Laura, I'm sorry that you lost baby Jayson. Baby Kaylee does sound like a strong little girl, I hope you and your DH are holding up. You are in my prayers.

Amy - I just PM'd you back. Great idea.

Claudia - soooo very cool that you and DP got to see your belly move. I see that you finally decided on her name.

Shellie - love the pics. Technology always amazes me. We are thinking about doing a 3D/4D u/s around 27-28 weeks.

We did decide on the name. It was the only one that really felt right to both of us (after so much discussion!). It was hard, but we are happy with it.

My SIL delivered her twin babies (in 2002) at 25 weeks, one of the twins didn't make it but the other twin, although weak and as tiny as a dollar bill, he fought and proved everyone what a little warrior he was. He spent several weeks, I think it was four months in the hospital, not sure how many weeks at the NICU. If you look at him now, he is a robust and healthy 6 year-old boy.
He was born in 2002, medical science was good then and imagine how much better it has gotten now in 2008.
Laura, I hope this story gives you a little bit of reassurance that everything can be possible with a good medical team. Please have faith. Your little Kaylee is under a good watch.

Melissa, you are very observative , I missed on Claudia's baby girl's name, oh lala, love it!

My mind is not thinking straight this week and I feel a little out of sorts, thinking about different stuff. I just don't like to have this funky mood.

Happy Friday everyone. Father's Day is almost here.

Well I had an OB appointment today and was told that I haven't gained enough weight and I need to start eating more. They want me to gain 1 pound a week and I've only gained about 8 pounds total.

I was also told that they will not let me go to my due date. I will either be induced or scheduled for a c-section 7-10 days before my due date. They will make a decision on a c-section around 36 weeks. Looks like Amara will be here somewhere around October 17th.

I've also been getting bad headaches this past week. Doc said it could be my vision changing or even sinuses. Has anyone else been getting headaches?

Natasha is a beautiful name! I love it!

Cat - I have been getting headaches this past week. I think it's allergies. I've just been using a sinus rinse, and that helps a bit. I'm trying to stay away from any medication...but I may have to give in one of these days. Did your OB say why they won't let you go to your due date?

They won't let me go to my due date due since I am considered high risk due to my previous ectopics and miscarriage. They are also considering a c-section due to surgery.

Melissa, how do you feel about having a c-section? Of course I am not aware of the details of your previous surgery, but it doesn't make sense to me that previous miscarriages and ectopic pregnancies would warrant a c-section or an early delivery. Of course there may be details I am not privy to or you may feel more comfortable with a c-section than a vaginal delivery but if a c-section is not how you envisioned giving birth you may want to consider a second opinion.

Laura-I am so sorry about baby Jayson. I am praying for Kaylee she sounds like a trooper.

Thanks for welcoming me onto your thread. I will take some time to read up on everyone's progress.

I do have a question is anyone still puking? Sorry for being so vulgar! I thought it would be done by now. My baby is growing just fine so I am not too concerned, just curious.

Welcome, Jen!! I'm so glad you have joined our little group! I think your little boy just broke our 11 to 11 boy/girl tie!

In answer to your question, no, I'm no longer dealing with morning sickness. It stopped around week 14 for me. I do feel queasy every now & then, but it doesn't last more than an hour or two and is infrequent. Have you talked to your doctor about it?

Claudia - thanks for asking. We are actually Ok with a c-section. We were told due to other medical reasons as well as ones listed above that we may have to have one.

Jen. I stopped puking around week 14 as well. Once in a while I do throw up but it's very infrequent.

Hope everyone has a great weekend.
