If you saw our last name you would feel so bad for Elizabeth Selene think long and Polish last name ending in icz. but no one had a problem so don't let that discourage you. I know what you mean I was one of many Amy Lynn's my last name was difficult too though so... I take that back I still ended up with nick names is it possible to shorten Amy? oh wait some people made it longer some made it shorter and some used my last name. LOL

Sarah I love nicknames too. Even though Eliana is similar to my name, mine was never compatible with a nickname. So I love the fact if I can't be bothered saying 'Eliana' I can just lazily say 'Eli'.

As for the boy names I personally prefer Mason, but DH loves Reed and I kind of think maybe he should have the final say with a boy. Silly do you think? I just know he has very strong opinions about boys names, how they will sound when they are men etc. I guess its good though, hes thinking ahead into the future when they will be a man working etc. He thinks its a presidential name. I think hes crazy! lol

I'm jealous of you girls feeling movement. Honestly, I can find the heartbeat very quickly but I haven't felt so much as a gas bubble. You know what has happened though, I came downstairs on Saturday night to watch a movie with DH...when he started looking at me funny. I asked what was wrong, he said turn on the light, then got me to turn around. And sure enough...a bump has appeared! I didn't even notice! (told you I wasn't very observant!) Anyway, its not big but its definately there. If I was wearing summer clothes instead of the sleeping bag jacket I am still schlepping around in you could probably tell.

Guess I should hurry up and buy those maternity clothes I've been avoiding!

I love the name Eliana...my DH and I have had that name pinned down for almost 4 years, but we had a boy last time. Maybe we will get to use it this time. We have NO boy names picked out...I guess we are secretly hoping for a boy.

Lol...Elisa you were right...it came out of nowhere! I'll post a pic when I can. The crazy thing is its much bigger at night than in the mornings, anyone else find that? I'll post my nighttime pic and my morning pic and you can see for yourselves. Just have to figure out where the heck I saved them.

It is a lovely name isn't it Tracy. I hope we both have girls now...so we get to use it!

I really like the name Eliana too! It is very pretty and I like the short form of Eli. Alana, it will be interesting to find out what you are having. I bet it is a girl!!

I thought my bump was gradual until it really popped out and then it was like it was over night. It was probably because of eating more I got some soft extra stuff on my belly first and then the hard bump came. My bump is always there but it looks different depending on what I am wearing. Yesterday I was wearing a hoodie and my DH and MIlL said it did not look like I was pregnant. Truth is I looked like a fat person in a baggy jacket. LOL My tummy starts quite high up now, right under my breasts.

My ribs have been hurting. The babies are too small to be up that high. Do you think it could be my internal organs moving up?

Shelly I would say thats what it is. You will probably start getting short of breath now too as you will experience everything quite a bit earlier than the rest of us. My MIL was a nurse and she likes to let me know what symptoms I have to look forward too!

Anyway, heres the wee bump in the afternoon. (I want all of yours after this) I read somewhere that in the mornings our spines are stretched out more so we are all an inch taller or something. Maybe thats why it grows during the day? Either that or pregnancy comes with a tonne of gas!! lol

Alana-how cute is that baby bump?! How exciting...have people been asking you or staring at you?? I think that must be one of the coolest things about being preggo is the bump...proof of the growing one inside!

larklynn-it must have been a trend to name girls Amy Lynn...seriously know like 5 people named that...how funny. Yeah I got weird nicknames because like you there isn't any way to shorten Sarah!

Sarah, the weather has been so horrific here I honestly don't leave the house without about 10 layers and a large puffy jacket. So no-one could tell even if I were 9 months! Come summer I guess it will be obvious we all are pregnant. Can you believe we are all going to be our biggest when the weather is at its hottest?! The air-conditioning is going to get a thorough workout at my place this year.

Oh, Shelly it looks sadly like this job may not happen after all. We are definately moving to CA but it might not happen as soon as we hoped. We are pretty bummed but DH is looking for something else immediately so keep your fingers crossed one of them works out.

How's are you girls doing on weight gain? I finally stepped on the scale and have officially gained 10lbs, + the 10lbs from the stims. I am a little scared because I have heard from many who have had boys that they gained 40+lbs, one friend even gained 75 lbs with her one boy.

Lol...actually I'm just completing my second and last year of an interior design diploma this coming month. It was the natural next step from my obsession with all things home decor. Its made my DH happy too, I have an outlet for it all now. Before I took the course our poor house was rearranged and the colors changed almost weekly. It drove DH crazy.

Elisa, I didn't actually know my pre-pregnancy weight, I refuse to have a set of scales in my house. Too depressing! My OB took it at my appointment two weeks ago so I guess I'll know how much I gained at my next appointment. I also didn't know boys meant you gain more. Typical...men torturing us before they are even born! lol. I can't wait to see all your bump pictures too. We should keep a running log of them. So...whose next??

Alana, Thanks for sharing your photo...you're big, I can't believe you didn't notice it. I'm about that big with twins. I'm glad you mentioned the change in time of day because in the morning I feel much smaller and have got that thought that something is wrong in the back of my mind. By evening it seems higher up, but really does seem to fluctuate. PS, your home looks divine!

I am excited to report I did buy some maternity clothes last Friday and can finally feel more comfortable at work. One thing I've been experiencing is fatigue and faintness, esp at work. I work part-time and it's flexible so was able to leave and go in an extra day but after 2 hours I feel so sluggish. Could also be the environment: it's a nursing home and temperature is 80 degrees on the floors and some rooms more. My boss came over to me the other day and I had to interrupt and ask if we could sit down to talk. Also, have felt sad/depressed at times, oddly enough, and not for any reason. I haven't cried yet though, or lashed out at my husband. I was hoping the second trimester would bring that famous energetic time of the pregnancy, because I sure have to get things done in preparation of the babies.

Next week gender scan!!

Alana-I bet you both are excited because the baby's room will now be done by a professional...."Mommy". I can't wait to see what you do with the room!

Justine-Yea, your next for gender scan! What are you hoping for or better yet what are you thinking they may be one of each, 2 girls or 2 boys? I have an u/s scheduled for the same day but the u/s tech told me my OB may not want to do another since all the organs were already seen as well as gender, so we'll see!!
