. I think many of us had our US in the 6th week, but some in the 7th. the nice thing about doing it later is that if there is a heartbeat to be seen you will certainly see and maybe hear it - so no questions about was it too early etc...

I felt like mine was far away too - it was scheduled for when I was to be right at 7 weeks - they said it was because they knew that at that point you should see a heartbeat.

Thanks for your responses ladies. Right now I am waiting on hearing my Beta results from this morning since I have spotting. This is so very scary!

I'm back from my u/s......and we have ONE perfect little bean!!! We got to see the flickering heartbeat - it was awesome.

I'm measuring 6w1d (3 days behind), which they said was perfectly fine, but becasue of that, we couldn't actually measure the heartbeat, but it was DEFINITELY there!!

Good Luck to everyone still to go. You'll be completely amazed by the experience!!!

All, I'm so sad to report that my pregnancy is ectopic. I'm waiting for them to call with what hospital I'm going to go to. I have to have surgery since tehre was already a heartbeat.

I'll certainly check in on you guys and wish you all the best luck going forward. We haven't given up and all your good news gives us hope.

I am so sorry.
I also had an ectopic on Dec 06 and I can imagine how you fell. Right now worry about yourself and focus in getting better and heal your heart. Your time will come. Hope brings miracles.

ShellBell! Congratulations. It is an amazing experience isn't it?

Today my experience is being hampered by nausea. I also weighed myself this morning which was a sad sad state of affairs as well. I think I probably put on about 7 pounds since before IVF. I know a lot of people put on weight with IVF, but I was so hoping I would glide past that. I also know some of it is water weight, but jeez I worked so hard this past year to drop 20 pounds. Obviously I will gain weight with pregnancy, but I did not expect so much so soon. Oh well, nothing to be done. Can't drop pounds now...must continue to eat...

I'll get that picture of stickey scanned in tonight when I get home.

I guess we are really in sync. I also gained a few pounds, and my pants are getting tight. And like you, to prepare for the IVF I battled to loose 20 lbs last yr. Today I brought soup and salad but it is hard to resist my DD girls scotts cookies. Samoas, thin mints.....

My lower stomach is getting bigger. My DD yesterday nite said oh mommy your stomach is bigger are you sure you are not preg? (she does not know yet, we're waiting for the US) Then she layed on my stomach and said let me see what your stomach tells me... Her answer: you need to loose weight
