Ahh - pedicures. The funny thing was that at my shower a couple of people asked me how I painted my toenails so well - pedicure, duh - it was a highlight!

Hey Ladies -

Tabitha - Your little George looks great! I know leaving him at the hospital will be so hard...but soon he will be home with you!

Amy & Holly- have a wonderful time at your showers! You'll have to tell us all about them!

Christie - My DH is off on a boy's weekend (camping & rafting), so I'm home alone as well. It's actually been kind of nice so far. :-) Tomorrow I'm going to do some light yard work and begin working on my scrapbook. I've never scrapbooked before...we'll see how it goes!

Melissa & BZOE - Good luck with your glucose test results.

Ahh, a pedicure sounds wonderful right now! Having someone massage my legs would be worth it alone. Is anyone else having leg issues? I don't get cramps, but they are SO achy at night, especially my hips. I have had a horrible time trying to sleep lately - not even the couch or recliner are comfortable. Hopefully this is a passing phase.

A client of mine told me about a baby website & I wanted to share it with you guys. It has a bunch of random stuff, but the Liquidation Center has some really great deals. The store itself is located about 5 mintutes from my office, but they will ship anywhere:
Baby News Online

Have a great weekend!

Quiet day on here for us! Just thought I'd share a quick story -

Went for my mani/pedi this morning and it was heavenly! They have these great massage chairs for the pedicures and Jaden LOVED it! He was kicking and moving the whole time.

Amy - hope your shower was fun!

Hi ladies,
Baby George got his breathing tube out yesterday and he now has a CPAP. They told me he was fighting his tube, trying to breathe a little more on his own. He also developed an ear infection and his ear drum ruptured. They tell me this can heal, and they are watching for signs of other infection, and he is on antibiotics. He also has jaundice, so he is under the billi lamps.

I have been pumping every 3-4 hours to try to get my milk to come in, and it finally did early yesterday morning. When I went to visit him yesterday the nurse gave him a little of my milk.

We finally agreed to name him George Edward R. IV. I was totally against this, but now that he is here, I have found that it doesn't matter to me so much, and it is very important to DH. Everyone was already calling him Baby George anyway, and I have been calling him my sweet pea.

I am not supposed to drive for two weeks to allow the c-section to heal. The hospital is a 40 minute drive from our house, and DH has to work, so I might cheat and drive a little sooner, as long as I feel strong enough. My parents are coming on Friday, so they will help with the housework and driving for a few days.

I hope you are all having a wonderful, relaxing weekend.

Tabitha - The fact that Little George has moved to a CPAP is great news! I'm sorry to hear about his ear, I hope it heals soon. My DH has had ear problems since he was a baby and actually ruptured his ear drum (again) last year. It healed in about 2 weeks. I think it's one of those things that sounds much scarier than it is. I'm glad you have family coming soon and I hope you are able to get to the hospital as often as you can to see your precious boy!

Tabitha-I am glad Baby George is progressing, but sorry to hear about his ear drum. I hope it heals quickly.

My girls weekend was nice, I just layed around on the couch ALL weekend. But hey, my feet look much better!!

I have three of my showers scheduled, one for 8/15, 8/16 and 8/23. I am supposed to have two more, but I haven't been given a date yet.

Here is a picture that my BF took, it is the only one since I have been preggo that is half way decent. I wanted to share at least one photo with you guys!!

Christie, you look like one 'hot momma'. Just to see an update of your preggo figure was worth the wait.

Holly and Amy, please let us know all the fun you had at your showers

JenD, that you pass your test.

Tabitha, sorry to hear about your little prince's ears. He will get better and I am so looking forward to getting his daily update.

Happy gloomy Monday! The weather reports forecasted a nice, sunny, no humidity yay! Monday but so far it looks like it is cloudy and dark. Call me silly, but I feel that my good kharma (sp?) for the week starts on how Monday's weather is . So far, it is not looking good.

Hope all the showers were fun this weekend!

Anyone else feeling loads of pressure/achiness and pains in the nether region!? It's getting pretty uncomfortable for me, especially if I've been stood up for a while or when I first get up after sitting..... I didn't have this with dd though.
