I have A LOT of pressure. It use to be just at the end of the day but now I am noticing it early on. When I asked the doctor about experiencing a lot of pressure after standing for awhile, I got a disapproving look and that is when I was told not to stand for more than 5 minutes. I have to begin to force myself to do this..

Goodness I have pressure with just my one little one I think the dr. is right for you guys take it easy. I can't imagine how hard it is though.

I have thought about getting the smaller carseat and may still do that. I have a suv and am not to worried about size but weight... that could be an issue. Although I did carry my ds until he was almost in kind. he's a moose!

SHelley-I read one of my pregnancy books last night and at 24 weeks it said the baby should be about 1 pound! So you are doing fantastic, and I do believe there are all kinds of opinions out there but I bet your doctor is going to tell you those little ones are doing just great! And I dont know much about cervical length but I am sure if it was bad you would have had to see the doctor right away, so I would just keep those feet up and try and relax as much as you can. I just think you are doing an amazing job with your pregnancy and am truley inspired by you and your attitude!

FOssie-I feel ya! I have been feeling pressure but it comes and goes, but I notice it is right before I have to pee, lol. I swear this baby is in there poking my bladder. But it is low in the abdomen and it is uncomfortable, but like you no contractions but just heavy. And work has been crazy for me too, the kids are so ready to be done with the year! And I think that is where my pressure is coming from if it isnt from my bladder! If it gets worse or keeps happening for a long period of time I would call your doctor just to be sure.

Alana-I really do think we should throw you a online shower! DH is going crazy with just having to buy the basics, I cannot imagine him if we didnt have a shower to get all the other things!

So the heartburn went away but I tell you what today I will be buying some Tums, like a whole case! And I dopplered last night, big mistake! I found the hb right away and it was in the 130s, then all of a sudden he moved and I heard it going down and the display said 119...ahhhh!!! So I freaked out and dopplered twice after that and everything was fine, hb ranging from 130 to 145, but it was still scary and I am sure I will go home and doppler tonight after work! But a neat thing was that he must have done a summersault in there because I felt him move sooo much and twice it felt like he flipped completely around.

Good morning ladies!

The doctor finally called and said that Garrison is doing great and they couldn't find anything wrong with his heart. I was very relieved! (I can't remember if I already told you guys this!)

Shelly-It sounds like your babies are doing great. Just try to stay off of your feet and take it easy!!

Sarah..you are so funny with that doppler! How cool to feel him flip around. I haven't really had that sensation yet, just a lot of kicking.

I am sad today...my good friend who was 10 weeks pregnant went to her first OB appt yesterday and found out that the babies(she had no idea she was having twins) were only measuring 5.5 weeks. She has to go back next Thursday and make sure they are not growing before she has a D & C. She has been trying to get pregnant for two years with no drugs or fertility treatments! I just feel really sad for her! I just keep hoping that maybe her calculations were off or something. However 4.5 weeks off would be a pretty big miscalculation!

Here are some pictures of our scan on Tuesday.
The u/s tech had an old machine but we did get some pictures. Baby girl A was looking at us. I wish it was more clear because her face has been hiding in the other scans we had. She is our mystery baby! Baby B looks like he is looking at us and smiling and baby C looks comfortable just sitting there

Tracy-yaaaay for a healthy heart! Yeah I think I need to go to some Doppler Anonymous meetings or something! I hope your friend gets good news, maybe she was really off or their measurements were off...I will be praying for her!

SHelley-how funny are those pictures?! Makes you appreciate the technology we have today huh? Baby C's picture cracks me up, looks like he is just chilling in there! Isn't that just like a girl to cooperate and show her face when you can't see it as well?! It is truley amazing that you have three babies in there and they look sooo good, even in bad pictures!

Tracy, that is great news that your baby's heart is ok. What a relief. Sorry to hear about your friend's pregnancy not going well. My best friend (lives in Canada) was pregnant with ivf the same time I was. Her beta was really low and she went for an u/s and there was no hb and the growth had stopped. She has since gotten pregnant twice, natually but miscarried both times. I have been so worried for her. I felt a bit guilty because my pregnancy was going so well but she has been really supportive and cool and is not bitter towards me. A true friend. I know how difficult it is to have someone you care about go through such a sad experience.

Glad to hear some of you are tired, as I am too...but was feeling too guilty to go and take a nap. Now I feel it is probably normal and won't feel like a lazy girl.

Just wanted to mention on the sun exposure. I have noticed with the pregnancy that I have gotten brown sunspots on my forehead, cheeks and hands and that is just driving in my car. My hands are actually tanned, I noticed that they really stood out when I was getting out of the shower. I hope it gets back to normal afterward the delivery. Otherwise, I think my skin is looking better than usual!

Yay for the good news Tracy, that must be a welcome relief.

Shelley, baby C cracks me up...what a chilled little guy. Is that the way up he is sitting or did they turn the u/s? My little guy is always upside down with his head hidden behind his fists or feet. Which is good I guess as it means he won't be breach, but he doesn't cooperate that well at u/s. And your little girl is a total flirt already. By the way, which one of the babies is jumping Jack??

Sarah...put DOWN the doppler! lol, seriously those things are addictive and upsetting all at the same time. I notice the dip in heartrate also, its very scary to hear.

Speaking of scary, I think I will be going in for a fetal echo in a couple of weeks also, just because of the noticed skipped beats on the doppler (which is why my OB has banned us using it anymore...lol) and the soft marker. I think it will help us with peace of mind too. But I'm a wee bit nervous about it.

Oh, and I think I have a tooth infection so I'm booked in for an emergency appointment tomorrow evening. I have read its not good for the baby if it is infected so I hope its okay. But the appointment will be in the beaches part of Toronto so DH and I are going to go out for dinner afterwards as our anniversary is on Sunday. We figured we'll make it Friday evening instead. I hate the dentist though...I'm such a wimp. I might get DH to come in and hold my hand.

Alana-I know and I try, I really do, but I cant help myself. Today I did it again and noticed a dip...but then a second later it was back up to 130, so I wonder if I am picking up the placenta blood flow, is that even possible?? I mean it was faster than my hb but slower than his, and there was no slow decrease like I thought I heard yesterday. Maybe I should just send it back! LOL!

DH noticed I was tan, I don't even get that much sun, there hasn't been any sun here in NY right now! And here I am tanner than I think I have ever been before! I love this perk of pregnancy because usually I am white as a sheet!

Sarah, this should help alleviate your worries about the dipping heartrate. I've just come back from my OB appointment and she checked the heartrate with the doppler as usual, and the heartrate dipped hugely as it always does and then went back up. DH and I both heard it and freaked out and asked the doctor what the heck was that....and she wasn't even fazed. She said its actually a good sign, when it dips and rises back up it means babies heart is good. We are still booked in for a fetal NST test in two weeks just to be sure because of the skipped beats we heard (it was different from the decelerations) but what you are hearing Sarah is perfectly normal.

Well, the swelling has begun! My rings would barely come off last night and now I think they are off until the end and the dreaded cankles appeared! Wow, pregnancy is odd!!!

Speaking of sun - I was helping move my office yesterday and wearing sandals and I got sandal lines on my feet just from walking back and forth all day (not to mention that I got very, very, very sore)!

Fossie-Sorry to hear about the swelling, the joys of pregnancy right?!

Alana-you made me feel so much better, but I did put a call in to my nurse just to make sure and make myself feel better. So we shall see what she says, probably the same thing, and she will most likely tell me to send back the darn doppler! I really should, I just can't seem to let go of my security blanket!

Off to buy the crib tonight girls, I am super excited! And we are trying to get a wall color nailed down, but it is soooo hard!
