Wow Shelley, I can't believe we were wrong...either way it's a blessing!

It's amazing how you say you thought from the beginning it was 2 boys and 1 girl, and how a mother's instinct is right so early on. I too actually felt all along that it was a boy and my sister reminded me of something last night in one of her e-mails that brought me to tears so I will share with you all:

I've attended many baby showers over the last year and they usually give out keepsakes from the showers so I don't know who's shower I got it from, but one that I brought home was of a cross and in front of the cross was a baby boy being held in God's hand. I left it out in the living room to look at and told my sister that this was the lord speaking to me and telling me I would get pregnant and we would have our boy. God is awesome and it's amazing what he does when you have faith in him! This was last summer, so I had forgotten about the keepsake and can't find it anywhere now.

Shelley congrat's on the 2 princes and one princess, I am so happy for you!!

Congratulations Shelly...how exciting! We might have all guessed wrong but we got the two of one and one of the other gender correct at least. You have one little princess in there to dote on and two brothers to keep an eye on her. Aren't boys meant to be easier? I think you have the perfect combination there. The photos are cute too, the first one looks like they are staring right at us. The last one has their little arm and leg in the air? That must be Jumping Jack.

Sarah, I chuckled at your comment about the 'one extra' baby Thats too funny, finding three was probably enough of a surprise, I think there must be a relief theres only three in there! lol. By the way, have you used your doppler lately? I've been very naughty and having a quick sneaky listen every morning. I only do it for a second, just to confirm they are still there. Its just so reasuring to hear it.

Elisa I love that story. I have always believed in signs and things being shown to me before it happens. And your story is further proof. I have not had signs for this pregnancy about the gender...not one vibe or anything. I am ever so slightly suspicious they might be a girl, but thats only because of that stupid heart-rate myth that doesn't work anyway. DH thinks a boy so I really have no idea. I guess it will be a true surprise when I have my next u/s. Not for a few weeks yet...so who is having theirs next? I need something to keep me occupied in the meantime. I'm addicted to u/s pictures!

Alana-yes I have been bad also...but I waited two days this last time and the little stinker does not like it and constantly moves, so about the time I actually hear the hb he moves and I usually don't get a good reading. Like this morning the first reading was 195 but the other one was 153 or so....my DH has threatened to send it back! And I agree it is reassuring! especially when I hear the movement and I think even some kicking because every now and again a loud thump noise happens and I think it's the little one telling me to leave him alone! Can't wait to actually feel the movement!

Elisa-what a great story! It gave me chills! I think there are no coincidences just signs that tell us of things to come. I have a related story, my aunt made me some pisanki eggs (wrong spelling I am sure) and they are wax coated eggs that you can paint pictures of things you want to come to you on them, well she painted a rooster or hen, which is a sign of fertility, and gave them to me last October and told me to rub them every day and when they broke then I would get pregnant, well I rubbed and rubbed and finally one broke and the very next night another one broke. I thought "Okay this is it, it's going to happen." Well then I waited to get my BFP, and it didn't come, and didn't come, and I was worried they wouldn't work, well it may have taken it's sweet time to work, but it did work, I just had to be patient. If it is meant to happen it will, just maybe not when we would like it to. We just have to have faith, like you said!

Congrats Shelley! I can't wait to hear names!!!!!

Alaina & Sarah I am beginning to be an addict too. After finding it on Sunday I was going to wait a week. Well then I decided to use it on Wednesday ( I was feeling really crampy and a co-worker had a miscarriage .....) so I wanted to use is for reassurance and I found it with in seconds! And then DH is working late tonight so I have been sleeping on and off between watching TV and was getting lonely so I just listened to hear my little one and I found it immediately. I mean I placed the doppler in the exact spot right away!!!!!!!! It such an awesome sound!!!!

Christine you on to week 21!!!!!

I have my gender scan in 2 weeks 4/13!!!!

I hope everyone has a great weekend!

long post again - sorry I have that rambling emotional feeling

Thanks girls for the congrats. DH and I have been really excited. We have been cautiously optimistic about this high risk pregnancy. Each successful week that goes by is like a miracle. Sometimes I think the pregnancy is going too good to be true. A couple of nights ago I was brushing my teeth and I swear I felt a baby move. I have had feelings before and wondered if it was a baby moving but his felt much different. I was not a stretching feeling or cramp or gas or ache. It happen so quickly and then a few seconds later it happened again. It wasn't a flutter, it was quick, like I was getting poked with a finger from the inside. Who knows if it was a baby but it was a new feeling and it was in the spot where Jumping Jack is positioned!! LOL Seriously.

Elisa, I love you story about the baby boy being held in God's hand. There are signs and I do believe they are there for a purpose. Some people do not see them, others chose to ignore them and for some they lead them in the right direction.

When I was a little girl I played with dolls all the time. I loved baby girls and wanted to have one of my own. I told my Mom that I was saving my money in my piggy bank to buy a baby girl. My Mom told me that I did not have to do that, because one day when I got older I will realize I do not have to buy babies. I have thought about that many times over the years, little did I know that, in a way, I would be buying a baby in the future. (in an indirect way, because we did have to buy someones eggs and pay for ivf)

The feeling that I was pregnant with 2 boys and a girl goes back to the day of the transfer. We were originally going to transfer 2 embryos but we found out at the last minute that there were only 3 that survived. We had to make a quick decision to transfer 2 and waste 1 (it would not have survived the freeze and thaw) or to transfer them all. Without blinking we decided on the 3.

We were given a picture of the embryos and I put it in a place, where each morning I looked at the embryos and prayed that they would grow. When I looked at the little fragmented one I thought 'that is my baby girl', so fragile but yet a fighter to have made it to blasts. Crazy I know. I had heard that day 5 blasts typically result in more boy births than girls. There are also many boys in DH's family. So the odds were with us to have all boys.

When we found out we were pregnant with triplets the doctor talked to us about reduction. Not only was it not an option as for as we were concerned, but I thought NO WAY that one being reduced, could be my baby girl, the weak embryo that could have been left behind. DH and I just felt like there was a plan for us. There is no way to know if that 3rd embryo was the girl but it was a feeling I had from the beginning. Somehow I just knew that there was going to be at least one boy so that concern never crossed my mind and, believe me, I really wanted a boy too!!!

It sounds so silly but that is how I felt all along!

Shelley-what a great story...getting a little teary eyed over it actually. It must have been a mothers intuition! And I think you must be feeling the little ones...you are within the normal range for feeling it, and even though this is your first pregnancy you have three in there and I am sure it is getting cramped already, I bet you felt Jumping Jack! How exciting!

Katrina-my DH is gone this morning and I too am very tempted to use the doppler. Isn't it amazing to be able to find it so quickly now, especially after the frustration of trying to find it for 10 minutes and not finding it just a couple of weeks ago, that little hb is just amazing!

Hi my name is Sarah and I am a doppler addict! I have used twice today, once yesterday, and another time on Friday. I need help!

And while I was using it I def. felt something, I know it was probably gas but in my dream world it was the little bean kicking me back for bugging him so much. Anyway hope everyone had a good weekend, tomorrow it is back to the grind!

Anyone else experiencing preggo brain?????? I showed up 15 minutes for religious education classes that I have been teaching since September because I thought it started a half hour later than it did. I was really embarrassed!!! At least we are telling people now so the director was very forgiving!

I have actually just been extremly emotional and crying at the drop of a hat. I can't seem to get over feeling sad alot of the times and it has been worse the last couple of days. I don't know if it is worse because dd is turning 10 and trying to stretch her boundries (nothing horrible just things to stay on top of like reading points at school). I get up everyday and don't want to leave the house. Sorry to be such a bummer. I am so happy really that I don't understand why I am so sad. I know it makes no since. Thanks for listening to me ramble.

Either you girls are normal or we have all 'lost' it.

I have had prego brain for a long time. I think it actually might be getting a bit better, but at one point I could not even type without making stupid typos or grammer errors. I have caught myself putting milk in the cupboard and crackers in the fridge. I walk into a room and forget what I was going to do.

My sneezing and runny nose has turned into a cough and sinus pain. I was up last night for over an hour during that time I felt sad as well. Maybe because I was tired...I am not sure why? The pregnancy has been going great and so is everything else in my life. Sometimes I get sad over little things that normally would not bother me.
