Hi Ladies!
Christie - I can relate with you. Although it is cool now that I can feel Jaden kicking every day, I feel bad saying I just can't wait for the whole pregnancy thing to be over and just get to the baby part. I'm trying to take it one day at a time and enjoy the moment because we're not 100% convinced that we'll try for #2. Having my niece live with us during this pregnancy I have see how hard it is to go through the infertility roller coaster with an infant/toddler even when she has her mom to take care of her. For that reason we want to spread them out in years if we have 2, but then again I don't want to be too close to 40. I also think that about the time things settle down with work after having Jaden, do I really want to turn around and do it again? So many things to think about, it gets overwhelming at times. Anyways, on to more fun topics - Craig's list. I bought from two different people. The first transaction was less impressive. There was a error in the website posting and I ended up paying more than I wanted too for a small box of clothes. However, the second transaction MORE than made up for it. The 2nd person didn't know if she was having a girl or boy so she had clothes for both. I bought a HUGE garbage bag of new clothes (0 - 3 months mostly) for $15. For that price, I didn't mind the 30 min drive to pick them up. Even with the mix up of the 1st transaction, I still paid $50 all together for what I'm sure is almost $200 in newborn clothes. Gliders - this was one of the main reasons I went to BRU this weekend so I could actually try them out. That reminds me, I need to update my registry with the one I liked the best! Glucose - yep, doing mine the week of my next appt when I will be 27 or 28 weeks. Do we have to do fasting for the 3 hour test? California ladies - how are you doing with all the smoke? My throat is on fire! ![]()

Oh Christie, I am sorry! I certainly didn't want to make you feel bad. There are days that my pregnant belly gets in the way. Every morning is a true reminder of how I can't see my coochie anymore to give it a good shaving
Other days, like today, when my allergies are kicking bad and I can't take my regular allergy meds, I end up sneezing like crazy, and leaking my undies, ugh! I often think that I need to appreciate my belly since this could be the only time that I am pregnant, I hope not but I will never know until later. Tabitha, Glad everything is okay with your baby! I am scheduled to take my glucose test in the next two weeks and to my surprise today, at the OB appointment, he told me that I have not gained one ounce at all since my last visit four weeks ago, hmmm! I feel heavier though and as much as I try not to, I feel I am waddling when I walk. The doctor is not worried about my weight.

Netty, you in no way bothered me with what you said. We are all in this together, aches, pains and unshaven hoohas!!
![]() I had my appt today, all was good with my b/w, bloodpressure and urine. The babys heartbeat is good and strong too. I talked with the Dr about my stomach issues, and he seems to think that I am eating to much at one time. He told me to "nibble" all day instead of eating a meal, I just don't know how that is possible when I work 12 hours a day. I kinda have to eat when I can. I will try cutting down even more on portion size, and he also said to try sleeping propped up on pillows. He didn't really want to discuss any other options besides the Pepcid AC, so I will see how the next month goes and then we will discuss it some more. Also, I asked him about the 3D/4D ultrasounds, if he was against it or not. He basically gave me the "using medical technology for recreational purposes is frowned upon" speech, but then told me that he is liberal and if I wanted to do it, he wouldn't tell me no. So, I called and made an appt for 7/27(a Sunday?) for the 3D ultrasound. I am excited, I just can't imagine not seeing her again until she is born. Laura, I keep Kaylee in my prayers and hope they are able to get the central line in with no problems. Thanks for keeping us updated. I must say I feel stupid for complaining about how I feel after all you have been through. Sorry for the long post, it has just been a long day. I hope everyone is doing well and that you all had a good day!

Laura - so glad to see you post. I've been keeping track of Kaylee's progress on the other thread. I continue to keep her in my prayers daily. She's such a strong little girl.
Christie - I know what you mean about wanting to get it over. I am so thankful for being pregnant and I love feeling Amara move around but I really want to meet her and as Holly said I'm ready to get to the baby part. Tabitha - love the crib. Dellemma - glad to hear everything is okay with your little girl. As for a glider I went to BRU and found an upholstered glider I really like. It only comes in Sage color which won't match the nursery so I may just have to get a cover for it. It is so comfortable I could sleep in it. Don't know when I'll be doing my glucose test. My next OB appt is on July 11th and they didn't mention anything at the last appt so I'm guessing it'll be at the appt after.

Unshaven hoohaas!!....you ladies are fabulous!! :-)
Tabitha - I'm so glad all went well at your ultrasound! You must be very relieved. Laura - It's great to hear from you. You truly amaze me with your strength! Christie - I sure hope your stomach issues go away soon. Hopefully the small meals will do the trick. Holly - Ugh...this smoke is HORRIBLE, my eyes are permanently red! My DH & I were at our mid-pregnancy class last night at Kaiser and our teacher said it perfectly - "We are now living in the middle of a campfire". When I did the 3-hour glucose test 10 weeks ago I did have to fast. And, you can't drink any water during the 3+ hours ayou have to wait at the Lab after drinking your drink. The no water thing was tough.

Laura (Kory) - You are amazing!
Laura (Eriksgirl) - The breezes kicked up tonight down here in Stockton, so maybe that will help get the smoke moving out of here. Since the fires basically surround you and I, I think the campfire example is perfect!

Oh, I am so sorry you ladies are having to deal with all that smoke. It would drive me nuts!
Well, last night I only ate a 1/2 a sandwich for supper, and needless to say, I was up most of the night with stomach ache and indigestion so bad it hurt. This morning is much the same, I have take Pepcid and three Rolaids already this morning. I hope the day gets better!! Maybe all of you will have a good one!

Well girls, I am offically miserable. Went to the doctor yesterday because of the shooting vaginal pains and right sided pain I was having that moved around to my back and discovered I have kidney stones. The pain is horrible and although I was against it at first I am definitely taking the painkillers - I don't think it is even bearable otherwise. They said that the medicine is perfectly safe for babies. So, I am unfortunately laid up in bed (only able to do this sitting right when the pill kicks in) and using sick/leave time but there is really no option. Of course this is the one week my dh is out of town but I have a stash of food and drinks and medicines upstairs with me so I should be ok. Just wanted to let you all know why I have been and probably will be MIA for a while!

Fossie - I am SO sorry!!! I had kidney stones a few years ago and they are awful. I'm glad you have some pain relief and I hope they pass soon. Take good care of yourself and enjoy your downtime, if you can.
Holly - The breeze last night definitely seemed to help a little bit with the smoke. I heard on the news today that they are expecing more lightening storms tomorrow and anticipate even more fires. I think it's going to be a long summer. I'm 24 weeks today....YEA!!! I can't believe we are going to be in our 3rd trimester so soon!
