Wow, active list today! I had such a busy day (tuesdays are the worst at work!) I didn't check here or even my personal email.

The heat wasn's as bad as they predicted in the city. There has been a nice breeze, so it has stayed cooler. On the other hand I just run EXTRA hot these days. I sleep with the sheet only and can't wear my lab coat in clinic either.

I was thinking about the vaginal exams and I realized I am so desensitized from having so many transvaginal ultrasounds I could care less who sticks what up me these days. Terrible isn't it?

Congrats on the negative glucose tests - keep us posted all you ladies who have tests (1 hr and 3 hr too!)

Caroline, I forgot to mention how cute your belly is.

Melissa, you look beautiful. I hope you and DH had a great time with your parents.

I am not having a 3D/4D scans so I am looking forward to seeing your little ones.

Christie, I still remember the photo you had for avatar before you replaced it for the one of you and your DH. In that previous avatar, you were wearing a hot pink top and you look gorgeous! So, we need to see your baby bump, photo friendly or not photo friendly, give us the honor to meet Bailee Grace (WTG in keeping that name!) before she arrives .

Good morning ladies,

Here are a few pictures of the nursery. We are calling it Amara's garden.

The first one is a bit dark, I'll try to take one tonight to see if it comes out lighter. Still much to do but getting there.

Hope everyone has a great day.

Amara's garden is absolutely beautiful!!!

I'm trying to get up enough nerve to take a picture of my naked belly and put it on here. I have a tatoo of a dolphin that is pretty much turning into a whale at this point. It went from 2 in to 8 in with my daughter!

Melissa, Awww! I love Amara's garden. It is so sweet and romantic at the same time. You and DH are way ahead of me and I am supposed to give birth before you.

BZOE, you made me giggle with your tattoo whale
I have a tat of a butterfly on my right side of my belly button and it has lost its true shape. Talking about tats, I am seriously considering of having one done in the back of my neck after Ella arrives and they will be her tiny feet prints with her DOB. DH is totally opposed to me adding another tattoo to my body but either is the tattoo or the tattoo

I had my f/u appt today and I have gained 4 lbs from my last visit in June. However, now, my belly is measuring too big (although I failed to ask what would have been the normal measurement), so I will have an ultrasound on July 29th to find out why the baby is measuring big. I hope it is nothing.

It is hot and humid here!

Laura, stay cool! 106 degrees is torturous!

Holly - thanks for posting the link about Laura's post. Unbelievable that after all she's been through to have to question if the hospital made an error is horrible.

Had my three hour test - pretty boring, started and finished a book while there - but all in all not too bad. The worst was having blood drawn four times because I only have one arm that they are able to get good sticks in. Get results on Monday so I am going to enjoy whatever I want at my shower this weekend.

Claudia - I have started getting really hot too, especially at night. My dog sleeps curled against me and I can barely stand the heat radiating off her and I make my dh turn the air down to 65!!!

They did my measurement yesterday and I am at 38 - wow! DH has been telling me that I look 8 and a 1/2 months preggo but I don't think I look that big yet.

Kristin,
I don't know how big I am measuring. I guess I didn't know to ask that question. The doctor who saw me yesterday was not my regular doctor, and he was very quick and hard to understand. He just seemed not to want to be bothered. I know that he measured me from the pubic bone to where my belly starts and then from one side to another side. When I ask that question next 07/29, Am I supposed to get the measurements in inches or in weeks?

Okay, here is a photo of me taken before dinner today. As you can see, my breast is almost gone, I look like i have no boobs and the only bra that can at least give me some decent size breast is the push up bra (Victoria's Secret) but they are too tight to wear them.

Netty - the official term for what they are measuring is the fundal height and they should give it to you in cm and you convert that to weeks, i.e., I am 38 cm which is equivalent to 38 weeks.

Looking good! I hear you on the breast thing - for the first time ever I am wearing a pretty large bra but compared to my gargantuan belly I look like I have no (.)(.)!
