I too am having crazy mood swings and very vivid dreams. I am also sneezing frequently and have a stuffy nose every day that can be bloody when I blow it.

I have weird dreams every single night, and have since by ET. I wasnt sleeping that well but then a friend of mine gave me this pillow she used when she was pregnant it is in the shape of a horseshoe and goes the length of your whole body. You can cuddle into it, or just let yourself be cradled. It is HEAVEN and my sleep seems to be a little better now. She used it her entire pregnancy, but found it really helpful after she was unable to sleep on her stomach or back...

Claudia,
Do you know where your friend got the pillow from and if there's a name for it. Sounds interesting and I may look into getting one.

I have been napping like crazy! I have taken three-hour naps today and yesterday. I am taking a prenatal yoga class starting tomorrow night, is anyone else taking this type of class? I just need something to get me motivated, I have turned into such a couch potato.

Melissa: I dont know where she got it, but this looks like the same one that she gave me.

Back 'N Belly Contoured Pillow - Maternity Pillows - Maternity - BabyCenter Store

It is so comfy even now, before my belly is big.

Tabitha: I am planning to start prenatal yoga, but I am nervous to do it right now. I was doing yoga before I started IVF, but at my last US they said that my ovaries are really big. They also said there was no sign of torsion, which of course is good. They didn't give me any activity restrictions, but I have been reading some case reports of torsion after IVF associated with exercise. I have been walking but I am nervous to do anything much more physical until the cysts get smaller. Has anyone been told that they should not exercise due to risk of ovarian torsion after hyperstimulation from injectables?

Hi Claudia, at my first appt with my obgyn, he looked at my ovaries to make sure that they had gone back to normal size. I asked him specifically about the yoga class, and he said he thought it was a good idea. And he also said walking was a good idea, but nothing aerobic at this point.

I have been told to basically go to work and sit and go home and sit - no physical activity whatsoever is allowed so I am definitely a couch potato too!

Crazy - we had a baby shower at our house Saturday night and a number of people (who I didn't know) congratulated me on expecting because they "noticed the bump." I don't feel like I have one at all - just think I look bloated and fatter - so it was really crazy to hear people say that. I guess it wouldn't be totally out of the norm since I think you show earlier with twins but still I am just now 8 1/2 weeks!!!

I know it's a different situation with you IVF ladies but my doc told me if it's good for me it's good for the baby. I've had no complications though. I'm exercising still, but not running the 5 miles a day I used to! But I try and do a 30 min walk/jog/elliptical each day along with yoga or swimming a few times a week. It actually helps me feel normal and less tired!

Hello ladies!!!!!!

I'll start with the dr update first! We still have a heartbeat!!!!!! This is my first time ever having a 2nd U/S that went well so I was a little emotional. The baby is actually measuring 2 days ahead of schedule, but the sack measured right on track at 8w2d. She guessed the HR was about 120 - so see Shellie they seem to be all over the place. I have GRADUATED to OB and my appt will be on 3/19. YAY!!!! No more hour drives to Sacramento (although I love that office). They also said to continue my progestrone and baby asprin until 12 weeks.

ok, now the other stuff - the belly band is wonderful! We have Motherhood here and it was only $17. I have found it works best to put it on, pull up my pants and then fold the excess over the top of pants. Hope that makes sense!

Sx's - Just the sneezing thing and I've had the weird dreams since shortly after my IUI. Still no m/s and the tenderness in my bb comes and goes. It's getting easier to relax through the coming and going of symptoms. A few more weeks and I'll make it past our next (and hopefully last) marker from previous m/c's

Ok - stupid things people say! MIL - "so have you completly given up drinking (meaning alcohol)?"

CNA today - "Well, let's hope there's a HB"

Hope all of you ladies are doing well and surviving the weather.

2/1/08 - 13dpiui beta 59, progestrone 8.4

Smile Ultrasound Update

We had a great 2nd ultrasound today! Our little bean's heartbeat is really strong and the bean is measuring 1 day ahead of schedule at 7w 5d. I am to stay on progesterone, metformin & baby aspirin until week 12.

I have graduated (woo hoo!) to my OB and my next ultrasound is on March 13th. I can't wait!!

Norcal - congrats on a wonderful u/s today! I have a belly band from my first pregnancy but could never figure out how to wear it. The way you suggested definitely makes sense. I'm going to give it a try tomorrow.

Mum2abbeylily & Chie - GOOD LUCK tomorrow at u/s #2! It's amazing how quickly our little beans grow!
