I have made my dh promise not to tell my doctor that we have a doppler for that very reason - he told us not to get one and I did it anyway. I see fluctuations and have a hard time finding the one on the left side but I have just always assumed that is normal. They usually level out at 135 for the boy and 145 for the girl, give or take.

Sarah, post pics of your crib when you get it.

Fossie thats a pain about the swelling, but I guess it means we are all getting along in the weeks now. Can you believe we are in the twenties heading almost into the third trimester? Before we know it it will be September and our babies will be here. Time really seems to be flying by.

So Alana you were right as I thought you would be and the nurse assured me that it was fine, and the hb could even go down to 115 or so just as long as it wasnt 70 or something like that, and I think the baby is laughing at me right now because he is moving like crazy today!! But then tomorrow he will probably not move very much, I notice he does that. Anyhoo I know I will probably get a lecture from my doctor in a week when we go to our appt. And I too cannot believe we are in the middle already, seems like just yesterday I got that BFP!

Ok here is the crib, it was suprisingly easy to get it and we both agreed on it. DH liked the price and I like the style and it will go really well with my great grandmothers rocker we will be putting in there. I hope the picture works, here it is:

700){this.width=700}; window.resizeTo(document.getElementById('theimage' ).width + 10,document.getElementById('theimage').height + 90);" border=0 name=theimage>
It's the Dutchess by Delta, and I think its the same one you got right Shelley?

Sarah thats a gorgeous crib, I love the color. We will have to do a nursery picture posting spree when we have them all done.

At the moment I'm throwing everything I can into the wash and trying to get it washed now in case I forget to do it later. I hate doing laundry though, and baby stuff is very small and fiddly. But I like to feel organized so this is something that helps me feel in control.

Although, buying all this stuff and washing it etc, do any of you girls ever have silly thoughts of jinxing things? I still do...I guess that will never go away.

Sarah, I love your crib! I got the same one....actually I got 3 !!. DH loves how easy it is to put together and it is JPMA certified. They really are beautiful.

Last night I was so tired, I went to bed right after dinner. I woke up about 3 hours later and DH had put all the bedding on the cribs. I had washed it but I was too tired to put it all together. It was a nice surprise and it really made it seem real that I am having 3 babies. We still have to do some work on the closet and hang something on the wall. We haven't taken pictures yet but when we do, I will post them.

Alana, I asked the tech and baby C was sitting up in the breach position. He cracked me up too. He does look comfortable. I hope your dentist appointment went well. I got a bunch of work done before my ET because I had put it off for a very long time and then I read that teeth problems can flare up with pregnancy. It is a relief to hear that the dip in the heart rate is normal. I am sure I have heard my babies heart rate dip during an u/s. I would be a basket case if I had a doppler. I am sure your echo will turn out just fine as well. It is a scare to worry that there might be something wrong.

This morning I had to go for a 3 hour glucose test. Ugh!!! DH was so sweet that he came with me to the clinic so that would not be alone for 3 hours. He worked from home today and his work has been very understanding about him taking time off to be with me on my appointments. They had to take blood from me 4 times, once when I got there and then after every hour. I sure hope this test comes back saying I do not have GD.

Shellie, welcome to the prego, swollen club! It sucks, for sure. I have not been able to wear my rings for a very long time. I actually miss them. Sometimes I feel old, unwed and knocked up Oh well, it actually feels good not to have anything tight on my fingers. Most of my shoes don't fit either so I wear flip flops.

I have begun to wash some baby things and I got a frightening thought about jinxing things! The crib bedding was a big one for me. Just seeing all 3 cribs set up makes me really excited and also a bit nervous.

Christine-yaaay for baby clothes! And it is soo not hard to spend a lot when you are shopping for a little one that you have waited for, for so long! I snuck back to Babies R Us today and bought an outfit I saw when we registered that Dh would not let me get. I also went shopping and got an ottoman for the nursery and material to make curtains to match the valance that came with the bedding set...it is all just beginning to seem real! I just cant wait to get to 24 weeks because I know that is a major milestone and maybe I can breath easier, then again I probably won't! Tomorrow I plan on going to garage sales just to see if I can find anything good for the baby's room. Happy Memorial Day ladies!!!

Hope everyone has a wonderful Memorial Day! We are off to the boonies to camp with my husband's family. Am I thrilled? Well, no. My idea of camping is at the Hampton Inn! But, I know that my son will have a blast! I will have a lot of catching up to do when I get back!

Tracy - i am with you, my version of camping is at a resort

Sarah - 24 wks is just around the corner.

Shelley - Carters was at an outlet type mall here - i never new they had their own store until we went there - we never really go to the mall to shop. mostly the base exchange, target or walmart for us. i just could pass up the deals they were having! most of the clothes we purchased was 3-12 months - with everything being appropriate for the weather when the baby is that old.

Any one have any BBQ plans for tomorrow? we are going to have a few friends over tonight and grill some filets yummy!!!

I usually go camping every July/August for 4 or 5 days out in the middle of nowhere, I have done it since I was a baby with my family...and when I talk about nowhere it is seriously miles and miles away from civilization. We go to the Adirondack mountains and when you get to the check in area you have to drive about an hour into the woods...guess I won't be going this year though, which makes me kind of sad, but DH said maybe we can go to a local state park, but it just won't be the same.

I actually for once do not have memorial day plans, we might just finish up the yard work we started today. I planted a little in my flower beds, but did not do nearly as much as I did last year. I am just too tired and it is hard with all the leaning and kneeling and my belly getting in the way, lol...but the flowers look so pretty! Well I am off to make homemade pizza for dinner, my mouth is watering already!

I hope eveyone has been having a great weekend!! We have been working on the nursery this weekend. Actually I should say DH has been doing a great job. He completed installing the closet until. I love how it can be adjustable. You can add wire baskets and cubes or more shelves. There are so many variations. The only thing I have to do is put the rest of the baby clothing and items in and decorate the walls. There are some lady bug decals to match the bedding that I will get along with a couple of shelves. We are relieved that we could fit all 3 cribs and a change table in our small nursery!!

Wow Shelley your nursery looks amazing! I love the bedding and your wardrobe looks so organized. Where did you get the baskets for the change table and closet from? They look perfect for what I'm looking for also...I just don't know where is the best and cheapest place to purchase them.

By the way, when do your GD test results come back? Do they test everyone for this (meaning, do I have this test ahead too) or is it just because you are having multiples?

I guess my pregnancy so far, other than the heartbeat issue, must be going pretty normally as whenever I see the OB all she does is get me to pee on a stick, then she takes my blood pressure, listens to the baby and off I go. Is anyone having anything more done? I guess this is the usual for a singleton...I'm just not used to being normal in this area of things I guess! lol

I was going to ask you girls a more...ummm...how can I say it...personal question about the 'hair down there'. This might be TMI, but I'm one of those people that likes to keep it well maintained, but I'm noticing as the bump slowly gets bigger that this could get more difficult. Which makes me realize I'll be a hairy monster by the time I give birth...which I'm a bit mortified about. But then...are any of you brave enough to have bikini waxes while heavily pregnant at the end?? I'm not sure I would be...but I'd love to hear if anyone else is worried about this stuff or if its just me being silly.

Shelley-it looks great!!! The closet is fantastic and I love how it looks with the baby clothes hanging in it! Pretty soon you will have three little babies sleeping in those cribs, well hopefully they will be sleeping right?! I have the same closet system in the babies room right now but because of the size of the closet we are going to take it out and do some custom built-ins, but I do love how it can be adjusted! Now I have the itch to get the nursery ready, but I have to wait for DH to refinish the floor, which is his project next weekend...oh I am just so happy to see your pictures, it just makes this more real that we are really having babies soon!

Alana-I think it is pretty standard to get a GD test...I have to go have mine done tomorrow morning. And about the down there question, my aunt had a wax done before she gave birth, but I am a non waxer and just have a personal shaver that trims and have been using that for the whole pregnancy, so I guess it depends on how comfortable you feel about it. I am sure there are many women who get waxed throughout their pregnancy...funny the things we have to think about now huh? And also remember that the only one that will see it will be your Ob and the nurses and I am sure they have seen it all!
