Larklynn thats so exciting you are having a little girl too. Its now a tie like Sarah said. Although we won't know for sure until we all give birth will we...Christine is being mean and keeping it a secret! lol
Sarah, I can't wait to go to Once Upon a Child. But like you I'm too nervous to buy anything yet, I also want to wait for the gender scan...and to pass the 20 week halfway mark. As for the pains you have been having...I'm having those too!! In fact yesterday and today I've been having pretty bad cramps also. Not the AF type, just a feeling of pressure and general discomfit. Of course when you google these symptoms it immediately tells you your having a miscarriage. I hate google sometimes. I'm hoping its just stretching or something...the heartbeat is still fine on the doppler. Still...I wish my OB appointment was sooner. Its still a week away. But then we get to have our gender scan about a week after that...so not too much longer. Anyway, my MIL went in for major bowel cancer surgery today so I'm off to wait by the phone for DH to tell me how it went. I hate when family gets sick...its so nerve-wracking. I just hope she can get healthy and be up to flying out and seeing the baby...I know thats all she wants right now.

Alana-hope all turns out well with your MIL! I will say a prayer for her.
Anyone getting rashes? I have this bumpy rash type thing on my outer wrist and have had it for a few days now, DH and SIL seem to think it is hives or an alergic reaction but with my recent scabies and MRSA scare in my classroom I am super paranoid. Is it ok to take benedryl? Guess maybe I should call my OB or go to the walk in tomorrow...but I don't want to do either if I am over reacting, which I am sure I am. i know it's pretty common for preggo women to get rashes and outbreaks so maybe this is just part of the deal. Maybe I just need to stop messing with it =) Ok off to eat pizza!

Good morning all!!!
I am feeling so much better and a little more rested. Thanks everyone for the congratulations we are all very excited. Elisa- Yes 2 girls 2 boys. Talk about a shocker I thought I was in charge of the babies room and name boy has that changed. LOL Charms- It must be a girl thing we were in there forever and she only flashed us a few times she wanted to sit on her feet indian style. My dd told our friend that did the scan dh didn't believe it and she started laughing saying he is going to be in for quite a shock then. It was Elisa with a boy that your were missing. Alana- I hope your mother inlaw is doing okay. My niece just had a similar surgery for Krhons disease last week we are hoping she gets out of the hospital today or tomorrow. She is missing her little girl (My dn is 30 LOL) Sarah- You are not being paranoid I'd give them a call.

Charms-that is funny, I have been having thoughts that I will have a girl, but then I had the dream about a boy, and everyone pretty much keeps saying girl, I am soooo torn! But will be happy with whatever we get. It would be nice to have a girl since her name will be in honor of both grandmothers!
Elisa-thanks for the info, abdominal tears, yikes! The things our bodies go through to bring these babies into the world!! But it is all worth it. My pains seem to have gone away, but not for long I am sure! Larklynn-that is too funny about DH not believing it, I have a feeling mine will be the same way. And how cute that she was sitting that way, she must have wanted to hold on to some of her dignity, lol! So ladies I am on vacation and should be able to sleep in, but my body has different ideas, must be because I am preggo my internal clock is set and there is no changing it. But I woke up to a great suprise this morning, the rash seems to have gotten a lot better, after all the things I tried on it Neosporin has done the trick I think, I love that stuff and don't know why I don't buy stock in it, but we will see if it goes away or comes back but I feel much better about it! Oh and we were at the store yesterday and from what I have been reading the baby is not the side of an avacado, and DH has no clue what one is so I showed him and he just stood there staring, I was afraid we would have to buy one just to get him out of the produce section, he was funny though.

Hi Girls...I am so jealous that all of you are finding out what you are having!! I have 5 more weeks...that is a long time for this impatient girl.
Sarah-I think you are having a girl Charms-I say a boy for you! I have been having the most violent dreams...I will wake up right before the violent impact and then realize I have to go pee...hmmm...I wish my body could come up with a better way to alert me. I have been getting up like 3x a night, and then I can't go back to sleep. I am looking a little tired these days. Plus I think my almost 3 yr old has another ear infection b/c he has been getting up 2-3 x per night. Yesterday he had a fever and his ears were bright red. This will be his 14th ear infection. I pray that this baby does not have this problem with his/her ears. Anyway, thanks for letting me rant! I guess I am officially joining the September thread!!

Alana, I really hope you MIL has a good recovery. I know how tough it is when someone is not well and lives far away. I pray all goes well.
Wow it is getting very exciting in here with everyone finding out what they are having. Charms I always thought you were having a boy but your logic makes sense for it to be a girl. Are you sure you will not find out??? Oh, the suspense is killing me!!! The girl thing is funny. My girl was being difficult too. The doctor scanned the boys so quickly I did not even know he looked at them long enough to determine their sex. He was than focusing on the girl for awhile and finally he said, yep I think we have a girl here...I can't find a penis. When I asked about the others he said, oh they are boys, that was really easy to tell. Typical boys always showing off their stuff! Yesterday is the day I realized that I am really pregnant now. Last week the doctor told me not to stand for longer than 30 minutes. Yesterday I went out shopping and over did it. I got home rested for a bit and then got up to make dinner and straighten the house. I began to have a really heavy, uncomfortable feeling. My tummy felt heavy and tight and very low. It was a bit scary because it was a feeling I have not felt before and it did not feel good. I than relaxed in my recliner and came on this forum to relax and then...... I read a post about placenta previa Vasa Previa Info (ALL PREGGO PLEASE READ) I began to get worried and paranoid that I may have it because with 3 in there ... one is going to be near my cervix. I have never had any bleeding or cramping and I have had lots of ultrasounds, so I never worried about such a thing until now. Elisa, did you find out you had placenta previa during a regular u/s? Did the doctor tell you that you may be delivering early? Hope everyone is doing well and taking care of those babies!!

Elisa - sorry i missed you!
Tracy - i missed you too! geez - i am slacking here gals. Shelley - DH and I are planning for either, but the closet is filled with boy and girls clothes - because we have so much that was already given to us. as for the room, we are doing snoopy and the fabrics that i choose have lots of green and yellows and blues. i am not a pink fan - AT ALL! i am sure i will get used to it but i am still thinking NOT. when i find the camera i will take a picture of my crafty projects for the baby's room. doesnt really matter girl or boy - we'll be doing this again quite quickly - i am getting to old and with diabetes the riskes just keep getting higher with each pregnancy. we will however use our embryos with the next try(s), maybe in may or june - when this little one is about 9 months old, since we never know how long it might take to actually be successful.

Shelly, thats the weird feeling I've been getting in the evenings too. Usually after a long day of doing stuff. I actually phoned my OB's about it this morning and they want me to see my family doctor today to get a UTI test done before they check for anything else. Although my symptoms are also often accompanied by light cramping so I'm hoping its not my cervix weakening or something. Its possible as I had a LEEP procedure done a year and a half ago. So hopefully when I next see the OB on Monday she can check its still tightly shut in there.
Christine, I hope you can guess what I'm having before the scan. I have absolutely no vibes whatsoever what this baby is. But my first beta was 79 at 11 dpo. However its assumed I had a vanishing twin as the beta doubled in one day (155 12dpo) and then I had bleeding and then the numbers went a bit strange for a few days. I can tell you though that the heartbeat has never been below 150. Not that that means much but its more info I guess. Has this thrown your vibe?? lol, its thrown mine and I didn't have one! Tracy, have you been checked for a UTI also? I just know my OB asked if I was needing to pee more than usual as that can be a sign. I'm sure its just normal pregnancy symptoms...but if you really aren't getting much sleep it couldn't hurt to get it checked out, Sarah...get back to bed!! Lol, I know what you mean though. DH is in the UK with his MIL so I'm here alone with the dogs. They of course have taken to waking me up early to let them out. Little buggars...its a big conspiracy on their part though as they don't actually want to go out...they just want me to give them attention!! Elisa, it sounds like you are getting the same weird pains Sarah and I have been complaining about. It makes me feel better that we all have them. It must be normal then. Still...any pain makes me nervous...I miss my RE and my weekly appointments!! Larklynn, your niece is 30? Wow, you and her would have grown up more as sisters I'm guessing. Are you the baby in your family then? As for MIL, shes supposedly doing pretty well. Shes chatty and feeling pretty good so thats a relief. Shes on a permanent epidural for the pain for a few days so I think thats helping. I just hope the recovery keeps going smoothly and that shes back to her old self soon. I lost my mother many many years ago so it would be very sad for this baby to have no grandmother. All you girls prayers are helping I think though...so far shes doing well. ![]()

Oh Alana I am so sorry you heard bad news. My DH grandmother just passed away from colon cancer last may, and it was very difficult. But hopefully there is something they can do to beat it, saying lots of prayers for you and DH and MIL! We know all to well from our experiences with IF that miracles really do happen and hopefully you will have another miracle!
Tracy-I have been having some pretty violent dreams lately too, but more like robberies and bad people, pretty scarry though! Hope the ear infection goes away soon! Charms-too funny, my friend hates pink, I mean HATES it, so we tease her and say when she has a baby it will def. be a girl and we will all buy her truck loads of pink stuff! Interesting everyone thinks a girl for me, guess we will see, three more weeks to go!!!

Thanks Sarah, prayers are what we need most right now. By the way, is it my computer or does your ticker say you are only 8 weeks?
Oh, and I'm not a pink fan either. I don't mind some light pastel pinks, but I'm more a green lover. Then again...it they are a girl who can resist pretty pink dresses!
