Thanks for the updates Christine. I will definately be praying hard for Elisa and Rene that he gets to go home with his mommy very soon.

Jill, good luck tomorrow hun. Just think, Corinne will be in your arms very soon.

Amy, it sounds like you had a wonderful delivery. I really hope thats how mine goes on Sunday/Monday. Knowing my luck it will be the complete opposite! Do you have any more pictures of Victoria that we can pour over??

OMG, Elisa, my thoughts and prayers are with you and Rene. The news of the difficult birth brought tears to my eyes. I pray that your little baby grows strong and that your family is healthy and together soon.

Jill good luck today!!! Try to absorb every minute of this special birthday! The day does go by fast.

Jill your gorgeous Corinne will be in your arms by now. I can't wait to hear all about the birth and see pictures of her.

Elisa, thinking of you and Rene. I hope you are both doing okay.

Shelley, hows life in the momma lane? Are you getting any sleep? Any more pictures?? I bet you're an old pro at this parenting thing now and can give us all lots of tips. Thanks also for the reassuring words about the induction. I'm just so emotional these days I'll probably burst into tears if one of the nurses comments on me being induced early. I'm really hoping the nurses I get keep their opinions to themselves. DH seems to think they'll be different on the day and has said if they do say something he'll have a word with them himself. So that made me feel better.

Christine, hows the beautiful Aedyn doing? Keep us posted on Elisa won't you, I'm very worried about her and her little boy.

Hi Ladies!

It has been a tough week but wanted to let you know that my girls, Esme and Delia, arrived on Sept 1st in the evening at 36w1day. I had some complications and was discharged just yesterday after being admitted on Saturday for induction due to preeclampsia, that part alone took 2.5 days. I ended up needing 2 blood transfusions, it's been very rough. I'm okay now, but do need time to recover.
Good news is that today we were able to bring the girls home; they're very small, yet healthy now after treatment in the nursery. We really have our hands full now and I don't know when I'll be able to catch up with you all and read all the posts, just didn't want you to worry. I will give details of girls and photos, etc., as soon as I'm able. Thanks so much for your support! I am thinking of you all and wishing you all the very best.

Sleep??? HA, what is that? LOL Here are the little boys together. The flash makes them close their eyes. I will try to get another with their eyes open. They are growing and becoming alert and making faces and sounds. Each day is amazing. They like their Wubanub stuffed animal pacifiers. They look so big in their little mouths!

Shelley I'm in love with your little boys. The picture of the three of them makes me want to kiss all three of their chubby cheeks. And I guess the sleep deprivation must be pretty hard..although, having not slept more than a couple of hours each night the last few months I'm guessing pregnancy helps prepare us all for that. Do the boys like to be near each other? When one cries do the others join in? I still think you should do a show like 'Jon and Kate'...then we wouldn't have to bother you with endless questions. lol

Justine, sorry to hear you had a bit of a rough time, but thats such fantastic news your baby girls are now home with you. Enjoy your time together and post when you can. We'd love to see pictures of the girls.

Sarah, can your DH give me a footrub too??

I can't believe Sunday is almost here either. I'm hoping they won't have to bump me until Monday or Tuesday, but I guess if they do its because they're under-staffed and busy which is not a good time to be induced. But either way its happening in the next couple of days and it still all feels very surreal. I'll be on here tomorrow and Sunday morning for sure...and then I'll be sure to text Christine with the news.

Alana...I can't believe how close you are to holding Reed. I am starting to get VERY impatient as everyone is getting to hold their babies!!!

Shelley...your boys are just SO cute and I love those pacifiers. I bet they love being close to each other like that. It is still so hard to believe that you had THREE babies inside of you!

Justine...glad you are doing OK after your blood transfusions and all. Glad your girls were healthy and you were able to take them home.

Sarah...I'm jealous, I want a foot rub. I think I will go ask for one right now

Elisa...anxious to hear how you and Rene are doing.

I had an OB appt today...nothing too exciting. They monitored Garrsion's heart rate for 20 minutes or so. I had the Strep B test and then a vaginal exam...nadda. No dilation, nothing. If I wasn't having a c-section I would probably be the girl who went until 42 weeks...lol.

Get to go back weekly, so at least I have something to look forward to!

Hey all - wow, there is a lot going on around here right now! Congrats to all who have welcomed their babies and I'm doubly happy for those who have got to bring them home! Elisa, you are definitely in our thoughts and prayers!

I think I am being discharged today but the babies will have a while longer. They are doing ok but we just have some milestones to meet first like Tyler is still not breathing completely on his own but is doing good, they both need to learn to suck, swallow and breathe consistently from a bottle, maintain their temperature and start gaining weight, and they are both jaundiced and going under billirubin lights today. We anticipate about 2 weeks and Katie will probably come home first with Tyler hopefully not too far behind.

Everyone continue to keep us posted - I will post pictures when I get home and am able to get them uploaded. All my best laid plans for packing, etc. didn't materialize so I don't have the cords for uploading here and nobody that I have sent to my house can seem to find them!
