It's the hormones! Actually funny thing happened when I was reading the symptoms of the fourth month to DH, and he laughed at the one about irrationality, when I asked him why he was laughing he said it was nothing, well I got mad and insisted he tell me, but he wouldn't so I cried about it...hello why would I cry over that?! I think it's pretty normal to get sad because of all the hormones...I cried over a joke on a comedy special too...it just made me super sad for some reason. And the preggo brain for me is here to stay, I have had it since the 5th weeks or so. And Shelley, I think my runny nose is going to last the whole pregnancy, it's still here and no signs of going away. I am actually home sick today, went to work, had some m/s or just sick and a temp so I got sent home. My assistant had the flu and bronchitis so I am sure I got something from her or it's just the beg. of morning sickness for me, oh yay!

Larklynn-We have picked out a girl name, Lillianna Jospehine Jane, the lillianna for DH grandman Lillian, and Jane for my grandmother's middle name, and DH name is Jospeh so I liked being able to incorporate his name in there...for a boy I always loved the name Jackson, but I told DH that if it is a boy we will have to see what we both like...so it will be interesting to see what body parts we see in May! what other names are you thinking of girls? Shelley-you are going to have a blast, three names and three middle names, how exciting. Can you imagine though having 6 like john and kate plus 8...I would just flip open the baby name book and point to some and see how they come out, lol!
So I am wondering what the very first movements feel like, because I swear I am feeling something, especially when using the doppler and I am almost positive it is not gas...so ladies what are you feeling, what have you felt with past pregnancies?

Sarah that is so funny we are thinking Jackson Dean or Samuel Dean. The kids like Jackson better. Girls we are thing Victoria Denise, Tabitha Denise or Janelle Denise.
It is really hard to describe the first movements I think I have been feeling him for awhile but it is so infrequent and quick although I feel the same type of feeling at different points through out the day. What are you feeling. Sometimes it feels like a little wave sometimes like a light poke for me.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one on the crazy emotional roller-coaster. I cry about everything and am constantly feeling down and sad. I guess it must be the hormones...either that or the shock of finally having what we always wanted actually come true, and the constant worry in the back of the mind that something could go wrong. Its probably the hormones though.
As for movement, I haven't felt anything yet. My MIL told me it would probably feel very light, like a feather or finger tickling from the inside. But to be honest I'm so bloated these days I'm not sure I'd notice even if it was happening. Until they are big enough to give me a wallop I'm guessing I won't feel anything until quite late. I'm not very observant when it comes to symptoms. As for names, DH and I had four narrowed down for awhile. For girls it would be either Avery Grace or Eliana Grace (Elli Grace for short) and for a boy Mason Alexander or Reed Alexander. My DH really loves Reed so I'm guessing that would be our first choice. I'm sure we'll add to the list but these are our favourite so far. It was hard enough coming up with those names, I can't even imagine how hard its going to be to come up with three. Shelly, have you shortened a list down yet??

Alana- I think the hormones make our fears even worse.
Everyone has such cute names I can't wait to know for sure what we are having. I still have over a week until my next apt. on the 9th and he didn't schedule an u/s for that time!

Cheers grils to pregnancy hormones!! We shall get through this. DH has been so great to me but yesterday after talking to MIL about the baby shower ideas, he said that I change my mind so much, I am on my own!! The short story again .... is that MIL wanted to host a fancy, catered (with a server) garden party, I wanted it more casual so I could put my swollen feet up and eat pizza, she than wanted to host it at a tea house....seriously. It sounds like a neat place but not for a 28 week pregnant women with triplets who could easily go into preterm labor. The average gestation for a triplet birth is 32-33 weeks. The chairs are hard wood, I don't drink tea - especially in the afternoon and I am not a big fan of tiny sandwiches or pasteries. (I am picky, I know)
So we decided on a more casual get together at her house. She kept saying to herself and us 'yes I can do casual but I will have to tell everyone it was your idea because they will be expecting more from me' (like it would be a far stretch for her.) She is wonderful person and explain how much she loved me and wants to spoil me. I am just so worried that I might physically be uncomforable and unable to eat anything at my own shower. After we agreed on a casual shower and MIL left I said to DH, maybe I should just let her do it her way, it will make her happy. That is when DH took a deep breath and said that I was on my own...he is out of it. LOL (he did speak to his MIL on my behalf about what I wanted which helped me break the news to her again..)

I'm in with you all, emotional at even commercials!
I enjoying hearing all the baby names you girls have come up with!!! Alana-I "LOVE" the name you have for a girl -Eliana Grace, Eli Grace for short now I'm hoping it's a girl you have just so you can use the beautiful name!! Sarah and Shelley-Thanks for sharing your stories, loved them!! Movements? I have felt the baby move alot more often now usually after I eat dinner, must mean he's content with the food, lol! I skipped purchasing a heart monitor because I read that at 18-20 weeks you can hear the baby's heartbeat with a stethoscope. My sister's an RN so I will be borrowing one from her as soon as she makes it back from vacation. I'm looking forward to it!! As for baby names, my dh has always been surrounded by women growing up as well with in our home and he wanted very much to have a son named after him and I think he deserves it so "Rene" it is. I'm thinking of Nicholas as a middle name. So whose got apppointment dates?, I think it would be nice to start tracking the gender scan dates coming up!

You girls have some great names picked out. Lillianna is a really pretty name. I always liked Lilly but DH has a cousin named Lilly.
We really need to brain storm about names. We wanted to find out the sex of the babies before we put too much time into the process. For a girl we haved like Tia. Then DH thought that Tiana or Tianna would be nice and we could shorten it to Tia. Then came the discusion on how to spell it and pronouce it. I like it spelled Tiana, TEE-ANN-A like Diana, he likes Tianna, tee-AHN-ah. (more proper, I guess) Oh brother!! I checked online and both ways are acceptable! Boy names are going to be tough. We kind of like Aiden and Luke but we have a ways to go before deciding..... Jumping Jack will not be called Jack because DH read a story about triplets and the little boy called Jack died. I envy you girls who have decided on names!!! Oh as far as middle names they will be Paul after DH's Grampa, Gerald after my Grandad and Dad and Beatrice (Bea) after my Mother. The middles names probably won't should great with the first names but we really want to included these family names. Awe, I can just see it now ~ little Princess Tia Bea ![]()

Tia Bea is so cute. Our nickname for dd is actually not even close to her name. We have called her Sugie since she was a baby (Sugar Pie) with a name like Elizabeth we thought we would Call her Lizzie and some of our family do but not us Sugie or Elizabeth. We have one part of our family that went through calling her Queen Elizabeth becaus alot of dh family really doted on her (and they would say if it was Queen Elizabeth...) My baby girl is 10 today sorry double digits and teenager. Im tearing up again. Jacob and this baby aren't aloud to group up they have to stay my babies!!!!
Rambling again

Shelly- glad you were able to talk to your mil and it sounds like everything is working out. I like the boys names too. Boys names are so much harder for me to figure out.
Elisa- that is so sweet that your dh wants him named after him!

Well my movement feelings are odd, if feels kind of like I have a big bubble in my belly and then it almost feels like marbles rolling around...I guess I could describe it better but it is hard. Maybe it is gas but every now and then I feel something and it just feels like the baby moving. Oh and the oddly enough I am having trouble finding a steady hb, I think he has gone into hiding to keep me aways, lol. Makes me nervous but I still hear the moving sounds so I feel better when that happens.
I just love all the names! I was watching this show about a baby who was born and the parents let him pick his own name, they had three narrowed down and said each one and on the one name the baby kicked and kicked and was moving so that was his name...a little unconventional but interesting! SHelley I am sure the names you pick out will go beautifully with the middle names. And you should def. go with whatever shower you feel comfy with, it is after all about you and your babies, and while it's sweet to consider your MIL's feelings you need to go with what is right for you, good luck in your decision, again indecision is another symptom of pregnancy for this month in our pregnancies. Larklynn-I was almost a Victoria, but I can't see myself as a Vicky. Love those boy names too. Alana-I love Mason and Reed is a neat name and not too common, which is nice. But my mother named all of her children names that weren't all to common and they ended up being the popular names that year. My gender scan is in early May, so counting down the days. And our backup girl name is Sophia Mae. Oh and I just noticed I spelled a name wrong it should be Josephine...this pregnancy has effected my typing and spelling skills I guess...thank goodness for spell check!

Sara that is funny you said that because I have already told my mom that we aren't calling her Vicky because she kept saying how about Vicky Jean after cousin. I told her no we would call her Victoria or Tory and her middle name would be the same as my moms that made her so happ she didn't nag about nicknames again.

I looooove the nickname Tory! I think I secretly am planning on looong names because I never could have a nickname with my name. Horrible I know for the child, being a teacher I see all these poor kids trying to learn how to write and spell their looooong names and swore I would name my child something short, good intentions I guess, my little bean can learn how to spell their nickname first then!
