Thanks girls for the reassurance...they come and go, like this morning I was leaning over into the trunk of my car to get something and got one, as soon as I stood straight up they went away, I swear it is like I pulled a muscle or something. Guess we can chalk it up to the joys of pregnancy huh?
Jill and Ebru-good luck today!!! I cannot wait to hear how things go! Post as soon as you can, I do believe we are u/s addicts here, lol! It's my birthday today! Yaaay and what a happy one it is, everyone keeps asking me what I want but I already have him! But I did tell DH he had to take me to Red Lobster because I have been craving crab legs big time, and since the doctor said they are ok I am going to enjoy every bite! And if I have time before DH gets out of work I might go buy the baby something, since I have yet to get a single thing! Well hope you ladies have a fantastic Friday!!!

Tracy--congratulations on your son!!
Ebru--hope all goes well today and look forward to hearing your news I too get the odd aches and pains and I believe if they do not last long or end after you change position it's perfectly fine. Just think of the changes our bodies have to make to accommodate the baby.

Sarah,
Me too--I haven't bought anything yet. I really do need to get on the ball, though I do look and do research. My parents in law in Germany have offered to pay for the nursery furniture. My husband is their only child and although they do not have a lot of money as they're both retired they are very excited about the babies and want to share in our preparation. We are also a bit strapped as we just bought our first home and all our cash went into that. They remember starting out. I feel uncomfortable accepting their generous gift as I have a hard time with people being nice to me (very weird, I know, I just feel so overwhelmed at times.) But my husband is great with it, grateful (me too), and it's a family experience that I will definitely go with. It's such a shift going from single , or just married to a family unit and people want to share this time with you, I'm finding.

Justine, Congratulations on getting the confirmation that one of your babies is a girl!! Usually they can easily confirm the boys and the girls there are not sure about. I bet the other one is a girl too ;0
Tracy, Congratulations on expecting a boy!! I love your pictures. What a cute! Tracy and Alana, sorry you two had a scare with your babies heart. I am sure everything will turn out great but it's tough to worry over something that probably will not be a problem. Ebru and Jull, I hope your u/s was a good one today. Can't wait to hear if you are expecting a boy or a girl?? Post pictures if you can!! Good luck Christine, with your u/s! Have a great weekend! Sarah, HAPPY BIRHTDAY!!!

Ok girls how did the u/s go today?? Boys, girls?? Oh I am soooo impatient!!!
Thanks for all the Happy Birthdays, and the crab legs were fantastic!!! Ususally I have a craving and by the time I actually eat the food it just doesnt taste good, but the crab legs were the exact opposite and I wanted more! And I finally broke down and bought some baby clothes! I stopped by Old Navy and got some great onsies and pants and footed long sleeved pajamas for about 5 dollars each. I do love the sales! I cannot wait to go buy more, I think the moster has been let loose! Ok now I need to know Ebru and Jill!!! Hope all went well and your babies are growing and healthy! Justine-It sounds like you have great inlaws! And I know how you feel, I looove giving gifts and helping people out but feel so odd when its reversed. And I know all to well about buying a house and then having to pay for something, we had to pay for our wedding a few months after buying ours, but remember that babies need so little, just some love, attention, and food!

Sarah- Happy Birthday! Crab legs sound yummy!
So here it goes: Everything went great today. We're having.... wait for it..... A BOY!!! ![]() I don't remember being so proud and happy and emotional all at the same time. This whole time I was secretly wishing for a girl (well not so secretly since I was telling everyone) but when I heard that we're having a boy, I was so unbelievably happy. I don't think I could be happier if I was wishing for a boy all along. At some point, it just doesn't matter. I just wanted to be able to connect and call him my son. It made such a difference for me. Helped me realize that this is really happening and I'm going to be a little boy's mom soon. It's so amazing. So I guess with that, the boys are ahead, right? I have to go check out the list Jill- can't wait to hear about your u/s. I hope you had a wondderful experience like we did. Photos coming soon... Have a great weekend!
