Christine, she is so, so beautiful!

Justine - I have the exact same thoughts like when I am by myself do I put them in the stroller to put them in the carseats or do I take one out and then the other, am I going to ever feel comfortable carrying both down the stairs at the same time, am I overkill setting up a complete changing, play, sleep area downstairs too so we don't have to go up and down the stairs - but like was said it will work out and we will devise plans and routines that work for us!

Sarah - I have been the exact same way - nothing thrown yet but I cry at EVERYTHING and almost everything my dh does is annoying me even though he is being so sweet.

You can add me to the exorcist list. I'm just so glad to hear you girls say you have been the same way. My DH actually mentioned two days ago that he had never seen me so grumpy. Even my poor doggies are getting yelled at! I just can't seem to switch off the temper when something annoys me...and it doesn't even have to be something serious. I blew up at one of my doggies yesterday for walking in the house with wet feet. I mean, how on earth was she to know to wipe her feet?!! So I'm a bit of a demon woman at the moment and I can't WAIT for Reed to get here so these rotten hormones can go away and I can feel calm again.

Christine, I just want to say that Aedyn is simply delicious. Her little face is so darn adorable. And look at that mop of hair!

Christine, Aedyn is just beautiful! She reminds me of my niece when she was born. I love all that hair! Feel better. Everyone I know who has had a c-section says that each day gets better. Sounds like you have a great hubby!

Katrina, your sub kind of sounds like a "space cadet"! But like you said, can't stress too much about it now. Just enjoy the rest of your pregnancy & your maternity leave with Madison. Sounds like you are missed @ your school - that's really nice.

We're allowed to get a little crazy every now & again. With everything we've been through & now @ the end of our pregnancies - we're sore, big, swollen & exhausted, I think we're entitled to lose it.

I have to get ready to take Caroline to a playdate.

Have a great day!

Jill

Christine - she is so adorable!! I call my DD Toodlebug - it's a great nickname! Stick with the breast feeding, it will happen. My lactation consultant says that babies less than 40 weeks gestation have difficulty with the breast feeding as my DD did but once they mature, they tend to do great. Breastfeeding was so difficult for me for that reason and it took forever for my milk to come in, but by the time she was 5 weeks old, it was great and such an amazing experience. Hang in there!

Alana - So glad to hear that all is well with Reed - what excellent news!! 9/7 is a great day.

Justine - You look fabulous - I can't believe you have 2 in there. ANd they seem to be a good size.

Sarah - That is too funny - although I'm sure DH didn't enjoy having a cup thrown at him. Oh those pregnancy hormones!

Elisa - I hope that all is well......

Alana - that is too funny that you mention the dogs. I caught my dh having a "conversation" with my dog telling her that "mommy" (me) wasn't trying to be mean and that I still love her! She does things like step on my belly, or snuggles up to my ridiculously itchy belly (which just makes it itch more) and I get irritated. Oh well, glad to hear others are going through the same thing!

Alana - you know the grumpieness was my first sign that Aedyn was on here way very very soon

Celeste - I will be keeping the BF going - I just need some help. I called the Lactation Consultant to see where I could go to get help.

Katrina - I agree with Jill - she sounds like a space cadet. At the same time, you have to be sure you are focusing all your energy on your little one and her delivery. Until you get back, there is really nothing you can do - except be prepared to have a plan for correction.

Thanks girls, I think she is beautiful too! She is so alert and snuggly!!! I love it.

Good afternoon ladies.

I am so sorry for not updating any sooner but no baby yet. I was kept on standby Monday....then Tuesday....then got the call that they were not going to able to get me in this week so now officially scheduled for 9/3. This week has been so crazy being that DD's started school. DH had taken this week as vacation too and finally called work yesterday to see if he could return today and save the last few days for next week. Anywho, I've got plenty of posts to catch up on so gotta get started reading.

Thanks girls for making me feel like I am not the only one who is going into hormonal rages! I was so afraid you ladies would think I was a total nut job! But all is well today and hopefully that is the last exorsist moment I have! I am beg. to feel like this little guy is not going to wait until the end of September...I dont know how I feel this way but I just do....knowing my luck though he will be overdue!

Elisa-guess he must be nice and cozy in there! The 3rd is not so far away, how exciting!!!

Katrina-I know exactly how you are feeling! But as a former substitute the whole Penn State thing is pretty funny! But like the others have said that the only thing you can do about it is focus on yourself and the baby for now and when you go back you will have to probably start at square one and just pretend like it is the first day of school...all will be fine I am sure!

Hope everyone else is doing well and feeling as good as they can!

Love the photos Christine, the middle one is especially adorable! I also like hearing about your newborn/BF experiences as I will be there soon and am anxious about it turning out well.

Sarah, I hear you...you should just share that with DH, that you're overly emotional, I'm sure he'd understand and would feel closer just talking with you about it. I found myself quite short-tempered last night with DH--being a bit critical, which wasn't nice. I've been feeling bad today thinking about it. We just are anxious, wanting things to be in order for the arrival and he really has been working hard in preparation, so think I hurt his feelings.
I think we have to let go of everything has to be perfect (well I already have, but I'm still mad at myself at times for not having it all ready.)

Katrina, geez, your sub is really starting off with a bang. Let's hope she gets it together in the meantime, for everyone's sake.

Shellie, good to hear I'm not alone with these stressful thoughts. We WILL figure it out, you're absolutely right.

I'm starting to get over my nervousness and feel a bit excited to delivery, believe it or not! I'll likely never do this again so want to enjoy it if possible. It would be nice to not have to recover from a section, however crazy to think I could be sent home Tuesday with two little ones!? I have to remember how exciting and fun it will be too, I seem to discount that aspect and focus on the potential negatives. That has got to change!

I wonder how Elisa is and how Shelley is managing?

Well, I spent 6 hours last night having serious cramps on & off. I would fall asleep & they would wake me up, then I was dreaming about it! Didn't wake up my husband, but thought I would end up calling my OB. Then kept saying, if it happens again, & again, etc. Finally subsided @ 6:00 a.m. This is how labor started with my DD so I thought this was it. Plus I had this dulling backache @ the same time.

My mom is too funny, I was just telling her about it & she's running around getting their stuff completely packed & saying she's going to kick herself for not leaving on Wednesday. Guess that's the way it works. But if it starts happening again I'm going to call my OB. Darn, I was so hoping that this was it!

Will keep you posted. I was going to turn the computer on last night to grab someone's # to text if I ended up in the hospital. Will have to print up the list.

Ok, have to run to take my DD to get her haircut & I promised her a quick trip to the toy store.

Everyone keep feeling good. Have a great day!

Jill

Celeste - those are two big, healthy sized babies - woohoo! I can imagine that you don't think it is feasible to last much longer. I don't think mine are anywhere near that big and I am definitely to that point. We are huge Vanderbilt fans and the first football game was last night and they weren't showing it on our cable so we had to go out to watch it and I have never been so uncomfortable! No contractions really or anything like that, just huge and itchy and with everyone touching me telling me how hard my belly is and how it looks like I am ready any day I just wanted to come home and crawl in bed!

Jill, I know pains aren't fun but so exciting that things are moving along and that your mom is making her way to you!
