Alana- I actually understand the limbo you are describing... It is a good way to describe how I have felt. I think it is probalbly pretty normal. I am enjoy the pg part but I think most of us probably worry every day.

Shelly funny picture of the boys how cute. Has your mother inlaw come up with anything else for the shower yet?

Shelly-love the picture of the two boys. How funny!!

Alana...I was just thinking and feeling the same way this morning. I was trying to remember back when all I wanted was to be pregnant, so I am just trying to enjoy every day that he kicks me! But I also desperately want to meet this little guy! I think after seeing him on the ultrasound, it made it real, and I can't wait to hold him!

Shelley - I am having a lot of fun picking out bedding but that is only because my grandmother is making it and the curtains and whatnot and it will be a significant savings!

Sarah - no lamaze here either. We are definitely having a c-section so I don't think there is really any need. We are thinking of going to the marvelous multiples class.

I am definitely feeling antsy and trying to relish being pregnant while wishing the days would fly by and continuously counting how many months I have until the big day! I actually had a breakdown this morning because my dad was supposed to be coming in town and we were going to start getting the nursery ready (moving stuff out) and buying some basic nursery furniture and he is not coming because the whole family is sick and it really upset me because I feel like I am just stuck in neutral - not time yet to do any real preparations but far enough along where I feel like I want to do things to make it more real and celebrate being pregnant! I bet, though, that we look back at these posts a short while from now and think - what were we thinking!?!

I will definitely be having a c-section so we won't be taking any classes.

I also feel like I am in limbo and counting the weeks until the babies will be out of danger if I get preterm labor. I have also been bummed since my appointment yesterday when I was told not to stand for more than 5 minutes. My DH thinks I should be enjoying these days because I don't have to do any housework or shopping or long preparation of meals. I just feel so useless. I still have lots I can do though!!

I just have to keep reminding myself how lucky I really am. Don't get me wrong I appreciate everything. I think it must be a pregnancy, hormonal thing.

I am not sure what is going on about the shower my MIL wants to host. She asked for some addresses and I gave them to her. I began to get so stressed over the topic of the shower that I have just decided to sit back and go for the ride when it comes up. Seriously it stesses DH out too. My MIL looks after BIL's 2 kids until their Mother is done teaching in June. Until then she is too busy and tired to do anything about the shower. Oh well....

Wow shelly...not being able to stand for more than 5 minutes?? Well, good excuse to sit down and take a break!

We are having a c-section as well! Most doctors don't like to do VBAC's. Mine is no exception..too risky!

Shelley - sorry to hear you are so restricted! I know it is tough because you just feel like you should be doing more and if you are anything like me you are constantly running in to people who are go, go, go at 8 months pregnant and spending oodles of time in the gym, etc. and I just can't do that - physically and because my doc told me to take it easy. I am sure you are counting down the days - I already really do my countdown to about 35 weeks because if I make it to then I am so, so happy!

The restriction thing does sound tough Shelley, I am on exercise restriction because of the miscarriages but I think the not standing thing would be difficult. Although, I'm sure you are more comfortable these days sitting or lying down anyway so I guess that must help.

I think we probably all feel a wee bit guilty about being anxious and apprehensive about the pregnancy. We all know how appreciative each of us is to be in this amazing position...but after the hel l of IF its just so hard to believe things will turn out okay. I try everyday to enjoy being pregnant, but if I'm honest all I really want is September to be here and to have my baby here. Like you said Tracy, I want to be able to hold him etc and the waiting is very very hard. I was never the most patient person anyway!

Christine, I haven't seen any posts from Jill either. I wonder how it all went?

I just recieved a box of baby boy clothes that I bid on on ebay...and they are amazing! For the price I paid I have sooooo many cute items its not funny. All brand new with the tags still on. I also have another lot of gently used stuff coming, theres about 80 pieces in that lot which I only paid $40 for. I'm starting to wonder where I'm going to put it all!

ALana-I think you hit the nail on the head! I feel like we got through the first trimester and the threat of miscarriage, and now we are half way there but I constantly think in my head about premature labor...and if the baby was born would he be able to survive. I try and be positive and think he isnt going to come until September but every now and then one of those bad thoughts sneaks in. And he has been pretty mellow the last week or so and not as much kicking so I worry even more. But I really want that fast forward button! If you find it let me know where you got it from, lol!

Shelley-hope your sugar is better next time. Did you eat something before it? My nurse said it was ok to eat before but not something like a candy bar or something I would not normally eat. And I love the picture, it looks like it's getting crowded in there! I think it's cute to imagine them kissing and kicking each other now, they must be practicing for when they are out in the world!

Lol...I soooo wish I knew where that button was located! Its funny also you mentioned the pre-term issue. I have been torturing myself by googling how early can babies survive outside the womb, what are the symptoms of early labour etc. It looks like if we can make it to about 28-30 weeks we should be okay.

But until then I'm going to be a nervous wreck! Especially since I've had surgery on my cervix before and I worry everyday its weakened it...so I guess I'll be bothering my OB with all these concerns again next Friday when I see her for a check-up.

I talked to my best friend this morning who has had many miscarriages (poor thing, she has a 10 y.o. daughter but has been trying for another...) Anyways she told me that if I didn't listen to the doctor and something happened I would be beating myself up mentally forever!! I'll just have to be more creative and find ways to do things sitting down, like chopping veggies or doing my hair and makeup. LOL Silly I know since I won't be going anywhere. Actually I am going out for lunch with a friend on Sunday. Should be fun.

Shellie, the doctor is hoping that I will make it to 35 weeks too. The average triplet birth happens around 33 weeks but some people make it to 35 or 36 weeks. Each week that goes by is a celebration!!! Yesterday my fundal measurement was 35, meaning my uterus is about the size of being 35 weeks pregnant with one baby!! Wholly smokes!

Wow - 35 weeks already, that is insane. I am measuring about 25 weeks because of the two and the fibroids and I know that bigger and more uncomfortable is just around the corner!!!

I have been googling nightmarish stuff like that too and keep calculating when everything will be ok. I was ridiculously excited on Tuesday when they measured by cervix with the vaginal ultrasound and everyone said it looked great and was good and long and closed. My dh even told me good job and then laughed because we both know there is nothing we can do about it but we both worry about it way too much!

LOL, at good job on the cervix from DH. That is so cute. Mine was long and closed 4 weeks ago and I will be getting it measured again, along with the babies next week. I never thought I would be so darn proud of my cervix. LOL Oh the things we learn and worry about when we are pregnant.

I wish I could be proud of my cervix but I wonder if they might be an under-achiever! lol. I hope not...I guess I'll let the OB decide next week.

Thats great Shelley that triplets can go to 35 weeks, I would have assumed much earlier than that. I guess theres more room in the uterus than we realize. Although, does this mean that eventually your other internal organs are going to end up around your neck or something?? I think we need more bump pics from you too....its so much fun to see how everyone is progressing. I'll try to take one in a week and see if theres any difference. I dont think so but DH does, I still think I just look fat!

bellasmom318 - Jill has been MIA for 11 days now, I am really worried about her. I sent her a PM.

Will everyone keep her and the baby in their prayers until we hear from her again.
