I had a really great day today. Besides feeling nauseated (this early?) most of the day and tired, I got the results of my second beta which was 246! That is more that double so I am really satisfied and very relieved. No more Betas though - next up is US at 7 weeks. My appt will be on 2/22. Feels like an eternity!

Tracy, I don't feel pregnant right now either. It comes and goes.

Mum, good luck on your US tomorrow!!!!

Well, my u/s showed one big black dot, developing a yolk sac!! I go back in two weeks for a heartbeat check then graduate to my OB! I feel so relieved to have actually seen that I am pregnant, because I really don't feel anyhting yet!

How are you all?

Plus they said my EDD is 9/30, but I think they are off a week - they calculate by LMP but I didn't O until cd 20 so I should be a week behind where a regular 28 day cycler is. I guess I'll know for sure as the baby grows, but for now I'm going with 1st week of October.

Caroline - Congrats on the ultrasound!!

Sx's - I usually never get hungry, so maybe that's why I notice it so much, but I swear I get hungry every two hours right now. Not just a, "mmm, maybe I should eat" but a "I NEED TO EAT RIGHT NOW!" LOL!

Anyone else getting pregnancy dreams yet?

Hi ladies. I just had my second beta today so I thought I would go ahead and post. I don't have my u/s until 2/19 which is going to be torture! All these due date calculators say EDD of 10/9, which is the day after my anniversary and a week after DH birthday. Sounds like October is really our month!!

Welcome Christie! good to see another IVFer here!

Mum, contrats on the US!!!! I think they are off on your date too. I fyou ovulated on CD 20 then count back 14 days and that is considered your "LMP".

I didn't get enough sleep last night so I am crabby and anxious today. Now the Nausea is starting which for the last 3 days has been happening in the afternoon. I know I am supposed to eat something but nothing is appealing....

Claudia - sorry about the nausea, just remember that's a good sign against m/c!

I found having almonds at my desk helps when I get hungry, and a good source of protein.

Norcal, by pregnancy dreams do you mean weird vivid dreams that make you go, huh? Yes I have those. I also have horrible insomnia which I had the first time I was pregnant too. I am so tired I go to bed at 8 pm (probably because I am not sleeping well. last (this night, for most people it is not over yet) I was up at 1:30 am and probably got an hour of sleep since then. Oh well...I guess I just have to figure out how to nap in my office during lunch.

Hi Blaze! So glad you joined us!

I'm doing fine - just sleepy, a few mild cramps/aches and still the food thing..... I have hypoglycemia anyway and always get a bit funny if I go too long without eating. Now it's a case of every 2 or 3 hours I HAVE to eat, otherwise I feel I would pass out!
Getting a little nausea in the evenings but nothing much.
No dreams for me yet - I swear I go into the deepest sleep when my head hits the pillow!

How's everyone else?

So many u/s around the 19th....my next one is the 18th! We'll all be able to compare beans!

LOL! Yep that's exactly what I mean. I'm usually a very light sleeper, but when I'm I sleep hard as a rock and have the weirdest, most vivid dreams that half the time when I first wake up I have to think - was that real or a dream?

mum - I'm right there with you on the every 2 - 3 hrs. I go from "maybe I should eat" to "MUST EAT NOW" in about 20 mins.

Norcal, exactly! I had this weird dream last night with Anna Nicole Smith in it and I woke up thinking it was real and wasn't sure if I had really even slept at all. So strange!

Claudia - DH watched the end of Fast food Nation last night before I feel asleep. If you've never seen it, it's VERY graphic and gross.

I told him "Oh great! Wonder what the pregnancy dreams will do with this!"

Hi ladies,

Glad that everyone is doing great! Sorry I haven't posted in a while but I have been VERY sick for the past three days. I had a fever over 100 for two days, and I couldn't get it down.

Went to the ER last night and it turns out I have Bronchitis. So, I have been feeling pretty crummy. I haven't been getting much sleep b/c I cough all night. The doctor prescribed an inhaler last night, and that really does help.

Mum-Glad your u/s went well.

Glad everyone else is great too, I can't remember everyone b/c my brain is fried from fever.

Morning ladies!

I'm not sure which is worse - missing my morning coffee or forcing myself to drink enough water during the day. Anybody found ways to help them with drinking water?

Oh I hope you feel better soon tracy. Look after yourself and that bean!

Norcal I know what you mean about the coffee, though I have always drank a lot of water so that's eay for me. I drink tea in the morning which is relatively low in caffiene and have switched to decaf or herbal teas for the afternoon. For me it's as much about having a hot drink than the coffee jolt - thought that would be nice with this sleepiness!!!
