Ok, TMI but seriously, I can't go to the bathroom hardly at all already. When I do it isn't pleasant. I really think that is alot of my issues with my stomach, but I have always had issues even before I was doing fertility treatments. My mom is the same way. My Dr won't allow me to take laxatives, and the stool softners doesn't work for me. I drink all day long, that doesn't work. I eat ALOT of green leafy veggies, but I think that since I have been preggo that I don't eat as well as I should. Hopefully the food will help!
Holly- I am so glad I am not the only one that struggles with undies!!! Bending is terrible right now, and putting on undies without bending at all is impossible. Well, last night was not fun and Bailee Grace was the culprit. She started kicking and moving about 8:30 last night and I woke up every hour and she was kicking and moving and having a good ole time in there, she did that until today about 1:00. Then she finally calmed down. But she packs a punch and a kick and when she moves like that it feels weird and uncomfortable. And she must have kept kicking or hitting my bladder because I would feel like I need to pee so bad and it would only be a trickle. I don't know why she was so active, but I hope she sleeps well tonight!!!

Christie-
Will your Dr let you use Miralax. I have had issues since I was 15 so i know how you feel. My dr told me if I get desperate (which I have many times) I can use miralax. It helps a lot. I also eat a lot of fiber one products. Good luck

Holly - you look wonderful & it looks like your shower was great!
My rings still fit (unless I've eaten too much salt) but I think my ring-wearing days are numbered. I have "right-hand" ring that my DH bought me a few years back and I think I might just start wearing that one on my left hand. Christie - I'm so sorry to hear about your "issues" right now. I have found that the Fiber 1 brand products help me A LOT. Those & water are what are keeping things moving. Tabitha - I love all the pics of George! Your little boy is so adorable. And I just noticed your new ticker...that is so exciting! Tonight is our 3D/4D ultrasound!! I'm so excited to see our little guy! My parents are coming with us and I'm so looking forward to seeing their reaction. I'll definitely post pics tomorrow.

Christie - I think the thing that really helped me is the pre-natal with the stool softener in it and I have been so, so thirsty lately that I am literally chugging bottles and bottles of water so I am much more regular these days.
I am so grumpy now because I just cannot sleep - I am up every hour peeing or puking (acid reflux induced), or just aching and can't get comfortable so I am definitely preparing early for the no sleep thing. I got stung by a wasp on my stomach while swimming on Tuesday and that doesn't help because now there is pain on the side that I am used to laying on because of the welt from the sting! I went to the doctor yesterday and I am now starting weekly appointments!!! I have an ultrasound next week to know more about growth and dilation but so far everything looks good and he told me that if the babies are born now they will probably only be in the nicu for 2 to 3 weeks which is reassuring!

Tabitha, George is lovely and doing so well!!!! I am so thrilled for you! I hope that every day he does better brings you a little relief.
So I had a little freak out last night. You guys know I get a lot of BH contractions. Well last night I woke up to pee around 4 am and I got back in bed and started having contractions again. This time every other one was more mentrual cramp like - not really apinful, jsut a little achy. I sat up, since lying down - even on my left side seems often seems to make them worse. I was going to call the hospital but then I decided to get up and drink some water. I drank an entire liter, sat up for awhile and then they seemed to settle down, so I went back to bed. They went away completely after that. I try and try to keep up with my water/fluid intake, but I always seem to be behind. I know becuase when I am the contractions go crazy. I guess I will have to try harder and plan to drink a glass of water when I wake up to pee at night. Grrrrr. Christie, for constipation, I am a fan of benefiber. It is like metamucil, but it is tasteless and non-gritty. You can mix it directly into water, or tea or coffee or pasta sauce or whatever. It won't change the flavor or consistency of what you mix it in. Drink lots of water throughout the day. You can use it with the stool softeners too. Constipation sucks big time. Natasha gets crazy like that too. But she will do it for a day or two and then calm down for a day or two. I think she had growth spurts or something and jsut sleeps more and is less active. I am sure Bailee will settle down and let you sleep - some nights anyway....

I am catching up on the thread and hope everyone is doing well.
I failed my 3 hour glucose! Not terribly but my blood was 179. Has anyone else? Off to the specialist I go. I have to start monitoring my blood. I will be a good girl with the eating although I don't even feel like I indulge that much! I am still getting sick almost every night. Oh well!

Hi,
Sorry for not posting for a while. We are doing great and the C-Section is scheduled for Oct 7th. Just 2 more months... I also have a hard time to sleep as my upper back gets tired from sleeping on the side and waking up in the Am is getting harder and harder. Jen- sorry to hear about the GDM. My best advice is to get a dietitian consult and have very little carb in the AM. For the sugar tests, massage your fingers and avoid using the index and thumb. The bright side of it for me is that I have been able to keep good control of my weight and having monthly US has been great. Tabitha: George is super cute and quite big. Just a few more weeks to go home. Claudia: Congrats on the wedding. You look so happy in the pics.

Hi all -
Jen - so sorry you didn't pass the 3 hour test. Hopefully you can keep it all under control w/ some simple diet changes. Who knows, maybe you'll start feeling better, too! I'm so sorry you are still so sick. Melissa - my fingers are crossed that you pass your 3-hour! Fossie - man, I feel you about the lack-of-sleep crabbiness. I wish I could just skip nighttime all together. My issue is that my legs hurt and are SO achy. Tylenol doesn't help anymore, so I just try to find a comfortable position (if possible) and sleep for a few hours. But the lack of sleep is definitely taking it's toll on me...I look exhausted! We had our 3D u/s tonight...it was a lot of fun! Our little guy wasn't very cooperative. First he had his face completely shoved into the placenta. I think he thinks it is his pillow. :-) After jumping around and shaking my belly he finally moved a little bit but then his arm was over his face most of the time. We were able to get a few good pics of his face though. It was just so much fun to see him yawn & stretch and I can say that i am completely in love. I'll post pics tomorrow. Wishing you all a wonderful night's rest!

Amy - glad to have you back - hope you don't feel stalked :-)!
I am so jealous of you guys that have c-sections scheduled - my doctor hasn't even mentioned it even though he has said that is going to be our mode of delivery. I think he is just still thinking that I am going into pre-term labor and that it won't be necessary to schedule anything. Laura - the achiness is the pits. My main problem is that I am so thirsty lately that I am literally drinking gallons of water which means that I am up every hour!!! I sleep much better napping in the day - I too get so annoyed at night and just wish it would be over sometimes.

Amy, welcome back! It sounds like you had a great time! I can't wait for pics!
Jen sorry to hear about your 3 hr test! It sounds pretty mild though so that you can control it well with diet. Shellie, I am glad you are working from home with all your sleep problems. I am so sorry you are having such a rough time sleeping. So the contractions came back yesterday afternoon- so I decided to go in for montioring. I am so glad I did. My cervix is high and closed, 3.3 cm. Natasha is Head down (good girl) and doing great. They did the Fetal Fibronectin test but decide not to send it because my cervix is looked so good it wouldn't add anything to the picture. I am not in preterm labor - I just have a very busy uterus. I feel exteremly reassured - if my uterus wants to contract - well it can go right ahead. No more worrying. I do have to say that I DO NOT recommend a speculum exam in your 3rd trimester. Just say no. I never have problem with speculum exams EVER - this was so uncomfortable I think my eyes we crossing. Maybe worse than the HSG I had a year and a half ago. The manual cervial check was uncomfortable too, but she said mainly because my cervix is closed and posterior and once you start to efface and dilate a little it is a lot better. But man, that speculum. definitely not recommended.
