Hi Ladies!

Laura (hopin) - I'm still touched that you check in on us. As all the other girls have said, I still think of you often.

Laura (Erik'sgirl) - that is funny about our boys!

Claudia - how funny! You're last post reminded me that I had totally forgotten about the kick card I should be doing now since Jaden moves so much! Guess I should get on that ;-)

I'm booking a prenantal massage for Saturday. Wohoo! I can't wait because Jaden seems to love hanging out right underneath my bra line/in the top of my ribs when I have to type or drive a lot for work!

Hi ladies. I am glad everyone is doing okay. I am doing okay other than some swelling and the rough nights sleeping. I am the same way as all of you, I will have several nights of no sleep then I will have a night or two of wonderful sleep.

Work is crazy, and they are definitely putting the pressure on about early return from maternity leave. I told them I would not make any committments for 6 weeks and then we would see.

Ok, I am ready for bed. Maybe I will have time tomorrow to chat more and catch up on everyone!!

Well, I am up with horrible acid reflux/heartburn and yes, I am very grateful for the Olympics - gives me something to watch (and keep me awake if they are going to keep showing intense stuff like the swimming relay).
Claudia - tonight I really started freaking out again about lack of movement - I just don't feel like I feel as much as you guys and I have never felt hiccups and can't tell body parts or "play" with the babies by pushing on them, etc. but I did break out the flashlight and a doppler and drank a glass of sweet tea and got them moving. I don't know how I compare because I think mine actually are running out of room at this point but the movements are definitely more rolling than kicking.

Laura - I thought Pineapple Express was hilarious - had some trouble concentrating though because the babies were really enjoying it and I was having heartburn and we ended up on the inside of an aisle and I had to pee about halfway through and didn't want to distiburb. So, even with all those distractions I thought it was good and dh loved it.

Shellie - Sorry you are up tonight. I, too, am definitely grateful for the olympics...they are my no-sleep entertainment. I was in bed (with DH sleeping) when the men's swimming relay took place and I was so excited I almost woke him up.

Claudia - Luke still has days where he is more quiet and his movements have begun to change as well. I feel more rolling rather than kicking. I guess that means our little ones are growing nice & big!

Laura (hopin') - You are so wonderful to check in with all of us. We miss you! How are you & your DH doing?

Christie - I'm sorry to hear your work is being demanding. Hang tough & only do what is best for you & baby!!

We had our Newborn Care class tonight. DH was very cute w/ learning how to change a diaper, swaddle, dress & bathe a baby. He's so excited for all of that stuff, which makes me happy. I just need to check myself & not be critical when he isn't doing things "my way". I want to make sure he feels confident as a new dad.

Allright - I'm going to watch some womens gymnastics now. Hopefully sleep will come eventually.

it's an olympic watching group ;-) I was just starting to fall asleep when the Phelps race came on so now I'm awake again!

I did take advantage of being up and online and tried out grocery shopping online with Safeway. I'll let you know tomorrow when it gets here how it went. I'm tired and swollen at the end of the day so I've been wanting to try it and they had free shipping so it seemed like a good opportunity. If it works out, it might be a good option the first couple weeks that Jaden is here.

I still get a combination of kicks and rolls, but they definately hurt more than they used too which I keep attributting to him getting bigger and running out of room so I'm sure your little ones are pretty cramped Shellie!

Ouch!!!! He just decided to start kicking me reallllly low. Guess he wants this laptop of of him ;-)

You ladies are too funny being up together watching the olympics! Though I know you'd rather be asleep! Sleeping isn't too bad for me... I do wake a lot needing to pee or having leg cramps or dd waking me up (which is a new thing.....she's always been a great sleeper, I think it's perhaps me getting up that's disturbing her!) but I usually go right back to sleep afterwards. I'm still a bit of a walking, emotional hormone though.....

Maybe because this isn't my first like most of you ladies, and I'm so busy with dd, but it hadn't really hit me that there'll be a baby here soon. But this last week I started going though all the baby things to see what we have v's what we need, and it's really sinking in now.... and I feel all excited and overwhelmed!!

Annabelle still moves and kicks a lot, and I can definately feel body parts that I push against and chase around my belly! Too cute!

Laura (kory) - it's lovely to hear from you! How are you doing?

Well, the girls room is done, apart from a few decorative touches, so here a few pictures. I'm pleased with it, I think it's a nice compromise between little girl room and nursery, and they each have their own little corner with their beds.

Caroline - love the room and the belly!

I just got back from the doctor - things are going ok, had another bad sonographer so I don't know really what to make of things but the babies are moving well and doing good other than that the baby boy is not growing as fast as his sister anymore - which worries me but doc says is ok. She is measuring 4 pounds, 3 oz, and he is measuring 3 pounds, 12 oz. They will keep an eye on it and take them soon if they don't continue to grow but I am hoping it was just an off measurement from a bad sonographer!

What a nice group of olympics mommas!

Laura, hugs to you! Thanks for checking on us. I wish you all the best in your new plans and I will not only cross my fingers but pray loud that your wishes come true.

Caroline, wow! Great job. The two corners look like they are two different rooms. You are very creative in bringing two special places together for two special little girls. And your belly, *sigh*, just gave me a huge smile. You look lovely!
The butterfly mobile, is that from Pottery Barn? I have been eyeballing at that mobile and my hand is now itching to pull out my credit card and get it.

caroline - love the girls' room, good job! and you look great! (I miss my baby belly)

shellie - I am sure there is nothing to worry about with your babies. sorry you had to deal with a crappy sonographer, they will definitely ruin your day.

laura (hopin)- so good to hear from you, hope you and your dh are doing well.

baby george was taken off iv nutrition yesterday, he is gaining enough weight from breastmilk. his status was changed from intensive care to intermediate. he seems to be getting stronger everyday, and I just love holding him.

Thanks ladies!

Fossie - I'm sure you're little ones are both just great - silly sonographer!!

Tabitha - that's great news on George!! Yea!

Netty - yep....pottery barn!! I too was eyeing it for ages, but kept thinking it was too expensive. Then, oops....one day out popped my credit card!! Haha! It is soooooo pretty.... bigger than I expected, but it will be lovely as a centerpiece in the room when Belle outgrows the crib....
