Dellemma - I showed up at a 1:00 meeting at noon today! Then, when I got back to the office I accidentally dropped some papers I was giving to my boss in the toilet and immediately reached in to get them out before I realized that they were soaked - gross! I have been a lot more forgetful, a lot more clumsy, and not as verbal - can't think of words that I want to use, can't remember if I told my dh something already or not, and oddly can't tell the difference between something I dreamed in one of my very vivid dreams and reality!!!

Amy - I am so jealous. I heard about that on television just yesterday and was very excited and then did some research and found out that it tests for the y chromosome and if it doesn't pick it up it rules out that gender but if it is there then it is a girl. From that I guess I just won't be able to tell since there could be one of each - only would tell me if there is one girl or two boys but not two girls or boy/girl. So exciting that you are getting one - you have to send your blood off and wait for results but you will still get them way quicker than any of us!!! You must keep us posted.

Claudia - too funny, anytime it has been an option I have been having tomatoes and mozarella with balsamic and salt!

Laura - I went to half the dose of Prometrium at the start of week 11 and then off the prometrium and asprin completely at the start of week 12. I was nervous too even though my head knew that it should all be fine. I still think it's partly responsible for my new found energy.

Glad everyone is having a good week! I indulged in a chirizo and egg burrito this morning and have been paying for it in indegestion all day! LOL!

HI. I had my NT scan yesterday and looked normal, I was told it should be less then 3 mm and our little bean's NT measured 1.06, the labs are still pending so I will have the final risk calculation by next week. But I fell so relieved and with better mood. But I continue to be super forgetfull and sleepy. You cannot belive how many times I have to reset my passwords, my DH told me to carry a small notebook to make notes but I am not in the end stage Alzheimer's yet but getting there. I recall with my DD my IQ only resumed to normal after she was 4 months old. Not sure what is the scientific explanation for pregnant brain syndrome.

Chie - sounds like the NT scan went well - great news!

Question for all of you - in the last week or so my breasts have gotten really tender again and feel just like they do premenstrually - is this something to be concerned about or is there an explanation?

I am not sure about everyone else but my boobs seem to go through these growth spurts where they get really tender for a few days (and I swear they get bigger during the same time!) and then they simmer down and go back to feeling fine. I am guessing that is what is happening to you Shellie. I don't think it is anything to worry about.

Hello buddies, I hope you all are having a nice weekend.

I have a question. How many times are you getting up at night to go to the bathroom? I am going several times at night, 3 or 4 times. Is this normal at this point? I am definitely drinking a lot of water during the day, but I am always thirsty. Anyone else experiencing this?

tabitha, i am doing the same thing. i go right before bed (around 10-11) then wake up around 3ish, then again around 6ish. i guess it is normal.

my intelligender test said "girl"! i have thought it was a girl all along. dh and i are excited, but of course aren't out shopping for pink and telling people it's a girl. i did a lot of research and there is more accuracy when the test says girl, but lots of people that say it told them boy and it was wrong. so now we will wait and see! it was a lot of fun to do, and i'd say if anyone else is interested, go for it! it's only $35 if you order from pickles and ice cream website.

have a good day everyone!!

Just in the last few days I have noticed more frequent bathroom trips - I am getting up about twice a night. I too am always thirsty and I heard you aren't supposed to let yourself get thirsty because that means you are dehydrated but I feel liking I am drinking something all the time!

Amy - I did the intelligender test too! It said with multiples it will tell you if both are girls or if one is a boy but if one is a boy it can't tell if both are boys. It also says that it isn't recommended for people with PCOS although my re didn't seem to agree with PCOS diagnosis for me so I don't know if that is official or not but either way - it said boy! Of course, we know that it is just for fun but it's exciting to think about!

shellie, how exciting! i bet you have at least one boy in there! i read that if you are on progesterone that it may give you a false "boy" result. but you are probably off of prog. huh? i am still on it, so that is why my girl result really suprised me! i emailed the company about being on prog and getting a "girl" result. i hope to hear from them soon.

I wondered about that too but I have been off progesterone for a little more than a week so I was thinking that it was probably out of my system - who knows. The cards were stacked against me even taking the test, multiples, progesterone, PCOS, etc. but I was at Pickles and Ice Cream yesterday and couldn't resist :-)! It was all I could do to hold off to take it this morning!!!

Sounds like chances are really good for girl for you!!! My dh says he's happy with anything but he had a smile a mile wide when we looked at the test and he realized it said boy. I go back and forth between wanting them to be the same sex because I think it might be a bit easier, wanting boy/girl since these are probably our two and only and I want one of each, wanting two boys because I don't want my girls to hate me in their teens and I have always been a tomboy in a sports fanatic marriage, etc., etc. It's fun to think about either way!

Chie - congrats on your NT scan....it sounds like everything went great!!

Amy - A girl!! Yeah! Do you have your gender scan scheduled yet? I bet you are having a girl...with your own gut feeling being so strong & now the intelligender results, sounds like you are right!

So, pretty much all of my symptoms have been gone for the past 2+ days. And my next u/s isn't until May 2nd. How are you guys dealing with the nervousness of whether or not everything is still OK with your baby? After having a silent miscarriage, I just worry so much that something is wrong but that I have no way of knowing. And words of wisdom are appreciated! :-)

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! My DH & I went camping...the air matress did not agree with my back. But other than that, it was a lot of fun!

Tabitha - we are definitely going to find out the sexes as soon as possible! I can't stand the suspense and I think mentally I am just waiting to know what they are to start thinking of names, decor and other stuff that makes it more real. How about everyone else, finding out? Don't know when we will have our scan to tell - not scheduled yet.

Laura - I feel the exact same way - any symptoms I had, which were few to begin with, seem to have gone away (other than my aching back from planting flowers today and a severe sunburn from just 1 hour outside - guessing it is because of more sensitive skin they say happens when preggo since I rarely burned before). I'm seriously considering a doppler just for peace of mind but they say sooner than later you can just hear the heartbeat with a stethoscope so I was holding out for that. I can't wait (and hope and pray that we all make it that far) to start really, really showing and feeling the babies move so there is some reassurance. I'm sorry I can't be of much help since I have spent the last week googling things like "missed miscarriage" and "diminishing symptoms." I think this is a side effect of one of my main "symptoms" - heightened anxiety, but I just can't seem to be happy and expect the best yet!

Hey ladies, here is the update. Chie, I am glad that your NT scan went well. Blessus how did yours go?

Tabitha, I get up to pee at least once or twice a night. sometimes 3 times if I drink a lot or go to bed early. I am always thirsty too and have been since 5 weeks or so.

Laura, I was mess until I had my NT scan. My symptoms were starting to disappear (as they are supposed to). Do you have an OB appt soon so you can hear the babe on the doppler?

I went on a gorgeous hike today - I feel almost normal.
