Woohoo, yes Sarah!! Congrats..good to see you here. Are you getting excited? How are you feeling?

This is a really cute website that explains each week of your pregnancy and how Mom, Dad and Baby are doing! This week my babies are blueberries (although they always will be my little chickpeas!)
Your Pregnancy: Week 7 for Baby

Shannon, sorry to hear about the vomitting. So far I only feel tired and I mean TIRED. I wake up tired but I can't complain because I do get time to relax.....and who knows what's around the corner as it is still very early.

larklynn- YAY! One strong heartbeat. That is fantastic. I wish that my RE would have waited until this week to do my 1st u/s so I wouldn't have to wait another week to see the heartbeat. I hate waiting.

Welcome Sarah! Congrats on your sencond beta!

Well how is everyone feeling? I might have hyperemesis (uncontrolled vomiting). I hope that it is just a stomach bug. The ICU doc at my hospital had to put an IV in me last night at work and give my IV fluids. I couldn't stop vomiting. I've only done it twice today so I hope it is slowing down. Yuck! Hope everyone is doing well.

Holy Cow! I can't believe I just found this thread!! What's wrong with me?? Okay if I join??

Doing pretty good here! I met with my OB's nurse last week to go over my medical history, got my weight and blood taken and that was that. My first actual appointment with my OB isn't until March 5th!! That's my 13th week!! My DH is gone snowmobiling in Wyoming the week before, otherwise, we would have done it then, but we get to see baby at this appt. so they said he would probably like to be there. Its going to be a long wait til March!!

I have a question because DH and I are debating over when to tell people and who to tell...so when did you all tell your parents, siblings, and friends? I told a few of my friends but not my parents or siblings...I guess we are just afraid something will happen before we are out of the 1st trimester. We were going to tell our parents Friday, because it's my moms b-day, but now I am thinking we should wait until next Tuesday after the u/s. I think part of my apprehension is due to the fact that I obsess over things that might happen, even though I try not to it's hard to ignore the possibilities. Does the obsessing ever stop?! And again when did you tell people and did you just tell certain people first and wait for others? Thanks ladies!

Hey Ladies!

Sorry for being MIA - I just had to say goodbye to my almost 100 year old grandma and grandpa who are moving to GA from San Diego in a week. It was a rough weekend. And I so wanted to share our news but knew it was too soon.

It sounds like things are progressing well here.

I am getting nervous for our 2nd u/s on Wednesday. I still don't really feel pregnant. I just pray everything is alright.

WELCOME to those joining us! Excited to see this thread growing with Ladies!

Larklynn, congrats on your healthy little baby. That is great news!!

Welcome Angela and Sarah/sarahelaine, congrats on your pregnancy. Can't wait to hear about you little miracles! Sarah, yes it still feels sureal for me too! It's an amazing feeling, that is for sure.

Sarahelaine57, I personally do not think that the obsessing ever stops...not with me anyways. As far as telling people you should do it when you feel comfortable, there is no rule. DH and were going to wait a bit longer but word got out that we had done ivf and then everyone was wondering if we were pg. We told family first and then our close friends. We have not told them that we are having more than one!! Good luck. Enjoy the journey.

MattsMom, sorry you had a sad goodbye with grandma and grandpa, I can understand how hard it must have been especially when you wanted to share your good news. I wish you a great, healthy u/s on Wednesday. I am sure that everything is all right. Some people just don't get a lot of symptoms.

Christine thank you for the Dr info. You are so knowledgable and kind. Your little angels are not only looking over you,, but through you they are helping others like myself. Until you posted the word perinatologist, I had never heard of it.

I don't have an appt date yet but my Dr called me this morning and told me I would be referred to Dr Khalil Tabsh. He is a perinatologist, has 26 years experience and has amazing credentials. He is the Director of Maternal-Fetal Medicine at UCLA. I am told that he is really busy, the wait is long and he usually does not see patients until they are 15 wks. I am trying to get in to see him earlier. Whew, I feel much more comfortable now knowing I will be in good hands when the time comes!
