Mattsmom-Congratulations!!! on your u/s it sounds like it went great.

Charms- you are too funny! I can't complain to much about running to the bathroom I did that alot already so I don't see it as a symptom just a continuation. I hope you continue to feel good. I am having some of the same sleeping problems.

Nurse- I hope you feel better soon. Im still just gaggy and nautious hope it stays that way for a while.

Elisa- Good Luck today can't wait to hear your bean count

Ladies,

My RE had instructed us "no intercourse until we see the heartbeat", well heartbeat was seen today but I failed to confirm at today's appointment that it is okay now. What were your RE's instructions?

Sad news. You can take me off the list. I went to my RE yesterday morning for bloodwork and an ultrasound because I was bleeding more than just a little spotting. They couldn't see anything at all on the ultrasound and when my bloodwork came back they told me that my beta levels had risen a little but not enough. I have to go back again tomorrow morning for more bloodwork. They want to monitor my hCG levels as they go back down (which is just such a thrilling thought for me..). I'm clinging to the tiny hope that they might be wrong, but I'm not expecting any miracles.

Persephone - I am so sorry you are going through this. I wish you and your DH the best. Take the time to grieve your loss - and know we are always here for you!

________

My RE told yesterday we were now able to have sex. I don't think we are going to risk anything and will likely wait until we are well into our 2nd trimester.

BTW - I am feeling thirsty all the time! I miss my diet soda....

I am getting sooo nervous and excited. Despite being tired I have been watching the Discovery Health channel. I just watched 2 shows about 2 different couples who had quints! Wow!!! Christine both you and my DH think I am having triplets along with some others here!! I am going to be so happy if there is one healthy baby in there!! I will take whatever I am blessed with.

Christine, the clinic I go to is The Centre for Reproductive Health and Gynecology. They have an office in Beverly Hills and Valencia (Santa Clarita). My u/s will be in Valencia. What clinic do you go to?

I am really excited for you. I can't wait to hear how your u/s goes and then you had said before, the day after your DH comes home from out of town!!! Wow what a great way to end the week!!! I am also going crazy. DH said that he is worried if I need bedrest during my pregnancy because I can not sit still for very long, it would kill me. I am tired but I am running on nervous energy. It is late and for once DH has beat me to bed...I better get going!

Shelley, I go to two clinics.....I go to the USNavy - NTC Infertility clinic - this is where my RE is, they do all b/w, u/s and med dispensing. for the actual procedure I go to RPMG in La Jolla. my u/s will the at the NTC (extension of Balboa Medical Center in San Diego).

Oh no.....I fly to SD on Thusday for the u/s and to p/u and other meds and then come home, only to go back to the airport on Friday to go to San Antonio to see DH for the 3 day weekend. He isnt coming home until Feb 15th - I dont even get valentines day with him.....he gets to spend it my mom, she is the half way point from SA to PHX - so he'll spend the night there on his drive back.

Bed rest is actually a breeze, when you know you have to! I had DH bring in a rolley cart with my laptop, so i didnt have to leave bed to do some work. my job let me work from home during my bedrest before the twins came. you'd be amazed.

Wow Christine you are going to be a very busy girl!! A very happy kind of busy I must add....You should ask for 2 u/s pictures incase you wear one out before you see DH!

I know I am getting ahead of myself but if I do go on bed rest I will have it easy, if I can stay stay in bed ....king bed, tempur-pedic mattress, lots of pillows, big tv, and ofcourse my laptop which is an extension of my hip!!! (heck it sounds comfy, I should be there now!!)

I hope I don't go too crazy today

Yeah! 1st u/s is over. I was so nervous I didn't sleep at all last night. We we saw one sac and a yolk sac. I am 5wks and 2 days according to my ovulation date so they said that it is too early for a heartbeat. They just wanted placement and seeing a yolk sac was just a bonus. I go back in 2 weeks for my 2nd u/s to check for a heartbeat.

Charms and Babysteps- good luck tomorrow. I can't wait for a baby count!

Shannon, great to hear your u/s went well. Now you can rest for the next 2 weeks and hearing the heart beat will be so amazing!

I know what you mean about not sleeping. I went to bed late and was up early and today is a bit of a write off because the only thing on my mind is the u/s. I am going crazy and I can not believe it is only 1pm!!!
