Hey chie and laura...I also failed the one hour. I wasn't surprised b/c I had GD with my first. Just watching my carbs and sugars and testing three times a day. You should be able to control with diet and exercise Laura. It's amazing how much exercise can affect your blood sugars. When I was pregnant w/ my first...I went to taco bell and had three soft tacos. My blood sugar spiked up into the 200's. I took a walk and tested again and I was in the 80's. Hope you do good on the three hour!!!

Has he always been like that? Or just since you are pregnant? My cats (and my mother's cats when I go to her place) are glued to my lap since I got my BFP.

Ok - another question ! When someone asks you how far along you are what do you say? My dh thinks it is silly to refer to weeks because unless you are pregnant or have been pregnant that just doesn't make sense, but I am having trouble figuring out what month I am in, it shouldn't be that hard but with the whole 10 month/9 month thing I am really thrown off!!! I've just been saying 16 weeks and will probably still do that but I try to think back to 17 weeks ago and weeks didn't mean much to me then either - I always wanted to know months!!!

Exactly Shellie!!!!

I guess since I'm 15+ weeks, I should be saying I'm four months (meaning in my 4th month) but it feels like cheating. So next week when I'm 16 weeks shoudl I start saying I'm 5 months?

Once I hit 15 weeks (last week) I started to say 4 months. Now that I feel comfortable translating weeks into months I will just say 4 or 4 1/2 or 5 months and round up or down. It is not cheating! We think about things in weeks (or days really) because for us every moment we are still pregnant is a miracle to a woman who has had problems with infertility, but most people don't care if you are precise. They just want a frame of reference.

Hi All

Sorry about the failed GT tests - you all had the tests so early? Is that because of PCOS/previous history? Mine won't be done until 24-28 weeks. And definitely, chocolate cake being out is no fun, but as you all know better than anyone, well worth it. Think of it as all the calories you are avoiding! I'm worried that mine will be positive this time beciase it is twins and I hear that increases the risk. We'll see...

Caroline - that's great you feel the baby move. I felt a couple of things a few weeks ago but nothing recently - hopefulyy soon. With DD, I started feeling her around 16-17 weeks.

Amy - I love your bump!

Stay well.....

Good morning girls. I had a horrible night. First, before i start, the baby is fine. I had dinner lastnight w/ 2 of my girlfriends. In the middle of dinner I felt a gush, and it was blood...a LOT of blood. I continued to bleed, and they drove me to the ER where I met dh. After an agonizing 5 hour wait I finally got a room, only to wait another hour. At 2:00 am I finally got an ultrasound. There was baby, dancing away. They said the bleeding may be b/c my sac is attached kind of close to the cervix, which can some times cause a little bleeding. She said it is called previa (which I had heard of) but that my case eas so mild that she thought it would correct itself. It was awful, I thought that it was over. But God is AWESOME and the baby is fine. We got home at 5:30 am and I just woke up for a nap. I am still exhausted, so I think my bed is calling me again.

I hope everyone else is doing great! Happy Friday!

Wow, Amy - so sorry to hear about what sounds like a horrible, scary evening. Glad everything is alright - I can't believe they made you wait so long. Rest up and again, so happy to hear things are fine!
