Sarah, your little baby boy is so cute. He has a nice profile!

We were not allowed to have sex for the first trimester either. I thought it would kill us but it was just preparing us for a change of routine for the rest of our lives! LOL Just joking.... It was fun once we were safe to do so. Kind of like starting over for the first time. Now I am getting a bit scared that it may cause contractions. I think my doctor told us in the beginning to stop at 20 weeks. Hummmm, did I miss the farewell party? I must ask him.

I had a bad sleep last night. I have been so lucky so far. My belly has been growing well but I think the rest of my body is getting fed up with it. I woke up many times with a really sore back. Actually my whole body was sore. We have a king size tempur-pedic mattress and I sleep with 3 pillows. One for my head, knees and tummy. I have been eye balling those pregnancy pillows and it may be time to get one.

I also an beginning to get pregnancy carpal tunnel syndrome. I didn't know there was such a thing until I told the nurse I had been waking up with numb, tingling hands. I thought I was sleeping in the wrong position. So far it only bothers me at night. Has anyone else had this?

Shelley - my best friend who just had her baby had bad carpal tunnel, mostly at night and she started wearing wrist braces to bed and said it really helped.

I have been really busy at work with some events and have been on my feet and moving stuff around much more than I have been at any other point in pregnancy and my body definitely tells me that it does not like it - my back is sore every day but after days like that I am sore all over and literally can't walk straight!

Desire for sex: no interest, really. The last few years of infertility and its treatment took much of the joy out of the experience for us, unfortunately. Then the IVF and we were banned through the first trimester--it's tough to get back on board. Plus, I've had problems with depression and libido is very much affected so it's tricky for us at this time.

My pregnancy aches happen at night in my hips and legs, no matter how much stretching I do. We have a Tempur Pedic as well. Using a pillow between knees and sleeping on side helps. I'm also trying to curb myself of my crossing my legs habit, which is tough! My mother had horrible varicose veins, and I'm trying to avoid that. I already have the Irish skin that you can see blue veins through--and that was pre-pregnancy!!

Otherwise feeling great! No more nausea, decreased dizziness, and more energy overall. One thing I've been wanting to mention that I read on a multiples website, but thought it might be worth passing on here: one mother mentioned she wished she had taken more photos of her babies right after delivery and first day home--but professional, sort of artsy images that would capture that time before they really get growing. I'd like to do that. We'll all be so busy post delivery that I can imagine how the time would just fly by.

Justine...that is a good idea about the pictures. I wish I had more of my first the days following his birth. I was so out of it that I don't remember much, which makes me sad. It would definitely be best to put someone else in charge of those first pictures!

Shelly-during my first pregnancy my wrists went to pot. I have ganglian(sp?) cysts on both of my wrists and they are sore and sometimes painful. I have wrist braces, but really, who can take care of a child and wear wrist braces...virtually impossible! Just one of the many changes my body made, but all for a wonderful blessing!

I think that is a great idea to take lots of pictures. DH and I took lots of pictures of everything before and then we seemed to have gotten really busy and preoccupied with this pregnancy. Crazy how it works that way. Nothing going on in your life, you take lots of pictures, then you get busy and should document it and don't.

Wow I hope my wrists don't get that bad that I need to wear braces. It probably doesn't help that I spend a lot of time on the computer either..

Sarah the pictures of your little Jackson are adorable. I love his profile, what a handsome wee man you have in there. (do you realize we have a teeny tiny penis in there? It blows my mind to be honest)

Katrina, no sex here either. We were told because of the previous miscarriages that none until after 20 weeks. Well here we are...and I'm not in the mood and DH is too scared! Lol, seriously, now we've seen them wriggling around in there its not exactly the most romantic thing to be thinking about, but how do you get it out of your mind? So poor DH doesn't want to upset the baby and I'm just generally too tired. Guess we'll have to make up for it afterwards....yeh right! lol

Shelley, sorry about the sore wrists hun. I had read in one of my pregnancy books that carpal tunnel is actually more common than you would think in pregnancy. I'm sure it will resolve itself once your little ones are here. Do you have your names picksd out yet? I can't wait to hear them all. We had enough trouble coming up with one...I have no idea how you are handling choosing three. Plus I guess you have to come up with three boys names PLUS a girls name in case your princess is actually a prince.

Justine, good luck at your scan today. I hope the babies cooperate and you get to see the gender today. Let us know how it goes.

Oh and I love the picture idea. DH and I have already decided that our christmas present to family this year will be photos. Theres a great website that lets you create your own color printed book with photos and text in it etc. Its makes for a very cool coffee table book...thats going to be our gift for everyone this year.

That sounds like a great Christmas idea - what is the website! I told my dh that for Christmas this year everyone was getting something homemade and probably baby oriented. I just don't foresee having the time or especially money to do full on Christmas shopping!

Sorry I haven't posted in awhile Ive been so busy this week it didn't help that Ryan had a really bad ear infection I felt horrible for him.

Sarah and Alana- congration on your boys!!! Boys are great! My boys are so lovey dovey.

Sorry to hear that some people are having such bad problems with their wrists. I have had the night time problem you guys are talking about and figured I was sleeping funny and that is what caused it.

As for the sex thing Im back on restriction u/s tech said I was on pelvic rest not that Im that interested anyway my belly is so big that nothing is comfortable any way.

Justine did the babies cooperate.

Justine did you see hot dogs or Hamburgers?? or like my u/s tech said indoor or outdoor plumbing..lol...I am dying to know!!! I was so mad when I couldn't get on last night!

Shelley-no wrist pain but def. hip pain, but only in my right leg, and sometimes my belly hurts if the pillow isnt just right. If you dont want to get one of those big pregnancy pillows try a wedge, that is what I have now and it is wonderful, but I think I might have to get one of the big ones soon. I wonder if there are some kind of stretches or exercises to help with the wrist pain?

Thanks for all the nice comments on the baby picture, we are quite smitten so we just think he is the most adorable thing! The u/s tech measured and crown to rump he was 6+inches and she figured another 2 or so for the legs, so hopefully we get a tall boy, I am short and DH is tall so we will just have to wait and see. And I have been feeling movement pretty much every day, but last night I think he must have done a flip in there or something, it was the weirdest feeling, but still very cool. And yes ALana it is kind of hard to believe we have little ones with a tiny penis in there! Well I hope the babies cooperated Justine, and we have some more u/s coming up today and tomorrow right? GOOD LUCK LADIES!!!

Tracy, Good luck today!! Bottoms up baby!

Justine, I hope you u/s went well.

Can't wait to hear what you girls are having. When people asked me what I was having before we knew, I couldn't help but say 'human, I hope'. LOL I know I am such a dork

So far the wrists hurst mostly at night and first thing in the morning. My hands have been swollen for awhile now and I haven't been able to wear my wedding rings. Bummer. Silly I know, but I kind of miss them Actually my watch is getting tight on me too. Everything is! Gosh, I haven't tried on a hat lately...I wonder if my head is getting bigger????

I can't find any pregnancy pillows in the stores so I have been looking online. I don't want one that goes around my back, just my tummy. Oh it is tough buying a pillow online. Any ideas?

Tracy-oops, I don't know why I thought your u/s was yesterday. I was waiting to read the results for both you & Justine's u/s last night. Well best of luck, can't wait to hear all about it!

Justine-We're thinking of you and impatiently waiting to hear the news, girls, boys, or both?

I had my OB appointment yesterday and still having alot of pain on my right side, its so painful I was in tears this morning. My OB says she is almost sure it's scar tissue. I'm scared that if I am having this much pain at this point, how much worse is it going to be as the baby gets bigger. Has anyone had any experience with scar tissue?

Shelley - I have looked in stores too with no luck. I just feel like I need to see them before I buy them but I might have to break down and just order one if this back pain continues!

Are you all still wearing your wedding rings? My dh told me we should get a fake one so I don't look unwed and knocked up!!! I don't want them to have to be cut off but it seems early not to wear them, they are tight and hard to get off but as I was making meatloaf last night I realized that they do still come off, barely!

No I am not wearing my rings The last few times I wore them, they went on in the morning but then my hands swelled during the day, and the thought of not being able to get them off freaked me out. I told DH I might have to go and get a cheap band to wear so I don't look like an old, unwed, knocked up women.

Elisa, I am so sorry you are in pain. I have had no experience with scar tissue but I really hope that your pain stops soon.
