Jill-hope all goes well today!
Shellie-i agree, complain as much as you want, I am finding I complain more and more and I only have one in there! I too am feeling very tired and unmotivated. Yesterday I planned on doing all the laundry and dishes and making cookies, well I got two loads of laundry done and that's it! Today I have to get some groceries and get DH a new pillow since he has been complaining for weeks now about his but I just cant seem to get up the energy to go, I got a shower and did my hair, isnt that enough? I have decided to grow my hair out longer so I can put it in a pony tail when the baby is born because I just know I wont be up for styling it everyday. Shelley-the drawer comment is too funny! I can just picture your DH trying to get the drawer out and into the car, lol! I actually have to start getting things together, like the things I have to go and buy, I know it will take me multiple trips because I can never remember everything when I go to the store, even with a list! Have a great Tuesday ladies! Oh anyone getting a sore belly? Mine has been sore on and off lately and I think this was mentioned before but just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this too, its like a sore muscle or something....ahh the joys of pregnancy!

Sarah - I had been toying with the idea of growing my hair out again after being short for so long and decided that now was a great time because they say it grows faster in pregnancy, you don't lose as much, etc. and I must say that I love, love the ease of just throwing it in a ponytail. Here is me before and now in my avatar - it really did grow super fast!
I hear you guys on the difficulty doing everyday things - I feel bad asking my dh just to do things like grab a bottle of water out of the lower shelf of the fridge but it is hard to bend! Justine, I am realizing the error of my thinking now because I too thought I could work up until the due date and then have all my leave for when the babies are here and it just isn't going to happen. I haven't had any NST's - I wonder if I should be? Shelley - I think you are right, most of the soreness and pain comes from the extra weight - I now weigh as much as my dh - WOW! No wonder my knees feel like they are going to give out everytime I stand up - I have a very real fear that I am going to get stuck on the toilet because my knees aren't going to hold me one of these times!!!!

Shellie, is that you in the picture? You look fantastic, your hairstyle is gorgeous. I seriously look a total mess, this bedrest thing means I don't bother to do anything with myself and look like a bag lady all day. I'm kinda glad DH is in LA at the moment.
Shelley, how far along was the other triplet mommy? She had to stay in the hospital for a few weeks? Wow, I'm even more impressed with how well you are doing. It also sounds like your three are double the weights of the three just born, so maybe yours won't even need to be in the NICU? How incredible would that be, you could just bring them all home immediately. I cant' wait to see pictures of all three of them in their car seats in your sedan...it cracks me up just thinking about it. ![]() Jill, good luck at your test today, I hope they find a vein nice and painlessly. Sarah, I'm unmotivated too, which is just as well as I can't do anything anyway! But I know how you feel, I think we are probably all getting to that point where we want the baby to HURRY UP and grow so we can not be pregnant anymore. I keep wondering if I eat more fattening foods Reed will grow quicker in case he is early...but really thats just an excuse for me to be lazy and eat junk food. ![]()

Shellie-your hair is a little shorter than mine in that picture so hopefully mine will grow like crazy! And I agree with alana, I love the hair!
Alana-I am sooooo bad about eating lately, I was so good about fruits and veggies and milk, etc. but lately all I want is junk, today I was bad and had a burger king cheeseburger for lunch, it was nothing but grease and cheese, but man did it taste good! The other triplet mommy was around 30 weeks wasnt she? All the babies were pretty close to 3 pounds so that is good. Ok off to check my registry...my shower is this weekend and I am patiently waiting =)

Thanks guys - I do feel frumpy now that I have completely lost any hair style but it is so much easier just to throw it in a ponytail and I bet it will be easier for the first few months with babies too. People think short hair is so much easier but not when you have to have appointments all the time for maintenance and can't really just leave it wet and go!!!
I have definitely been eating a lot of junk lately - but I am blaming part of that on work since I work at a camp and eat breakfast and lunch out here (for just another week) and eat things like today was Taco Tuesday, then you've got French Toast Friday, not to mention the days of corn dogs and fries, or chicken patty sandwiches and corn - not the healthiest by any means but it is free and tasting really good lately! I have made my dh take me to Marble Slab Creamery way too often lately - I agree with Alana, I think it is making the babies fatter so therefore I am doing it all for them :-)!

Hello ladies and again thanks for thinking of me!!
Shelley- I know it's probably asking alot because there's days we all have trouble posting with just one inside and you have three - but maybe we can at least get one simple and easy "hello" post to let us know your not in the hospital, being that our guessed dates are soon approaching. Christine-Love the nursery and also glad you shared a picture of your beautiful growing belly! I hear you with needing DH to shave the legs- sorry if it's TMI but there's days I feel like I need DH's help just getting the panties on-lol! I'm still emotional right now-probably even more should I say. I cried last night just because DH wouldn't let me put up the groceries! Bad - I know, I should be taking advantage of it for the last few weeks. Our nursery is almost complete with a few minor touches still needed. The carpet is being installed today and the amoire is also in and being picked up today. DH did such a good job with the painting! I'll try to post pics soon. Shellie - love the hair! I know I would love to have something done to mine it's so long that it stays flat on my head, I feel alittle like Alfalfa. ![]()

I know, thank goodness it's summer! I am managing to put on cropped pants/large tee shirt or a sundress and flip-flops or slip on shoes for work.. I'm thankful I haven't had to go to the expense of buying winter maternity clothes. I'm living in a few outfits right now and cannot wait to pass them along to some lucky newly pregnant lady and wear my own clothes again. Of course, I don't know if I'll ever wear my old pants again, or how much I'll return to my normal size, but I hope to.
Can totally relate to lacking motivation and half-finished mini projects: it's a good day if I can put items that need to be brought upstairs on the stairs to save a trip. Times like this it would be nice to have one floor living space. I'm trying to take advantage of those few times I feel motivated and try to get something done. At work I stay on one floor and see clients there for that day, if possible. (next day the other floor.) Even taking the elevator is tiring--it's crazy. Fossie, next week will be my first NST and I will be 32.5 wks. It's only my first and the first week of biweekly appts. From what I understand I will do that and then it will become every one week, but I don't remember when. May sound airheaded but my coping strategy throughout this pg has been pretty much week to week. I try not to look ahead and just do what they advise--I really have to pick and choose my stressors these days! If I go into labor or something comes up I know I can deal with it, but hopefully I can make it for awhile. What I learned over my summer vacation: I swear the stress of letting all the worries and every little ache and pain get to me could cause more harm to my pregnancy than any actual problem that has arisen, so far. I have to be choosy about what I stress about. Elisa, thanks for the site! I also signed up for the Playtex bottle that Sarah forwarded, but got message they are inundated with requests so that may not happen. Christine, great news on Aedyn's birthday, how exciting!!

Yeah Christine- Finally one date set! Glad all went well with your OB appointment today. I had mine today as well - no cervix check as I had thought until next week and she said if not then, then on 8/13, after growth scan, we will talk about an induction date but that it will be set a week to a week in a half before due date, so I'm estimating 8/22-8/26.

One thing that is starting to stress me out and I wonder what you ladies think of it:
The U/S tech who does my U/s--I've asked her on the last 3 visits if she could give me an image of the babies. Each time she says she cannot get a good photo/angle. It suddenly occurred to me last week that she's intentionally not doing it for some reason, power trip, passive aggressive, who knows? I love my two docs so will focus on that but it's weird. Also, the receptionist greeted me with "did you know your appt was 45 mnutes ago?" I have the appt card they gave me and that was not the case but she was really annoyed with me. Then when I came out of my appt and asked her to schedule next my U/S and NST (prt my doc) she asked me why I needed if my due date was Sept 28th--she is asking only because that dept will ask her when she tried to schedule it. I said I don't know, why don't you ask the doctor? Am I crazy or paranoid? I see all the u/s sound images that you all share and wonder why I can't get them?

Justine - sorry your Dr office is a pain. do you see an OB or a MFM?
i only see an MFM and they are wonderful, but they only deal with high risk patients....they have been known to send you back to the OB if you are not "high risk" enough for them.
