<YAAWWNN> Someone be sure to wake me up if anyone goes into labor. I too have been very tired and sore these last few days. I have been taking afternoon naps. My left hip is giving me a hard time and it hurts to walk. I walk like a duck now...a very pregnant duck! LOL I keep reminding myself that i only have 2 or 3 more weeks to go!!! I am starting to get excited about seeing the babies soon. I just hope they are healthy. They were all moving around this morning so I think that is a good sign.

Yay Christine for a good nst!!

Awe Sarah, no fair!!! I haven't got my Childrens Place package yet! LOL It will probably arrive Thursday when my DH works from home. UGH!! Although I don't think he will be surprised with the package. Not the first one anyways but probably he will give me the look when the 2nd CP package comes. LOL Considering I don't leave the house anymore alone, I think I am doing ok with my shopping entertainment.

Yesterday an Arms Reach Co-sleeper arrived. Yeah. It will be great to keep all 3 little ones in for the first few months. It is the kind that you can attach to the side of the bed. I will try it and see how it goes. It also converts to a play yard. This will work great for when they are little.

Ohhh, I also received my Children's Place package yesterday! My DD & I were so excited! I ordered so many dresses & the bathing suit is just too darn cute! I ordered a really cute denim skort for my DD & she loved it! It's pleated & will look adorable on her. My DH loves the "My Daddy Rocks" onsie - of course I had to get the "My Mommy Rocks" onsie too!

I feel so sore too. I think I pulled some ligaments yesterday & now can barely walk. The pain is down really low - in the crotch area. I swear, I never had any of this when preggo with DD. Was actually thinking about calling my OB, which is something I never do by fear of sounding too needy or something. Maybe it's my pelvis opening or whatever happens down there! I almost feel like I won't make it another 5 or 6 weeks. My next OB appt. isn't until Aug. 4th. Hope I can last that long.

Shelley, I love the co-sleeper! I have friends that loved it! I didn't have any room for one but looks like it'll be so much easier than a bassinet.

My DD has a play date after camp today so I may try to get a quick nap in! Ugghh, but if I don't get her school clothes shopping done I may not have the energy to do it in a month. The kids today want to look way too hip, fortunately my DD still lets me pick out her clothes. Where we live even the girls in elementary school want to carry (and do) designer bags & wear designer clothes & have cell phones. I'm going to cringe when she comes home asking for UGGs & a coach bag!!

Have a great day! Yayyy, the much needed rain has finally arrived!

I was thinking the same thing! Guess everyone is too tired these days. Sleep is something I need to catch up on too.

You mentioned you work from home a few days a week.....what do you do? If you don't mind me asking. My DH would love for me to go back to work. I did initially after my 1st maternity leave but that lasted 4 months. Couldn't bear it. The only job I've had is in Human Resources - not really something I can do from home. Just feeling the pressures of the failing economy - needing some extra money.

Anyway, hope you're feeling well.

Shelley-you probably get away with a lot more than I do in the online ordering, you have three babies plus you are on bedrest, I have no excuses to use anymore with my DH, even the deals I get dont work with him anymore! I do however tell him I am emotional and he will make me cry so he leaves me alone for the most part! Love the co-sleeper, and how nice will it be when the babies come home to be able to have them right there with you!

Jill-my four year old students amaze me with the way they obsess over clothes! Most of the girls and even some of the boys are so worried about what they wear and not getting dirty or paint on themselves, half the time I just want to tell them they are four and allowed to get dirty! I had a whole month long battle with my girls about wearing skirts and if a girl didnt wear a skirt the other girls would pick on her! I am feeling more and more pain and discomfort, I literally could not get comfy at all yesterday and last night and this darn shoulder is still bothering me, ugh! I just keep telling myself to enjoy every minute of it because some women would do anything to feel the pain of pregnancy!

DH and I were laying in bed last night watching tv and I told him I was really getting sick of my oldest dog being under foot all the time lately, she lays by the bed, she lays by the couch, she even will go into the bathroom with me and lay there and wait for me! Dh said she probably knows I am preggo and just is keeping an eye on me, it never really occured to me and just the thought of it made me tear up, she really is the sweetest dog and it makes me so happy to know she is taking care of me in her own way!

Good afternoon ladies, hope everyone is having a great day!

I have been feeling miserable since last night, feeling stronger BH with backache and AF like cramping. We finally got the paint color picked out for the nursery and started painting yesterday and I'm thinking I may have over done it and that's why I'm feeling like this today. So tempted to call OB's office but I think I'll stick it out till Tuesday's appointment. I'm curious if these BH may at all have anything to do with thinning the cervix.

Oh Shelley, I also finally did some ordering from CP on Friday and the web code still worked then, so was able to take advantage of that, thanks a bunch! Love your co-sleeper by the way, I was considering purchasing one but a friend gave us a bassinet she only used with her son for 2 weeks, so looks like I will be using that instead.

Elisa, try resting for a while. Do very little if possible. But if the pain & BH persists call your OB. They may want to check you out sooner. We tend to overdo it when we're pregnant since things don't get done themselves. I'm the same way, there's laundry, food shopping, cooking, cleaning, etc. But you & baby are more important. That's what my DH keeps telling me. I have a cleaning lady that comes every other week, but I'm one of those compulsive vacuumers. With 2 cats & hardwood floors the dust & hair accumulates fast. Plus my DD has allergies. But then the backache kicks in & so do the BH.

When I went into labor with my DD it started out with AF cramps that wouldn't go away. After about 1/2 hour I called the doc's office & they told me to come to the hospital. Just be careful.

Sarah, I have 2 cat's, 1 male & 1 female. The male cat knows & will sometimes try to lay with me, but the female cat follows me around. She wants to lay with me especially @ bed time, she rubs her head on my belly & boobs for some reason. And she likes to lay her body across my belly like she's keeping it warm or something. This is how I knew I was pregnant the 1st time. Out of nowhere she was suddenly my shadow. She even waits literally outside the shower door on the mat for me to come out. Our pets definitely know. Even my MIL's cat who isn't too social jumped up on my lap (before anyone knew) & their eyes popped out! At the time I just told them that he can smell my 2 cat's. Oh, & my aunts dog in North Carolina who I never see was laying @ my feet the entire time in April, and would sit up to put his head on my lap. I love to hear stories about how animals respond to this stuff. We're total animal lovers! Your dog will be the baby's protector when you bring that little bundle home! She's watching out for you too. My cat still lays outside my daughter's room early in the a.m. when she's still asleep.

Maybe get your shoulder checked out. You could have pinched a nerve.

Jill

I love the stories of all the pets behaving differently now mummy is pregnant. My two lazy spaniels haven't really done anything different unfortunately, however they are totally spoilt and I worry how they will be once Reed gets here. I hope they don't feel left out. To be honest all they do all day is sleep anyway, but we've installed a couple of baby gates around the house to block them out just in case they get a bit upset. Personally I can't wait until Reed is old enough to interact with them both, I think it will be good for my old doggies to have someone new to play with.

Anyway, sorry I've been MIA. I've been going through a mini emotional meltdown the last few days and I'm chalking it up to hormones and worry. I had another pregnant woman yesterday talk to me about a friend of hers whose baby died in-utero at 7 1/2 months pregnant and I left speaking to her in tears and came home to tell DH I didn't think I could make it the next 8 weeks. I'm becoming more and more of a worried wreck!! Seriously, why do people always have to tell us this stuff?? So now of course, with all Reed's heart issues, I'm terrified his heart is going to stop and it all going to end horribly. Thankfully I'm seeing my OB again tomorrow and having another u/s so I'm going to tell him about all this and how freaked out I am and see what he says. He'll probably say I need admitting to an asylum or something!!

Alana, sometimes people don't think before they speak. Even with the best intentions. I totally don't blame you for worrying. I do too. All the time. Yes it could be the hormones, but we're not going to rest until that little baby comes out crying. At this point in my pregnancy I keep secretly wishing & praying that I have the baby earlier than my due date because of my anxiety of having her coming out perfectly healthy. This final countdown is driving me nuts! The weeks can't go by fast enough!

I actually know of people that had this happen to them years ago & while I'm pregnant it's on my mind & I pray every day that all is well.

I know it's difficult but try not to get yourself too worked up about it. You've finally found a good OB & are having consistent appointments. But definitely express your concerns to him, that's what he's there for. You definitely do not need to be committed!

Jill

Alana-I was the same way when my little one was being so still and quiet last week and googled it and wouldnt ya know it but it freaked me out more than I already was because all the links had something to do with stillbirths! So of course the whole weekend I did nothing but stress over it. I think when people see you are pregnant they just want to tell you all the stories they have, good or bad, and they dont stop to think about how it will make you feel...I am sure Reed is just fine and you are being well monitored so if there was something to worry about I am sure they would have picked it up by now. And I am sure your little doggies will be fantastic with the baby!

Jill-i am begining to think it is a pinched nerve...but they cant do anything fror it can they? I wish I had a housekeeper come in! I think I am done with sweeping and moping for the remainder of this pregnancy because I get super bad pressure whenever I do it and it is just getting worse, guess DH will be doing it from now on!

Ok I have an odd sort of question but figure someone might be experinecing the same thing...the past two days I keep getting this stabbing/aching/pinching type pain in the nether region, it is only happening so far when I lay down, anyone else experiencing this? The first time it happened I didnt think much of it but the second time I was really concerned that it was something to worry about, I just have a vision of him falling right out of me! I wonder if he is just kicking me in the cervix or something....

Sarah - I have had those stabbing pains but they usually coincide with when I feel the lower baby moving around so I have just thought she is kicking my cervix!

The worry doesn't ever end I guess - I was so, so worried about today's appointment and it went great. Both babies are measuring almost 3 pounds (2 lbs, 14 ounces each) and everything looks good so far. Cervix is still at 3.7 and all vitals are fine - woohoo!!! Measuring 40 weeks ! The spot on Katie's heart was not seen today so that's great news too!

Here are some pics from today - Tyler was being shy so his pic is the one with his hand over his face.

Shellie-you have two very cute babies right there!!! Those are some great pictures too! Is that last one the baby blowing bubbles?? Glad to hear all went well! I too think it just must be him kicking me in the cervix, it is just such an odd feeling!

so beautiful!!!!!

Jill - i am the finance director for a small non profit - i also run the IT department. most of my staff are multi functioned between both area's.

i have access to the server's from home so i can work on almost anything from here.

last year when i was on bed rest, i opted to stay on bed rest and work from home with permission from the MFM - and had my extension forwarded to the house. no one that called even knew i was out of the office.

all of our medical billing records are web-based and electronically filed.

i worked on setting up the perfect at home situation there from the day i started working there - in preparation of being able to telecommute a few days a week. which right now is nice for me and my staff. most of which are only in the office 3 days a week also. and are also able to work from home there other 2 days. with Gas prices - this is a win win for all the business department.

okay i have rambled on enough about work.

BH - is kickin my butt since monday!
i figure if i can make it 4 more weeks i am home free!!!

BTW---the lady with my resolve group.....her soon to be adopted son was born last night just after 8pm, he is 36 wks and need continued prayers as he is still in the NICU on oxygen. hopefully on saturday the birthmom will sign the papers making little Andrew Robert all hers and her DH's baby boy!!!

Alana!!!! Calm yourself sweetie!!!! Reed is perfect and will be just fine.

try picking a different hour each day and count how many times he is moving around - my perinatologist said if less than 4 have a very cold or sugary drink and start the count again, if again less than 4 go to the hospital......believe me after you have that sugary drink reed will be awake and betting you from the inside out!!!!

remember also your doppler is your best friend

YAY!! I finally got my Childrens Place package today. I got a pair of skorts too for my little Tia They are just too darn cute. I also got some co-ordinating rompers for the trio and a few other cute items.

It sounds like we are all getting to that time when our bodies hurt.... People told me it gets tough at the end of the pregnancy and I never really understood what they meant until now. Today was a good day but the last two have been uncomfortable.

Sarah, that is really cute that your dog is following you. Animals are smart and I bet they know something is going on with us. We set the co-sleeper up in the livingroom to check it out and both our cats have jumped in it. One of them even brought his mouse in it and started to meow really loud. LOL They are in for a big surprise when the babies come!!

Alana, sorry you have been worryinng. The girl should not have told you that story. What was she thinking??? It is normal to worry but people like that add extra worrying that is not needed. I think I have been watching too much tv because since it has been in the media I am now paranoid that one of my children with have autism. Here I am at 33 weeks, gradually passing the micro preemie time where if they were born they may have disabilities because they are too premature ~ and I am worrying about something that should be the least of my worries at the moment. You will feel much better after your u/s tomorrow.

Shellie, your pictures of Tyler and Mary are adorablel. They are sooo cute!! It is amazing how much detail you can see. Congratulaitons on a great appointment. You are doing so good and the babies are great weights!!! You should be proud.

My DH just told me that he found a Graco Duo Glidder double stroller on craigs list and is picking it up on Friday. woohooo now we just need a single so we can each push a stroller when we are together. It will look like less of a triplet freak show!
