Oh, Amy, so sorry to hear those evil things came again. I have been craving chocolate milk, ice cream, cheese, etc. and have been so reluctant to eat/drink calcium because they say there is an association with increased calcium intake and kidney stones and I want no part of any reappearance but I have relented and have been eating/drinking all of those things. I might stop now that I hear you have gotten them back again - I hope you recover quickly and feel better! I couldn't believe the sounds coming out of me when I was dealing with them but know that everyone says labor is not as bad and you made it through something worse than labor - twice!

Ladies,

Thanks! You are so sweet to comment on the drawing of my two little guys. Laura, please check your PM, I sent you one with the contact of the artist.

Also, huge thanks to everyone for responding to my concern on washing or not washing the baby items. I have seen dryer sheets, very natural, for sensitive skin. I may use that for a few items.

Holly, sorry to hear about the hemorrhoids, I have never had them but I know they are very uncomfortable. Hang in there sweetie! Would Epsom salt seat baths help?

Amy, I echo Melissa, in fact, I was also going to say "you poor thing", How in the world you get that twice? I hope they go away soon and you feel better.

Tabitha, George is absolutely handsome and look at those eyes. They are precious! Any idea when your little boy will be going home with you? I bet you cannot wait for that.

I am officially on vacation , so stoked and I have so much that I need to get my little hands on. I am afraid that I may end up spending too much money since several of the things I need to get requires some spending.

Melissa- enjoy your shower today! Try not to overdo it, it sounds as if it is going to be a big one!!

Amy- I have never had kidney stones but I hear they are horrible. I am sorry you have had them twice, hope you are resting and recuperating!!!

Holly- All I can say is ouch! Hemmoriods. I have never had those either but my DH has and he was in some pain. I have been fearing them since getting preggo because I stay so constipated. I hope they are better and do get some of those tucks pads, my SIL says they help with the pain.

Tabitha- He is getting so big!! ALready a month old!!! I hope he comes home soon, I know he will do so well at home with his mommy!!!

I hope everyone else has a good weekend. I have nothing planned however there is alot needing done around here. I may just do it a little bit along, I don't feel real energetic today!!! But my sciatic nerve pain is better, I can thank god for that!!! It is still there but not nearly as sharp and crippling as the other day.

Christie - I'm glad you sciatic nerve pain is better!

I, too, am very low energy today. Which is annoying since there is so much I want to get done. Pregnancy is beginning to wear me out a little bit.

Hope everyone is well!

Amy, I can't believe they are back. I am sorry honey, that must be miserable for you.

We went to go see Tropic Thunder this evening. I laughed so hard I kept having BH contractions!

I am low energy too. i am going to start back with acupuncture next week. My acupuncturist said definitely to come back to her when the energy started to wane and she would try to help me perk up a little.

Oh, and I am boiling up. I know it is not that hot iin my house, but I am sitting here on the couch roasting. Oy.

amy & holly - glad you are both feeling better.

netty - hope you are enjoying your vacation, try to relax a little!

melissa - looking forward to seeing pics from your shower.

we had a big day today. baby george had his circumcision, and I am really glad to have that over with. and I successfully nursed him for the first time today with the help of a nipple shield. it's an odd looking little thing, but whatever works, right? we have been trying for several days, and I was getting nervous it wasn't going to happen. he is up to 5 lbs., 10 oz. dh and I have been calling him george ivy (IV).

Oh, and I keep meaning to tell you ladies - I highly recommend a pedicure for a quick inexpensive pick me up.

I went Friday when it was so hot outside. The cool water and massage felt so good. The best part was since I left work early, the place wasn't very busy so they let me stay in the massage chair while my toes were drying and I fell asleep!

Sorry I've been a little absent as of late.... the nesting instinct has kicked in big time, and we just switched our basement room from an office into a playroom. I at last have a grown-up living/dining room again, Abigail has her own area that she go play away the day in, and we used a closet in the hallway as a computer cubby... it's pretty neat actually!

Sorry to read some of you have been having issues, but glad to hear all is better, or at least on the mend.

Can't believe it's September...... Annabelle will make her appearance this month since my EDD is the 30th! Crazy! Where'd the time go!?
