That is good to hear - not that you guys are sick and tired feeling but that I am not alone! They were supposed to do an iron test when they did the 1 hour GD test but they only took one vial and I think they forgot. I am going to ask him this time - I have felt that my iron has been kind of low throughout because I was getting really cold easily all the time - now though I am hot at night even with the ac set on 65!!! I definitely need to try to eat more regularly because eating three meals is just not cutting it - I get too full too soon and then get really hungry not too much later so I definitely need to start the eating smaller portions througout the day - and probably not like I did today which was doughnut, peanut m&m's, lunch, snickers!!! I was definitely craving chocolate today - probably because I feel so tired and my body knows that is its only source of caffeine!

It does sound like your iron levels are low. Hopefully your doctor can confirm & iron supplements will get you feeling better soon!

I agree that small meals throughout the day are the way to go. If I eat too much in one setting...I won't eat again that day. There just isn't enough room for more food later. I'm pretty good about eating small meals during the week, but it's harder on the weekends for some reason.

I am definitely getting to the point that big meals = indigestion. Of course I wait too long to eat, so I am starving, and then I eat too much. I do better during the week also, I try to take yogurt and fruit to work for snacks.

Here are my pictures from today's ultrasound.

yay for new pics Tabitha! BTW - do you go by Tabby? I have a friend that does and I catch myself going to call you that all the time.

I hear you ladies on the food thing. I need to do better with eating small meals. The indegestion is back with force and overeating isn't helping. That's also when I tend to eat candy and I'm NOT normally a chocolate or candy person. LOL!

Holly - I am not normally a chocolate person either or really sweets much at all but these days I find myself standing in the candy aisle not being able to decide because everything looks so good!

Great pics Tabitha - I bet they look so different on screen now that they are bigger and more "baby-like." I can't wait until my growth scan next week and I am really hoping for big babies!!!

I've definitely experienced the indigestion but I don't get all the hype about Tums, they seem to do nothing. My dh is addicted to them so I just steal one of his when it gets bad but see no difference! My mantra is definitely becoming "you can do this, just ten more weeks."

Holly - no one has ever really called me Tabby, although my step-dad did call me "Crabby Tabby" during the moody teenage years, and that has sort of stuck as a joke!

I have developed a little bit of a sweet tooth also, although for me it is cookies. I've been buying refrigerated cookie dough and making a few every other day or so. I'm afraid if I bought a package of cookies I would eat the whole thing. My current favorites are cranberry oatmeal walnut cookies (Kroger brand). Yummy!

Tabitha - those cookies sound delicious!

Amy- Sorry you have the blahs. You have been through so much these past few weeks. I'm not surprised you aren't feeling like yourself. I hope you have a wonderful appointment today!

Well, it's 4:45am here & I haven't been able to sleep for the past few hours. My left hip & leg are so achy & uncomfortable. Ugh! The only comfortable position I can find is sitting on the floor, but that's not so great for sleep. O'well...I'm just hoping I can take a nap later. Does anyone have any good remedies for these kinds of aches & pains?

laura, it's almost 7 here...but i have been up for a couple of hours for the same reasons! i just couldn't get comfy at all. i am so sick of sleeping on my side! do you have the pregnancy pillow? it isn't the best, but some nights it helps me.

TMI: (although we banned that term, didn't we?)
all the meds from my kidney stones made me so incredibly constipated for almost an entire week. starting last night i am having the opposite problem. guh! why can't it just be normal and not one extreme or the other?

laura, i just thought of something. my SIL said she started sleeping on the couch sitting up towards the end of her pregnancy. not every night, but just here and there to help her legs not ache. do you have a recliner? maybe that would be more comfy?

Hi Amy - I do have pregnancy pillows, and they do help most nights. I don't know what was going on last night. I ended up sleeping sitting up on my couch last night for about 2 hours....it was SO much more comfy than my bed. Thank you for the suggestions!

Sorry to hear your side effects from the medication has been bad. It would be nice if our bodies could find a happy medium during this process!

Amy - the meds did the same thing to me, not the stopped up but the opposite and of course my freak out nature said doesn't this happen before labor!!! It has gotten better. I have been pretty blah lately too though - talked to my mom on the phone last night and she must have told me to cheer up 10 times or more! I think it is a combo of being pretty uncomfortable, not getting much sleep (my issue is that my side aches and everything goes numb but I can't even lay on my back for a minute before I can't breathe), and I am starting to feel overwhelmed at all of the stuff I need to get done around the house and at work before these munchkins make their appearance. I guess it comes and goes - hope everyone gets to feeling better!!!

Amy, good luck at your appointment. I too get worried but excited too cause I get to see them!

Woohoo!! I passed my one-hour glucose test!! My results were 118.

Everyone has been telling me that I am going to have a huge baby, and when my dr measured me today I measured at 34 weeks!! (I am 28 weeks) He said it could be just the way the baby is laying, or we could just be having a big baby. He said we would do an ultrasound if he is measuring ahead at my next appointment. He didn't seem overly concerned, so should I be worried about this?
