Tabitha - keep us posted. I don't see the harm in doing a swab test and it might put your mind at ease just to know, ya know.

Christie - yes, we know that we are very lucky that we have a very large room that we are using as the nursery. It is an odd feature of the house that the room is the same size as our master bedroom and has a large walk-in closet but it is perfect for a twin nursery! I don't think the pictures show just how big that dresser piece is and it doesn't overpower the room at all.

Hi Ladies - you've all been busy on here! We've been busy the last few days making a start on the girls room.... so the house is a mess right now and I have my FIL coming to visit tomorrow!!!

Shellie - I love the nursery, it's sooooo roomy!!

Tabitha and Amy _ i'm glad you're both ok. Keep us updated Tabitha on the test results

Holly - I hear you about the dentist.... the same thing happened to me with dd, to the point where they just sent me home because I almost fainted! My DH is finishing up dental school at the moment, so during this pg I've just had him check me!

Brandy - glad the contractions are being taken care of

As for tours/classes - you girls are showing me up, I've done nothing yet! I only plan on touring the hospital because DD was born in Colorado, so this is a totally new place. I should call and make an appt!

I can't believe I'm 30 weeks tomorrow!! That feels like a milestone! I've really got to try and make myself slow down too.... I feel great, but am noticing more tiredness/achiness and pelvic pressure, but I know it's because I'm not very good at making myself take a rest! Will try and be better at that! Take care everyone!

Looks like Dr. A disagrees with Dr. R, so I am scheduled for the swab test tomorrow afternoon. The nurse tells me the results take 24 hours, which will seem like forever! I suppose it is better to go ahead and take the test.

Tabitha-That's crazy...24 hours??? WHAT?? I got mine back as soon as 45 minutes. The longest was 2 hours. I hate it that you have to wait that long. It'll be ok though. I was actually in active labor and it was still negative!

Tabitha I'm sorry you have to wait so long!

I found a new sleeping arrangement last night and I've been so excited to share it with the rest of you that have also had sleeping issues! I used the body pillow at my lower back and then piled up the pillows so I basically fell asleep sitting up last night. About midnight I turned on my side, but still fairly upright and slept until the alram at 5:30 this morning!!!!! I was so excited and felt so rested

Tabitha - glad to hear you are going ahead and getting it done, doesn't hurt anything but sorry you have to wait so long for results!

Holly - my sleeping experiment on the couch last night did not work at all - I'll have to try your way tonight! Although, I've found that every third day or so I sleep pretty well just because I am so darn tired!!!

Went to the doc today for a growth ultrasound and routine appointment and everything is looking good. Both babies are 2 pounds, 14 ounces so almost 3 lbs each!!! My cervix is at 3.7 so that is excellent news and I am measuring 40 weeks ! The best news of all was that they could not see the spot on Katie's heart anymore - woohoo!

Here are some pics from today - Tyler was being shy so the only one we have of him has his hand over his face.

Shellie - I love the pictures, so cute!! Glad to hear that everything is looking good!

I had the swab test today, and I called my doctor at 8 pm (per his instructions) and he had not received the results yet. I am going to have another ultrasound at the hospital tomorrow to make sure they didn't miss something with the placenta, which could have caused the bleeding. They will also be checking the baby's estimated size since he is measuring so large.

Fossie - the pictures are great. Awesome news about the spot on Katie's heart - I'm so glad to hear that. Wow measuring 40 weeks already. Sounds like the babies are growing nicely.

Amy - thanks for taking care of everything.

Tours and classes - we have 3 classes and the tour in mid September.

As for sleep it seems that DH is having trouble sleeping due to my SNORING - he said he's had to go sleep in the spare room the last few nights. I'm usually not a snorer but seems like lately it's out of my control. The funny thing is that I've had to deal with his snoring for the past 7 years he can put up with my snoring over the next few months.

Good Morning Ladies!

Shellie, yay! for the great results on Katie's heart. Your babies look so comfy inside. You are almost there girl

Tabitha, good luck today I hope everything is well with the swab test results and the ultrasound today brings peace to your mind.

ah. . . sleeping arrangements, I don't know how I will find comfort for the next few weeks I have left. Every night is just more uncomfortable than the previous night. I have always been a light sleeper, so not sleeping well lately makes it even worse. I will have to try new positions.

Have your babies been not as active as before? I feel that Ella is not moving as much as she used to. I don't want to worry about this but I am curious. I wonder if the lack of activity is because she is running out of space in her little oven.

Shellie- Awesome news about Katie's heart!! And the pictures are wonderful!! I can't wait to go Sunday and see Bailee again!

Melissa-My dh has been on the couch for the most part since I've been preggos. Just because he falls asleep there and I don't bother waking him. He slept in the bed last night and this morning he was complaining about me snoring, stealing the covers, tossing and getting up too many times to potty. So I guess its back to the couch for him!!

Netty- Bailee seems to be moving pretty regularly still. She has always been really active and she hasn't slowed down any that I can tell. The movements are different though, more wiggling than kicking but when she kicks, she is pretty forceful!!!

Hope you all have a good day, I am taking a 1/2 day off today to go get the carpet and some other things needed to finish the nursery "building" this weekend. Hopefully by Sunday, we will be ready for furniture finally!!!
