Kory, Laura, Shellie, Dellemma - congratulations on your wonderful ultrasounds!! I'm so glad that you all had great experiences.
I had my NT scan today, and it went really well. Man, they really push hard on the belly to get the images they are looking for! Baby wasn't being very cooperative, but they finally got him to move enough see the neck. (I feel like I am having a boy.) I love this picture! DH couldn't immediately see the profile!

wow tabitha, that is amazing!
congrats to all the ladies that had great u/s today. i have mine tomorrow and i am so nervous! altough i threw up about 8 times this morning, so i am sure my little lovebug is doing great!

Me - 34 - PCOS, 1 Ovarian Ectopic in 2002 DH - 34 - no issues TTC since 2000 IVF # 1 Oct/Nov 2007 Cancelled due to low E2 levels & few follicles IVF#2 Lupron Micro Dose Flare protocol ER - 1/31/08 - 3 mature eggs, 2 fertilized w/ ICSI ET - 2/5/08 - 1 Morula transfered 2/13/08- Beta - 31, 2/15/08- Beta 84, 2/18/08- Beta 367, 2/25/08- Beta 6,4952/23/08- light spotting 2/28/08- more bleeding 2/29/08- early unscheduled ultrasound to rule out ectopic. Not ectopic, Praise God! Source of blood- small blood pocket above placenta. 3/10/08- 2nd U/S- baby measuring on schedule and good heartbeat! Praise God! 6/2/08- gender scan! It's a GIRL! 6/24/08 - repeat anatomy scan - Baby weighs 1 pound 1 ounce! 9-16-08 - Sophia was born 6 weeks early due to preeclampsia. She weighed 3 pounds 15 ounces but is doing excellent!  Thank you God!

Tabitha, that is an amazing picture. It really looks like a baby and to think 10 weeks ago all he was was a fertilized egg! Wow!
Fossie, definitely the exhaustion is not over yet, but it is lifting a little. I actually had enough energy to erercise after work today.

I am trying to get to a scanner - the one at work is broken. My family is going crazy wanting to see pics from yesterday! I asked at my appt. and I am still on exercise restriction - only walking is allowed - so that excellent way to feel better and rejuvenate is not an option for me. I walked into the office today and my co-worker looked at me shocked and said "you are huge" - I have definitely started showing recently and have had to buy maternity clothes and since the weather is warming a bit - sweaters and bulky clothes aren't an option to hide everything :-) - so I am officially going public I guess, scary!

Fossie, I think it is so exciting to go public! I will have to go somewhat public within the week since I am taking a new position at work and one of the reasons is that since I head up a newer program that requires a lot of development, I just felt it wasn't fair to subject them to a 4-6 month maternity leave. So I am taking a postition in a well established program (not too much of a move, I will still keep my same office etc) and will hire and train a replacement that can devote themselves to growing the program. I will have to let my coworkers know why I am moving over (we work so closely together), but I won't do it until after the NT scan. I am petrified of that US!
I have already gained 8 pounds and I need to slow things down so I think exercise is the best option. I am also trying to exert a little carb control - cut out the sugar and concentrate on more complex carbs which is how I normally try to eat, but I have just gotten into a bad pattern since IVF.

It's funny I am the exact same weight I was two months ago and even a year ago (per my dr.) but it has definitely shifted. I think I lost some weight by eating healthier, drinking a ton of water, no alcohol, etc. and have since put it back on but I have been told to eat, eat, eat and gain at least 10 pounds by my next appt. so for the FIRST time in my life I am really trying to gain weight - odd!

Hey ladies... glad to hear everyone's appointments have been going well and good luck to those coming up! My next visit is April 1st, at the OB. They'll listen for the heartbeat but no u/s, but that's ok. Although, I'm not really feeling pregnant at the moment. Though I am VERY emotional (poor dh)!!! I guess the roughness of the 1st trimester is lifting!
I'm having a clothes crisis....my maternity things from dd are HUGE on me, the just look silly, really baggy in the butt and legs. But, my regular clothes are getting snug. I've only gained 3 lbs so far but my belly is popping out and I want to stay loose and comfortable to hide it for a little while longer!! Arrggghh!! Small things to complain about though!

Here are two pics - they didn't scan very well so you can't really decipher but it really was awesome seeing them on the ultrasound looking like real babies! The first one is Baby A and the second pic is Baby B.

You know seeing those little profiles remind me of those black profile drawings of children they did in victorian times (or you can get them done at disneyland too I think...
