Lol, thanks.

Oh, and I caved today and bought some plastic bottles. I know I know...not very environmental. But there was a special on the Playtex dropins at a pharmacy here so I decided I'd try them out.

My only question is whether they can be used in a bottle warmer? I'd rather not have to mess around with warming them on stoves etc. I guess I'll ask Mr Google and see what he says.

Sarah I'm in hysterics over here reading about your shoppers guilt. Lol, just tell your DH they were a gift or something. I mean, don't these husbands of ours realize our babies need to look stylish?? As for Reed being a big baby, I'm wondering about that myself. I'm thinking it might just be because I'm tall too (5' 9") or because hes having his growth spurt now. He wasn't always measuring bigger so it could just be a fluke. I mean, I'm a wee bit scared of pushing out a 10 pounder. OUCH! I personally think he'll be average weight of around 7 pounds. At leasts thats what I'm hoping!

Amy-August 20th
Sarah-August 17th
Christine - August 6th

Celeste - August 3rd
Shellie - August 11th
Jill - August 12th
Alana - August 5th

hey do we win anything if we are right??? just kidding!!!

today's nst went okay - this little one was hungry so she kept moving around!

i found out that because my blood sugars are starting to tapper off, it might be a bad sign that the placenta is not doing a good job with all the right hormones.....and over the next two weeks they will watch my blood sugar very closely and may schedule an earlier delivery ---- never thought i would pray for bad blood sugar, but i am.........at least until aug 23rd!!!

Wow, so little Aedyn may be making an early appearance? I'll keep my fingers crossed for you hun that she hangs out until August 23rd, although, whats the significance of that date? Either way, its exciting how close we are all getting to the due-date (some closer than other...Shelley and Christine ) and I'm guessing they may come faster than we all realize.

Although there are days when I think its going to take forever to get to September...until I remember this is my last few weeks of just DH and me together, sleeping when we want to etc. It makes me want to just cherish some of this time.

But then I remember that I can't wait to meet this little guy and I get impatient again!!

Alana-I am not very environmental either because I will be using the Playtex drop ins as well and I do believe you can use a bottle warmer with them, not sure about on top of the stove though. Oh and my new way of hiding baby clothes from DH is to just put them in the closet and tell him I bought it a while ago, so far he hasnt caught on but I am sure he will eventually!

Christine-crossing my fingers too that she holds on a little while longer! How exciting that she might be here earlier than thought, hmmm now maybe we should do a poll on who will deliver first, you or shelley?!

Its just mind blowing that we are at the point where some of us will be delivering soon, ahhhhhhhh!!!!!

Lol, my feelings exactly. I don't believe how far we have all come, its incredible we were all sharing 8 week u/s pics and now we're in the last trimester.

Oh, I thought I'd put this link on too as it shows the average weights of fetuses at the different weeks. It shows that your baby is not on the small size at all Sarah, hes just perfect.

Alana - Aug 23 is exactly 38 wks....it is also the day before Ethan was born last year.
I would love to make Aug a happy month, with all three of my little ones having birthday in a row.
Although Ethan and Andrew are no longer with us here. not me being picky......but Aug 23 or Aug 26 would be ideal

we'll see what God has planned for her birthday.

Alana- thanks for the link! Makes me feel better to know he is on target, and even better that he is not huge, then again he still has 10 more weeks to get bigger!

Christine-that would be toooo precious for her to be born then, and the boys are always with you in spirit! Your little girl will have two big brothers looking over her!

Wow, I can't believe it is time to guess when I will deliver the little ones!!! LOL I showed the list to my husband and he wanted me tell you girls I will have them at 36 weeks and they will weigh 6 lbs each. He has been a good coach, making me meal and telling me to get off my feet. (yes sometimes I have to be told) My goal is to hold the babies in until atleast Aug 7, my birthday. Although if I make it that far I might as well go a few more days and try to get to 36 weeks.

Today I had a nutritionist appt and she was happy with my weight gain and glucose numbers. I got a sample formula kit and gave me some advice on eating while breast feeding.

Jill those old people where crazy. It scares me to think that they are aloud to continue to drive after they have lost their marbles I like how you handled it. I actually had a man make some rude comments about my effort to park about a month ago (when I was still going out). I thought he was joking and made a funny rely but he was serious. My parking struggle really peed him off and he was no where near me, he just saw me from a distance. LOL

Alana, I know how you feel about what clothing size to buy. I orginally was sure I needed a lot of preemie clothing but the longer I go and the bigger the babies get I think I may have too many. ooops. That is great that Reed's heart is looking good!! I think he is a good size. I am sure he will be a tall, handsome cutie when he gets bigger

Sarah, I laughed when I read that you placed an order at the Children's Place. You can blame it on me if I can blame my order on you!! LOL I told DH I needed to order some pants because the babies have lots of onesies but might need to also wear pants to keep warm. haha Kind of like stocking up for the winter. Well we live in California LOL. I bought much more than pants!!

Christine that is great that you will be getting 2 showers!! I also looked at Aedyn's pictures and she is sooo beautiful. You have some really nice pictures. It still amazes me to see such detail of the little ones inside the womb. It really is a miracle. Yay for a good nst! Wow I did not know that about the placenta maybe not doing a good job. I hope it all works out for you and you can still keep your little girl in as long as you can.

hummm you girls are going for non-stress tests...I wonder if I will get one? I will ask this Thursday.

I don't have insomnia but I am up peeing almost every hour!!! I have tried not to drink water during the night but that does not seem to help. I just think my bladder has a zero compacity lately, plus my body has been retaining fluid.

Today was like Christmas with 4 packages showing up at the front door. They can keep me inside but they can't keep me from shopping online..LOL I received some glass Born Free bottles. I will also get some bpa free plastic ones if the babies like the bottles.

I also got some bottle holders. Save $$$ on Leachco Keep-It-Up Bottle Holder - KidSurplus (I know they say not to prop bottles but I have read that most Mom's of multiples do it). I also received more protein powder and new PJ's that have a neckline designed for nursing.

Has anyone found a good nursing bra? I tried all the ones at Motherhood but they did not work with my girls. I bought a Medella one and then realized that the straps were let out as long as they could go and to be more comfortable they should be longer. It is kind of strange design....hummmmm I didn't think they were hanging that low!! OMG!

Christine they told me the same thing about the levels at my last appointment when I was upset they kept going up they said they would be more worried if they didn't it is good they monitor you so closely. They have me going to a specialist every 6 weeks (didn't know he was a peri until you girls said that is what a MFM is). Plus I still have to go to my pcp for thyroid. I have probably three appointments next week. Aug. is going to be a great month for you!

Shelly- I can't see them not starting your nst I have to have them once a week starting tomorrow until I have her. Your husband is too funny.

Everyone sounds like they are really getting preparred. Oh well ready or not here they come.

Shelley-blame away!!! I will take the heat from your shopping and you can take mine, lol!

Amy-I got a variety of 0-3 and 3-6, actually a lot of them I got doubles of each thing and got the two different sizes. I am wondering though how much newborn things to get, because the wont be in them long but sometimes I see new babies in clothes that are soooo big for them, but if I buy much more DH will be taking my cards away from me!

OMG, I just checked the Childrens Place and the prices have dropped since I ordered. I still got a good deal but maybe I should order more!! I got mostly 0-3 month sizes and a couple of 3-6. I have lots of preemie and newborn sizes so I thought I needed the next size up. I got 3 stipped rompers in pink, yellow and blue, 3 roppers with little elephants on the front in pink and blue, some stripped jerseys for the boys with matching pants. I also got some onesies and pink ruffle skorts and some pants. After all that is what I was originally shopping for ~ the babies needs pants! I am tempted to get some dresses although I think little Tia will end up with more dresses than she can wear.

Lol...I almost peed myself reading this! Thats how I feel, the girls are just not the same anymore. Although thankfully I did find a Motherhood bra that I liked and is very comfortable. Although, I had bought two size C cups and last week it was a Motherhood shopping emergency as they no longer fit and actually hurt so I"m now up to a D. I hope I don't need the DD's too, what will I do with these once the girls go back to their usual size B??!!
I would think you will be having your NST soon too, surely they should do them on you more than anyone. Unless they don't read properly with multiples. I guess they would just strap on three monitors to hear the babies heartrates. Definately ask your doctor as it helps tell them if the babies are happy in there or a little stressed out.

You are all making me want to buy clothes! We haven't purchased many newborn sizes at all as I have the Baby Bargains book and it says not to bother. The babies will just be at home for most of the first month or two so wearing larger sleepers etc isn't really a problem. Still....I want to shop some more!! lol, I think I'll do some online shopping like Shelley, that should help with my fix. DH is heading out to LA in a couple of weeks for work too so hes going there with a list of stuff to hunt down and buy for Reed. He'll probably get stopped at the border and told to pay duty he'll have so much stuff!

Good afternoon all!!

Thank you all for posting and letting me know I wasn't the only one feeling the belly soreness! I had my OB appointment today along with the growth scan and I'm still in shock with some of the baby's measurements -he is measuring at 35 weeks instead of 33, (a whole 2 weeks ahead), & weighed in at 5lbs,9 oz. His mouth and nose were both pressed up against the placenta, while he was making sucking motions, almost as if he were trying to suck on the placenta, it was way too cute! This was suppose to be the last u/s but my OB says she wants another u/s in 3 weeks, if the baby is still measuring large she will schedule induction. WOW!
