right at least for the next couple of years. LOL but you can always make it special for him.
Sarah- They will all probably have to learn about furnaces and air since dh has his own company. She already knows more about duct work and electricity then alot of kids. She will be alot better home owner then I will.

Hello Ladies-
Sorry I haven't posted- I've been reading and keeping up but still trying to catch up on rest from having the family in from out of town as well as the the baby shower. All went well- my sister did such an awesome job with the organizing, we received lots of gifts almost everything we need except the stroller and the swing and a few other small items I have on my list. The room didn't get done since the pool table is still there but I refuse to stress over it. My only complaint right now is the swelling I have on my left foot-it looks like a balloon and not fitting into my shoes so I've been wearing flip flops to work the past 2 days. You know what I'm lying-Shelley, Christine and Amy, I too am struggling getting out of bed just to use the bathroom. It feels like it takes a whole 30 minutes, lol, I have to wake DH up just so he can give me a hand getting out of bed by pushing on back. I can't believe we all have less than 3 months to go! Sarah-Are you on leave already? I'm so jealous! Amy-Hope you're enjoying yourself in NYC-can't wait to hear about your trip!

Elisa, great pictures. I love the diaper cake!! It looks and sound like the shower was lots of fun! You look good too. Your belly is really cute.
Amy, that is great that the baby is going good and a good weight. Wow Aug 30th, that will be here before you know it!!! I guess babies tend to come near special dates.... My original due date was Sept 9 and our anniversay is the 16th. Now the triplets will most likely be born the last week in July or first week or 2 in Aug. DH's birthday is July 25 and mine in Aug 7. I just might get 3 babies for my birthday!! ![]()

Hi girls, back from NYC and can I just say I LOVE that city. We had so much fun and its the most buzzy place to spend the weekend. As soon as I figure out resizing my photos I'll post a couple for you all.
As for pregnancy stuff, I've come back feeling very tired and unwell so I guess I either picked something up while away or I over-did the tourist stuff! Lol, probably over-did it as it was just so much fun walking around everywhere. I haven't seen my OB in 2 months (yep, long wait here in Canada) and finally see her on Monday. Won't be much to the appointment though as usual. Blood-pressure and doppler is about all she does. Its interesting you girls see your OB every week after 32 weeks. Its only every month until after 36 weeks here, which is concerning, but I guess unless theres problems theres not much they can do anyway. Elisa, your shower looked like fun by the way, it looks like you got a tonne of great stuff...I'm jealous over here. ![]()

Alana, it is great to hear that you had a good time in NYC. I can't wait to see the pictures!!! Rest up for a few days because it sounds like you have been really busy. Ok to resize your pictures try this....
- after your pictures are saved on your computer, right click on the file name (without opening the picture) - a menu will pop up - click on either medium or small - another smaller file will be made for that picture Good luck!
