Too cute Shellie, and how cool that you will get an u/s every time!

So I am safely in NC, and the baby seems to have done pretty well...I checked the hb thursday when we stopped and stayed in a hotel, and last night when we finally got here, both times it was in the 140's so all is well. But we got stuck on I81 in Pennsylvania for an hour and a half!!! WE seriously moved less than 3 miles, and the whole time I had to pee so bad it made me cry! But we were finally able to reach an exit and make a potty break and get around the horrible accident that I guess caused the delay. But I have to say the trip went better than I thought, it took us a few extra hours but it was not that bad. Does anyone remember that store that someone posted a link to a few weeks ago that has stores all over, the second hand one, there is one down here somewhere and I wanted to check it out. If anyone remembers please post it, thanks! Anyway girls I am off to pan for emeralds, DH is set on going to this emerald mine where you can look for them. How fun! I would rather go shopping! Oh and before I go last night we had to make a WalMart run and DH made a comment about how we didn't need all the stuff we got, yeah I totally broke down sobbing in the parking lot! All these people were just staring at me, I seriously could not stop, darn the hormones!!! Hope everyone has a good weekend, sorry for the long post just feel like I have been gone forever, and it's only been two days!

Sarah, I ham happy to hear that you safely got to your destinaton, baby and you are well and you are enjoying your trip. I cry at the silliest of things. Sometimes I catch DH off guard and then he remembers...'oh yeah, my wife is pregnant!'.

There are two second hand stores that we have mentioned here, one is Children's Orchard and the other is Once Upon a Child. Good luck and have lots of fun!!

Sarah I can't wait to go to that store either. I'm just patiently waiting to find out what gender they are before I go on the big spending spree.

Ugh...but right now we are looking at the horrors of maybe selling up and renting for a few months until we get to LA because our market here in Canada looks to be turning too. We are really worried about being tied to a house we might not be able to sell in a few months. So thats extra stress I could have done without. But I know I'll feel much better with our money safely tucked away in the bank earning interest for a few months instead of disappearing in a crashing real estate market. I think we'll exchange it to US dollars also while the rate it good.

Yikes..I wish I could just think about the pregnancy and making the nursery look good. Instead I have all this other stuff to sort out. Will it ever end!!

Alana, althought it is stressful now I think what you and DH are considering is a very smart financial strategy. The market here for homes has really taken a dive. We want to buy a bigger house and now is a great time to buy but no good for the seller. In 2006 I sold my home in Canada and made a nice profit. I kept the funds in Canada until the exchange rate levelled out last fall. I lost no money in the transfer. In fact even with some transfer fees it was even!! Everyone here thought I was crazy for not transferring sooner, but it paid off. I know it is stressful to think of anything else except the baby, but it might be less stressful when it gets time to move and you are further along in your pregnancy!!!

Katrina...can't wait to hear the u/s results. Post when you know (we are u/s addicts here so post a pic too if you can).

Shelley, I'm glad you think its a good idea too. Yes its going to be stressful but less so than when we have the baby actually here. I think our market is going to follow the US one very soon, so getting out now might be our only hope. I'm just greatful for the internet...if I'm too busy to go shopping at least I can order stuff online. How on earth did our mothers manage??

CONGRATULATIONS Katrina! Yay, we have another little princess to add to the list.

If I had any sort of organization skills I'd make a list of the gender results so far. But sadly, I don't. lol

Anyway, the pictures are great. Thanks for sharing them hun...you have helped with my u/s addiction.

Alana good luck with your house and apartment hunting. I hope all goes well.

Anirtak- congratulations on your princess. I was just like you totally sure we were having a boy and my friend scanned me yesterday too. She says girl!!! DH can't believe it and doesn't really want me saying anything until the next u/s. LOL I told him no little turtle ( what our u/s tech told us with ds.) Says he is still in shock and can't believe she made it when they told us we had 2 nearly perfect little boy embroys and 1 they didn't think that would implant that they were not sure boy or girl. I told him she must be our little angel.

Sarah- Im glad you arrived saftly and hope your havign a great time!

Yay katrina for a little girl!!!! How exciting!! I think that makes two girls and three boys so far right, and if larklynn has a girl we will be tied....and Alana yours is coming up soon too right?

I went to Once Upon a Child, and wow! They have some great things in there, we found a bassinet that I looooove but I was chicken and only bought a pregnancy pillow! I am still not comfortable buying things, this poor baby is going to come in September and I will only have diapers, lol! But the store was amazing, the sad part is that there isn't one any where near me at home so I told SIL she would have to go there and send me picture messages and I would tell her yes or no, and just send her money. It was funny though DH was obsessed with this booster seat and wanted to get it, I kept telling him it was neat but our baby wouldn't need one for a long while after he or she is born, but he was just so cute and excited. Now I can't wait to go to the gender scan so I can register!

Anyone having sharp pains in the lower abdomen, around the bottom of the uterus....went walking a lot yesterday when we were at a flea market and had some then and some last night, figure it must be ligament pain but they worried me. And I was super dizzy this morning at 3 am during my potty break and even now still a little, maybe it is because I am so hungry, I am off to eat and I hope everyone has a great Monday!!!
