sorry for not being online sooner ladies! I was so anxious for my appt that I barely slept sunday night, so once the appt was over, I went home and took a nap before going in to work for an afternoon mtg.

I love my RE office! They understood why I was so anxious and let me know within seconds that they FOUND A HEARTBEAT!! We all cried and celebrated and then she looked around to make sure everything else was ok. She didn't count the heartbeat but it was good and strong. Apprarently the baby was quite excited too because it was moving it's little arm and leg nubs. We got a great shot of the imbilical cord and the nurse said she could see the skeleton but I onestly had a hard time seeing it.

The baby is measuring exactly 7w2d where it should be so everything that we could want right now is happening.

They gave me the choice to be released to OB or stay with them longer (which I thought was great!) and at this point I'm staying with appts there until I can get an appt in OB here where I live. My next U/S will be next monday 3/3. If I have an OB appt by then, then we'll figure out how much monger I'll keep driving up to Sacramento.

We've made is past pregancy #2 and I'm very thankful. Next goal is to make it to 11 wks!

I haven't seen anything from Claudia in the other forums yet either. I hope things are ok.

Thanks for all the congrats ladies. I was having dreams that alternated from no HB to having twins so I told my nurse "Let's get something in between!"

Ok, so who got the belly band???? I heard it hooks to your jeans to make them fit longer. Is that true? I'm officially out of my jeans According to the scale yesterday, I too have gained 7lbs since starting the IUI process.

Jess,
I was just searching the internet about the belly band. Don't need it yet but I have a feeling it won't be long the way I've been eating lately. I'm watching Idol and I like the aussie as well. He's been the best so far.

How are your wearing the belly band? With your pants unbuttoned & the band over it?

Hello everyone. My u/s yesterday went perfectly. We saw a perfect baby and heard a strong heartbeat at 165 bpm. I liked my OB/Gyn and his nurse practioner so I think I will like it there. The only thing I didn't like was the 2.5 hour appt. I am spoiled by my RE go in at 7:00 and out by 7:15. This OB stuff is for the birds. But they told me I am just like any other preg. woman, so I don't have another appt until 3/25. I will be almost 12 weeks then, and I am so excited to see how the baby will look then.

Hope you all are having a good week!!

congrat christie on another successful u/s! you are officially a "normal" preggo woman now!

as for the belly band, i tried wearing it 2 different ways, and i found the second way was better. the first way was you pull it on, and pull your pants up and just leave them unbuttoned, and just pull the band down over. i found that when i sit, it rides up a little, so i then tucked it under my pants, then folded it down over waistband. that worked better.
since my tops are always loose around that area, i don't have to worry about it bulging out of my shirt.
and you can find them online too. but i paid $24 for the one at mimi maternity, and that is around what the "bella band" goes for online. they offer more colors and styles though if you're looking for variety.
